Hey there,
Usually, flashing a stock rom might fix the gps problems. Then you can return back to the custom rom.

I do not use AOSP cm Rom,so can not confirm, but if you follow the link that I put, you can make nandbackup of your current ROM, install a stock rom, make root, change CSC, check if your GPS works and then go back to your AOSP rom and restore the backup....

It is non wipe version, just flashed with Mobile Odin, my data still intact. My first impression, very smooth rom version..
Changes :
1.The word "Swipe screen to unlock" appear on lockscreen
2. New Phone Icon
3. Torch widget
4. Wake up significant faster than prev firmware
5. One hand operation option under keyboard
6. Levels of brightness control for browser
Nice!!!Thanks for sharing!!!
Where it released???
For Germany Debitel.
Is this an OTA update which will hit WW? Is it english, not sure if that's a silly question just don't want to download and flash something that is useless!
Need more information really, is it any different? What has changed?
Cheers Merry Christmas!

Its for Germany Debitel (service provider) and I will be careful in flashing that as 1st its specifically for a service provider (that means lot of debitel bloatware) plus I cant confirm if it will lock my note or not.
But Appreciate the share

Have flashed it and it had no bloatware at all. Just a standard Samsung firmware. And it does not lock your phone. I am in Sweden and using it with Three without any problems. But it has the same market problems as KL3 that some local apps might not be available in the market.

the prob for me to solve the market issues is that i never had it....so i always need testers

Does anybody have a fix to get into the service menu on Android 4.3? This way we can enable HD Voice for all the custom roms out there. I have not yet to find a custom 4.3 rom with HD Voice enabled.
In Android 4.2 it was easy, you could just download the ShowServiceMode app from Play Store, but this does not work for the Android 4.3----

Thank you, but this does only work on 4.3 roms with Service Mode integrated, such as Omega Rom
Many of thes rom does not have Service Mode and they do not have the apk's
com.sec.bcservice
com.sec.phone
Perso
Preconfig
RilNotifier
Service Mode
Service Mode Ril
They are needed to get the app to work, so lets just hope they get integrated in more of the 4.3 roms
Isn't HD voice a little bit of modem and then it being physically programmed into the ROM?
I recall with the S2 you could edit a file with root and turn it on
I do not know, only know about the service mode if you are on original rom or Showservicemode app if the rom have the apk mentioned above with servicemode integrated. Only custom rom I know have this is Omega 4.3 v.15 and 16...

Hey All,
Trying to help a friend recover a bricked phone. He tried installing a ROM without taking a backup first and phone was stuck in a bootloop. Suggested he flash a stock ROM but he has no idea what CSC he should be using. We've tried installing a custom ROM but phone is still stuck in bootloop (even after factory reset / EFS clean etc) - suspecting he's got the wrong radio flashed so stock would be where I would normally go, but there's like a million variants on stock.
Any suggestions? Any way we can retrieve CSC once ROM has been overwritten?
Cheers
Owen

Tried a couple of them but suspect without knowing what CSC I need it will take some time to work through them all:
List is here:
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-N900
So far I've tried:
XFE-N900XXUCMK2-20131209123311 -> Stuck on Samsung logo
SER-N900XXUBMI5-20131001102120 -> Refuses to flash
DOR-N900UBUCMK1-20131220172802 -> Goes as far as showing an Orange logo, then sticks on Samsung logo
They take an age to download, so not getting anywhere quickly
Only ty stock mk2 or ml2 roms, all lower ones wont work
hit 'thanks' if i helped you

My phone's box has a label "Samsung Malaysia..." so basically I can know this phone was made for Malaysian region.
Try to look around your box?
Your phone cannot boot into the OS at all? If it can boot so you can install my app Phone INFO from Play Store to check for the region code.

Did you back up your EFS folder before flashing a custom rom on it??
You may very well need to flash a stock rom back on the device. Check your firmware here - http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/

That's because one cannot downgrade.
There is a downgrade guide, but it is for the I9505 only.
So I guess you're stuck with official lollipop roms, or maybe custom KitKat roms.

Wrong!
Because the Marshmallow rom is NOT official firmware.
As I said before, you are stuck with official Lollipop firmware. But you can use any custom roms you like.

No. Kernel is a different thing.
I think it's better for you if you flash a lollipop firmware.
Are you using the original Samsung cable to flash? Tried different USB ports and USB cables?

How should i search for web?
I find the s4 needs the original cable to flash via Odin. The s4 seems to be much more sensitive to USB cables than other phones I have used.

The problem was that he was trying to downgrade, not the cables and USB ports. He actually managed to do it but now his WiFi won't work.
I guess I was making my post as the op was editing his post.
I am not that familiar with the i9515 but I though the 9515 shipped with LP firmware.
