Hey guys, got a serious problem on Note 3 N9005.
This happens to me 2-3 times but it's really annoying.
When I use my phone like normal, the phone suddenly won't light up the screen, so I have to get it rebooted.
After reboot, my Evernote seems corrupted, it log itself out, and won't let me log-in again saying "no internet connection"
However the internet is fine, the weird part is, I can never get it work again, including clean cache and reinstall the software.
The only way to solve it seems to be wipe everything and re-flash a ROM.
It seems like some permission or file system problem to me, could anyone provide some thought to get it solved? Thank you!
You find fix yet having same problems

Hey there
A friend of mine has the following problem with his Note 3 (completely stock).
Since the latest 4.4.2 OTA update, sometimes suddenly the screen does not respond to touching it with your hand. It does react to the stylus.
Locking and unlocking the screen does the job, but only for a few minutes.
I wiped the phone via stock recovery, but the problem persists.
Anyone with the same problem, or maybe a clue?
Thanks!

Hi
Same problem here,I tried several 4.4.2 official and custom roms but not fixed and I tried these too:
I tried mega wipe and last rom in samfirmware!
I removed my external sd card
And I googled and found there are others with same problem so it shouldn't be hardware problem
p.s.When screen freezes just half of it works! And just doesn't work by fingers and it works by s_pen!
There no way to come back to 4.3 too
What should I do?
Ty in advance
Finally Solved!
Hi
I had same problem
I did everything u said like:
mega wipe and changing rom
custom roms
taking out battery when it's on ( I Did this but I don't know It had any effects on my phone or not!)
taking out external card
But I still Had the Problem
Solution:
But I had a flip cover and I separated that from phone and thanks God,surprisingly It's Fixed and it works like a charm!!! after that I used my original cover and there is no problem till now.
Good Luck
Had the same issue posted it here bit no one responded.
Solution: The flip case I had..there's a problem with it where it locks the screen even when the case is not closed. But lately I had no issue it just seem to gotten fixed by itself.

Hello everybody,
I installed hydrogen today and since that moment I cant use my phone anymore. I get all the time ghost touches and cant use anything. Even restarting is difficult. I tried to Install Oxygen 3.0 still the same ghost touches.
Atm im downloading the stock rom and will try it again.
PS: in TWRP no ghost touches only when I boot any android version the ghost touches start.
pls help the OP2 is only 2 days old...
Suffering from the same, but after a screen replacement. In recivory no ghost touches
Did you try a "very" clean install in TWRP ?
Like Wipe > Advanced > All except Internal Storage
Then try to reinstall the Rom ( or OOS 2.2.1 / CM 13 or another ROM you want ^^ )
And be sure your TWRP's version is compatible with H2Os / OOs 3
I have now the stock rom on my phone and everything works well again.
I dont know what the problem was I deleted already EVERYTHING from my op2 but it didnt help
I must stay with the stock rom :/

i have a note 4 and updated it to the latest firmware...the problem i started experiencing a week back was that it keeps rebooting on its own..and does not start until and unless it is connected to a charger..
yesterday the problem which i experienced was that it keeps on rebooting itself even when connected to a charger..
i tried a factory reset and also cleared thedalvik cache..
then i tried using a custom recovery (twrp) and a custom rom but the problem still persists...
i tried using different batteries and even removed the sd card but the problem still remains...
need help on this plz

Try anker batteries
This sounds like the fault that numerous people are having, phone gets to a certain age and then just starts breaking. Seems only a new motherboard actually fixes it.
if you have warranty it will change your motherboard

Are you using Magisk? I sometimes noticed after installing Magisk it happened to me but I wasn't 100% sure, A reboot will bring it back
I'm having exactly the same problem. Tried wipe cache in recovery mode, reboot a few times, didn't help.
Please share if anyone has a solution, cheers.
Yes, I have Magisk. But even after a few of reboots, the sensor is not there yet. I'm stuck with this problem...

Okay I'm not sure then could be a OOS bug or hardware related. Please provide feedback here Click the "Submit A Bug" Option top right.
