Hey everyone,
I'm using Cyanogen Mod 13 on my Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F). Everytime I want to install an app from Playstore that is over 50 MB my Playstore crashes. I did clear the cache and deleted all updates. Also I flashed the Gapps again. Then I unistalled Playstore completely and reinstalled it. Nothing changes. I wonder why I can install small apps but no bigger ones. My phone has enough space so this isn't the problem.
Thanks for helping
Didn't change something but now it works....

hello,
I am having this problem since a week now on my Galaxy S4 I9505 with CM11 rom. When I try to install a new app from the playstore or when I try to update an app, I get this insufficient storage available error. but when I go and look how much space there is available. I see there is more then 5GB+ available in the internal storage. I read a lot about it in several topics and forums and I tried all solutions and nothing worked. I tried emptying my cache, updated the rom to the latest nightly build, emptying dalvik-cache. can somebody help with this problem. its driving me crazy
any help would be appreciated

Hi mate
Is a playstore error
1 Delete the app that is giving you problems at /data/app-lib
2 If the problem continues delete the app at /data/data
3 If problem continues delete also the app at /data/app
You may lose the settings of the app , backup app before you do anything
hello,
thank you for your very fast reply. but the problem does not only persist on apps that need updates but also on new apps I never installed before. so the app doenst have any folder in one of the locations you mentioned. and let me give you another example. I downloaded xbmc apk manually en tried to install it manually and it gave me a similar error like in the play store.

Hi
But what about the ones that need update , did you delete the folders of those to see if it helps?
Also clear data and cache from google play framework
Do you use ROM Manager to create Nandroid backups? Or ClockworkMod Recovery in general?
If so you may very well have your nandroid backup tacking up all that space.
ROM Manager defaults to save your backups in the internal storage and then hides the files so they can't be accidentally deleted.
This results in the file manager showing available space that really isn't available.
Delete the old nandroids or move them to the external SD card to make room.
Hello. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo with CM12.1 ROM installed on it. I never had any problems with it, but yesterday, I found out that I can't install any app from Play Store or APK file. I tried to go back to Stock ROM and it worked on it, so I went back and installed CM12.1 again. I installed essential apps, enabled root access and used it for a while without any problems, and I couldn't install apps again after some time! It's driving me crazy!
Play Store shows error -501, installing through an APK file shows an "App was not installed" error and ADB shows the INSTALL_FAILED_INTERNAL_ERROR. Also, every app in Application Manager is 0 bytes now. Please, help me!
I tried to wipe cache and dalvik-cache, reinstall Gapps. Also, when I enter the Memory option in the settings, it's calculating forever.
EDIT - OK guys, I'm so stupid. I accidently disabled some system services by using Servicely. It's now working
Hi Everyone,
I am currently using the latest CM build 13 (07/07/2016) and having some issues downloading Snapchat.
When I click on Snapchat in Playstore it just crashes.
I have wiped my phone and freshly installed the build again and same issue occured.
I thought it might have been the G Apps i installed so using the G Apps Open and G App base from CM both provided the same result no change.
I downloaded the snapchat apk and installed it that way but when i try to launch it snapchat crashes.
I am running out of ideas has anyone else ran into this problem ?
Running Correct Date/Time, Removed Cache and Data from Playstore, Snapchat, Play Services.
EDIT: I had to format everything on my phone (Backed up data of course) this has resolved the issue not sure why though.
I know with the TF101 droid tablet, running certain custom ROMs requires you to format the internal storage with a certain version of TWRP, otherwise the Play Store will error out
For more then 3 weeks now Im having a problem with GPS (google play store).
Im using XXX version 9.6 and in that version there was added support for xposed.
Ive did a clean flash and afterward GPS didnt open at all. Ive re install the rom without the xposed support. This time GPS open but no new updates are been shown and when I click on the ¨installed" tab no apps are shown.
Ive tried reinstall the flash again, updating the GPS and the Plat services, delete cache and data and to remove my account and add it again but nothing works.
I installed the new google calculator app with dark theme yesterday and it was working fine until today where the app itself disappeared and i can't find it in settings or disabled apps, i tried to reinstall the apk but it shows this, i tried from the play store and it shows this, i tried to use a method i used before to bypass this kind of issues by slightly changing the package name in an apk editor app and it used to work, now it's just giving me "problem parsing the package"
please any help
Another user reported the app had occupied 1GB space on his phone, so the app seems buggy.
If you cannot clean the apps memory/cache in settings/apps anymore and uninstall then I would suggest you search for the com.google.android.calculator folder(s) on your phone and manually them. Then from TWRP also wipe dalvik cache and cache on next start and for the time being, until Google fixes it, use another calculator.
I am happy with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shaytasticsoftware.calctasticfree (only 2.9 MB and better reviews than Google).
