"Help" applictaion using up battery - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

In the process of trying to uninstall/remove all of the useless apps on my new Galaxy s7 edge I found that the "help" application used 20% of the battery since the last charge. The problem is I don't have to option to disable or even force stop it. Has anyone else experienced this, and, if so, has anyone solved it? I hate the thought of losing at least an hour of SOT to a useless application. Thanks.

For those suffering from poor battery backup with official jb

For those having heavy battery drain after official jb update try the following setting under location services, it works great with just 1-4% battery drain in standby for me in 10-12 hrs:

This would render some of the Google Now services useless, isn't it?
I've used this trick in the past mainly to disable the stock maps app from wakelocks. It works for battery but is annoying if you need some of the other google services on tap.
it works for me. thanks

install that and uncheck location within the app to see if that helps. You could also use TiBU and convert Google Play services as an user app then use Greenify to hibernate when not in use. I would try both out.

Battery Settings

I'm using Ketan L12 and I froze some apps. Suddenly, my battery settings was gone. Anyone here knows which application or apk is responsible for the battery settings?

It's most likely better you list all the apps you have frozen. That way it will be easier for people to help you.

Is my wakelock status normal?

I'm on tmobile using sd820 s7 edge. I just installed wakelock detector yesterday. I was wondering if these are normal or if there is a way to fix them.

No, that's not normal being awake 28% of the time during that duration. Mine is 5% awake. You might want to play around with the Google Now settings & turn off some features you're not using.
Using Greenify's Aggressive Doze mode will really help too.

Terrible battery life

Hey guys I am currently running official BQC5 firmware which I got through OTA update on my G930V. I have noticed that on Nougat it's battery life has become terrible. You can judge the battery life by taking a look at the attached screenshots. I have disabled various bloatware apps which I don't use using package disabler pro. Other than this, no modification has been done on my phone. I also keep display brightness below 50%.
So kindly suggest me how can I make the battery last longer again.
Thanks and Regards

Did you use the battery optimizer option? I have mine set to the middle setting. It's in the battery section of settings. Try that and see how it works.
