How to disable CyanogenMod 13 recovery - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

How to disable CyanogenMod 13 recovery to enable TWR or should reflash TWR?

I think you need to flash TWRP. I don't even know what CM recovery is or looks like, lol.

Best way to upgrade to CM14 from CM13?

Just recently the CM14 nightlies have been put up for this phone. I'm currently running CM13 and was wondering if it's possible to "dirty flash" CM14 or alternatively wipe everything and flash a backup of my data?
Do a full backup with cm
13 in twrp then try a dirty flash up to cm14.1 if it doesn't work do a full wipe and Flash cm14.1 then do a restore of data from cm13 backup

Okay, thanks!
The guide Says To Flash Gapps At The same time. It's a little buggy though. I'm having screen rotation issues.
It is in nightly status right now it won't be stable till a snapshot build comes out

I can't enable wifi after Updated to CM14, clean install (cm13 to cm14.1).. Flash CM14.1 rom and then reboot to recovery mode again and installed GAPS, but wifi couldn't be enabled by any trial.. I went to back to CM 13.... Will wait some more time...:crying:
You did it wrong you flash ROM then immediately nougat gapps in custom recovery do not reboot in between

There's a new nightly and wifi "works", but if you reboot after the initial boot after installing the zip it doesn't work anymore. Using cm-14.1-20161130-NIGHTLY-kltevzw.zip

revert back to stock rom from cm 13

i'm running on cm 13 build3.3 and twrp recovery . can someone please guide me in reverting back to stock rom. i did try flashing "A6000-s_S030_151030_WCF2" this rom using recovery. but it returned error 14
Try using twrp 2.8.7.7 or flash cm12.1 by ed300 then try it.
thanks bro, i dont know if it would work but now i'm in cm 12 installed this one as to install stock rom but now i find cm 12 much bugfree than cm13 or stockrom
bro i thik this is not a flash file...first open the zip and then extract system and your country zip u will find in the zip that u have downloaded then reboot to recover and then flash the system and country zip and don't forget to clear data internet storage and chach...i hope this will work

Help! I installed latest Resurrection Remix and it eliminated TWRP

I used TWRP to install a recent Android 10 version of Resurrection Remix on my Moto G 2015. It works fine but it seems to have replaced my recovery (TWRP) with a Resurrection Remix recovery system that lacks most of the functions of TWRP. I want to install Gapps but without TWRP I cannot do it. I tried to reflash recovery with fastboot and a twrp image but it won't actually flash because the new recovery system apparently won't allow for that. How do I get TWRP back, or if not that, how do I get Gapps installed without TWRP?

Root the RR and in adb mode flash TWRP.img using the dd command. Do a search on your own on XDA for how to do this.
