SD Card on SGN10.1

Hello,
I have several questions
(1)
I have Galaxy Note 10.1. I noticed that there's a partition called "sd card" I think this is not the external sdcrd but rather an internal memory partition. Can somebody verify ?

Also, I am looking to buy Sandisk 64Gb micro sdcard to be use on my GN10.1 (SanDisk Ultra 64 GB MicroSDXC Class 10 UHS-1 Memory Card with Adapter (SDSDQU-064G-AFFP-A) ) , does this work on this tablet ?

and is there a way to use this 64Gb drive to mount as "sd card" partition ?

1. The sd card partition is the internal memory, so if you have a 16 GB note, then you will have a 16 GB "sd card" partition.
2. Works perfectly in mine
3. When you insert it, it gets mounted into "ext sd card" I don't know if it's possible to change that or even why you would want to

Ah another thing I love about this tablet is that all the internal memory full 16gb can be used for apps etc, unlike my previous note phone.

The reason I want to mount external micro sdcard as internal memory sdcard is to save space, I have lots of apps, games on my tab.

It should be noted that you can store stuff on the external sd card but running apps from the external sd card in a non-rooted state is another matter. AFAIK it can't be done.

Thanks for all your replies. So is it better if I root my devices? haven't done any rooting on any of my android devices, so im kinda hesitant. Can you tell me how to root my devices in safest way?

Method 2 from the rooting guide. Don't forget to run triangleaway after to reset your flash counter... All instructions are in the flash guide in developement forum...

[Q] Micro SD HC card suddenly stopped working

i have an imation 16gb sdhc memory card for my samsung galaxy y. one night i woke up and it appears to be my micro sd card is unreadable by any of my computers and my phones. is there any way to fix this?

Today lots of SD cards are getting corrupted I have a 4,8 and 2 GB SD cards one day they all got corrupted I tried every single thing to recover it its no use

CM 11 Snapshot m9

Recently I just flashed a cm11 Snapshot m9 everything works perfect even the sd card but I can't seem to move my apps to my sd card .
question I need help on .. My apps can't be transfered to my sd card n from what I know my sd card is*SanDisk 64GB SDXC Memory Card Ultra Class 10 UHS-1
And from xda they said kitkat dislikes lower then class 6 SD cards n I have the path call sdcard1 N I cant seem to move any apps via clean master when my sd card is 49GB I also tried sd fix ,nextapp sd fix . Even I tried install modules like handle external storage and kitkat sd card full access via xposer installer nothing seems to work
You guys have a better solution for this ?

Is sdcard 400gb working in the note pro ?

yes the MicroSD reader admit SDXC, and Filer System Extfat, the note pro can read Micro SD cards to 2TB. I have a 400GB Micros SD on it

Yes it can, I have had a 400GB for about a year now. Still am at Android 4.4.2 - I found that even though the card comes pre-formatted, it is best to let the tablet reformat it first. Then pull the card out and fill it with your content. There is never enough space.

Anyone having any issue with Sandisk Ultra 128GB MicroSD card?

not sure this is just me or does happen to others, I had the M2 with the latest firmware installed, and for no apparent reason, I had tried 3 Sandisk Ultra 128GB MicroSD and all 3 had show corrupted SD Card after being formatted using the phone as portable storage, but the strange thing was, if I use the ADB and partition the SDCard as Internal storage, all 3 cards just work fine.
all the 3 Sandisk cards were tested ok and were used all the while in my old phone, my PSP and some other devices. So it is not an issue with the card.
Any thought on this?

Well i have a 64 gb sandisk ultra...a brand new one...i did not face any such issue but i also didn't format using the phone too...i read somewhere that the new fota is responsible! I don't have links or proof to back that up at this time!

Try formatting as FAT32

I am using a 64gb sandisk ultra card since day one. I also formatted using the phone and have zero issues. It works with file transfers from pc, copying/deleting/editing to and from phone memory etc.

I am using 64gb sandisk same problem which u are facing and some guys also facing issue hope we will get solution from someone

I tried formatting in other modes too still not detecting what to do anyuggetiins

I had same issue on max pro m1 with custom roms. Works in stock rom. All custom roms and kernels shows its currpt. While it works in twrp

My 64gb sd card also corrrupted after the last update
Still can't fix it..

Facing Exactly Same Issue
I am facing the exact same issue with my Sandisk 128Gb memory card, Tried on different phones and its working fine on them but it's not working on M2 Pro. Tried Different ways of Formatting the memory card but the problem is still the same. Need Help, Feeling Helpless as I am a Youtuber and need a good memory for the Self Vlogging.

Yes I have faced an issue in Zenfone max m1 Pro while using a sandisk 256gb A1 card, and came to know the A1 standard card in not working with the mobile.
