Problems with CSC and Locale... Help? - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hello everyone. I'd like to get a ROM and CSC that allows for updates and also allows Japanese Locale on a Galaxy S7 Edge G935F from Europe. Let me start about how this happened:
I have two devices, one in black and the other in white. First I had the black one, and I thought it was a little defective, so what I did was download any old ROM from the website that as compatible with my device. It turned out great. My friend who speaks Japanese wanted the same phone, since it's such a beaut!, and saw that my device (without me knowing, it didn't have a CSC, see below) and it had Japanese. Based on this, he got one and I have it now in my hand. As soon as I turned it on, there was no Japanese! So I looked at mine, and they're from the same operator / carrier / region. They're both European S7E from Italy TIM.

}
Image with my no CSC, but yes with Japanese.
So then I decided to try a ROM, and it kept a different CSC
So I restored my personal device with Samsung Kies, and it restored EVERYTHING ... Except for the CSC!
Now, I don't have a CSC or Japanese anymore.
How can I change my CSC?
And how can I find a CSC / ROM that has Japanese for my friend, and still allow him to get updates from Samsung?
Thank you very much!

Yes. For long time there were no updates for UAE csc. So even I changed my phone CSC from the original UAE CSC to Indian so that there will be regular updates. But now all of sudden, they started to give latest updates. Its good if they continue like this.
anyone can install this Rom cuz it have all languages
but the weird thing is the changelog still the same as XXDLL4 which is about 3 - 4 month old
or maybe Samsung is trolling us
i just installed the Rom
things i found it new :
1- Opera mini
2- Garmin navigation
changed CSC
my mom gave me this cool Note 2 from Kuwait. I realized that Samsung seems forgotten the UAE csc.. I decided to change the CSC from UAE to Philippines... Now that they given an update to the UAE variant. I rolled back from the original csc

Changing Lollipop CSC

I'm current on the 4.4.2 Stock ROM that came with the phone, using the OPS CSC as that is my carrier.
The ROM is rooted, I have changed the recovery and kernel and am using XPosed for any customizations.
I wish to download the 5.0 ROM, specificially Albe95's rom: Link here
I wish to know if it possible to change the CSC from that ROM to that of the one that is for my carrier. I have extracted all the files from Albe95's rom and have not found a OPS CSC in there.
How would I go about either moving the CSC from my current ROM to Lollipop one?
One of the options I have found where to extract the rom that you download from Sammobile and flash the appropriate files, yet I do not know what files to flash.
The other option is to simply move the files from my current ROM into the one I downloaded and flashed it (picture below). However, as with the above option I do not know how I would do that since the ROM I currently have is only single CSC while the one that Albe95 provides is multi-csc.
Thanks for the help.

[Q] Sprint GS4 CSC

Somewhere in all my flashing/wiping, I seem to have lost my CSC.
When I install Phone INFO and go to the CSC Code tab, it says BTU.
Can anyone tell me how to download and restore the Sprint CSC on my phone?
In particular, I am looking for one that is compatible with CM12.1 (I'm not 100% sure that the CSC is related to the ROM, so that might be irrelevant, but just in case).
Also, is there a specific Bootloader/Modem that you recommend for CM12.1?
Many thanks

CSC is only in Touchwiz, that app is for use with phones on Touchwiz... problem solved, you have no problem. Bootloader and modem (some modems may give you better performance but usually the latest one has the best performance) usually don't matter on AOSP, if you have the latest firmware (NG2) you can't change it anyways.

Same device but different kernel and others

Hi everyone guys,
I can't seem to find another similar thread, so I opened this one.
I will explain what is going on.
One month ago I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S8, it was branded Vodafone, infact I had many apps from them.
Because I am with Three and I was tired of that annoying Vodafone apps, I decided to install a NO BRANDED stock ROM (OFFICIAL).
So I did, but today I compared some specifics with the ones of a friend of mine which has the same phone (NO BRAND - STOCK ROM).
As you can see from the pictures I left: Band Base, Kernel, Build Version and Android Security Patch Level are different.
I also checked the last updates for both of the phones, they are updated at the last versions, although they have different "values".
Those are my s8 infos:

Those are my friend's S8 infos:
Can someone help me with this giving me some detailed info? I'm going mad.
Thank you in advance!

It just takes time for the carriers to release the updates. And with unbranded it takes time for samsung to push the update to everyone. it goes by IMEI.
Nothing to worry about.

Problem with changed IMEI Samsung A20e (SM-A202F/DS)

Hello, I'm new here so please go easy on me
My Samsung A20e (SM-A202F/DS) has got stolen while ago. The cops found the phone in a neighbouring country but it was already tinkered with. After it was returned to me, it had a problem booting. I can't remember the exact error, but I managed to fix the issue by re-flashing the firmware with Odin. Problem is, the phone does not register with my network provider anymore - in other words my SIM card doesn't work with it, I get no telephony or mobile data. After further investigation I discovered that the IMEI of the phone appears to be changed - the ones reported by the About menu does not match the ones printed on the back of the phone itself. Can this be the cause of the problem? Can someone please help?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's the correct one, model, country and everything. Downloaded it from: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a20e/firmware/SM-A202F/BGL/download/A202FXXS3BUC1/1530187
