When i Connect charger in Power Off mode
It Reboots the phone... Can't charge in Off mode
Anyone can help...??

Is a known problem for stock based roms , some people blame it on a bootloader kernel issue

For now it seems so , all TW based roms have that problem

Rom Changing can't Help...

[Q] Which Is The Best Modem and Kernel For I9500

Hello,
i'm using a custom rom like Ozcan rom.
this rom is perfect for s5 apps but this rom has few problems not sure with anyone but me fastly battery draining and charging is very slow
this problem comes with this rom this is modem or kernel problem or any other problem,
battery 100% charging with original charger (2A) and original cable in 4 to 5 hours before on any custom rom battery normally 100% 1 hour and
30 or 40 minute.
any solution plz share with me,

I too use Ozcan rom stock kernel v4.0. It takes 2 hours max to charge full.

Well brother..
Dowbload Galaxy Current Charging frrom playstore and see the Ma that are coming from your charger.
Charging from an original cable does not guarantee a hardware glitch in the charger, like a bad data cable after prolonged use.
Anything less than 1000ma is not a good report. If thjs happens, charge it with another data cable and see if the Ma change.
If nothing happens, try changing the kernel..there is nothing wrong with the rom for sure.

my problem is solved by Ocan rom new version 5.0
because Ozcan devolper use indie kernel (Omega Droid)
now my phone is charging normally

Well he flashed the full rom and omega kernel is a part of it..
You can download omega files from the playstore and download only the kernel from there..

Well I dont know if there's any problem with CM12.1 by @ED300 You should get custom kernels like Telo or God's Kernel to get fast charging.
And If you really want to change, then CM11 has best performance and battery life. Currently, Im on MIUI 7 and its also smooth and has good battery life and performance

wow Xenon HD is thes best no bugs found very smoth no lag thanx men

after couples days of test i found two problems,, number one : battery slow charging and any kernel work, number two : i can not change directory videos and photos storage to sd card

You have to set the USB Fast Charge ON in Battery Menu of Kernel Adiutor and need a charger with output between 1A to 2A, for fast charging.

Which kernel are you using..??
I'm using GoD's kernel and you can see the fast charge option in ss below

My phone is rooted but when iflash god kernel or any kernel, the rom broken say : unsuporrted.... And i can not go in first page sothe solution i flashed again to work

Well you can flash the kernel zip from twrp, or you can flash the boot image through fastboot on pc or rashr on phone

Yeah men i know how install kernel the problem when i install kernel the rom broke say unsupported... So i think problem in xenon hd rom only i test god kernel and some kernel all not work

Well since Im on MIUI and not on Xenon HD, so I dont know if its problem with xenon only

Have you tried dirty flashing?
Reboot into recovery and without wiping anything, flash the Xenon ROM, then Kernel and gapps, then reboot.

IMO there are only two Roms MIUI 7 and CM 11 Latest
Yup I've tried every rom i could.. From xenonHD to ResurrectionRemix every MM LP rom and kitkat too.. But the thing is if you want to modify your phone up a bit like installing viper and xposed... And even Extreme sound mod... Then these roms are perfect.. Like without any bug or lagg or battery drain... Or anything... Right now i am on cm11 latest thread by Gaurav' which doesn't have bugs anymore. Is working like a charm for me... So yeah!

Wow, it used to be considered bad form to ask about the "best ROM" on XDA. Disrespectful tp the devs who make their work available at no cost most of the time. Guess not any more. I

Yeah as per performance and battery, CM11 does way better job than others. And if you use chappil's kernel with it, then you got yourself Clyde & Bonnie

Please help me.. In a big trouble with custom roms

Guyz please see my screenshot attachment.. In every custom roms of marshmallow or Lollipop.. Doesn't matter which kernel I'm using, I face slow charging while using mobile data (3G). I don't face charging issue when not using data.. But when using mobile data my charging speed is like 10 ma to 30 ma.. That is weird and tooo slow. But nor my cable or charging adapter is broken because I only face this in custom roms .In miui my charging speed is 300-400 ma when heavy apps are in use with mobile data use. So the problem is in custom roms.. Is there any way to solve? As I already tried all custom kernels, don't ask me to use another custom kernel. Help will be appriciated. Don't reply if u don't want to help and if you didn't read the full post. Peace. Thanks In Advance

What is the problem?

@s.sawrav sir see my screenshot attachment in the thread above . whenever I use mobile data and use my phone I got 10 ma to 30 ma charging speed.. It happens with all custom roms and with all custom kernels.. Only in MIUI it gives 300-400 ma while using mobile data.. Having this issue with custom roms.. Please help

Bro it's not a rom issue,it's your charger issue,try with a 2A output charger,it'll charge fine,the kernel in all the present rom has the issue of slow charging fixed.

@s.sawrav if it is a charger issue then why it didn't occur in miui I'm 100% sure that my charger is ok

And I'm 100% sure that it's not a custom rom issue, it's your charger,as i told before the slow charging issue has been fixed in every kernel source.

@s.sawrav I think you didn't noticed my whole comment, It only charges slow when mobile data is on.. Otherwise it charges normally :/ It charges 1% in 20-25 minutes when using Mobile data.. Otherwise when data is off it charges in 2 hours... Please try to understand

Which redmi 2 version you have and have you flashed this rom with latest version of TWRP recovery.?

I can use it too, but is drain too fast and when it reaches 1%
it takes a lot of time and i don`t know when i need to charge it.
That`s why i need help for kernel and rom.

I have same issue but I fix it with spacelemon kernel, but this kernel is for 910C.
Anyway check this kernel for 910F, the developer mention that this kernel support extended batteries
