I just made another thread about this as well, i was not aware that the most recent update caused this, i thought this was how it was from the start.
If the most recent update did cause this, then i guess we just have to wait for the apps to update as well.

Actually this is a marshmallow thing. Nexus have this issue as well. Basically 3rd party app locking the phone is a security issue and fingerprint is not secure enough.[emoji14]

Might be a bad scanner
Yeah. It doesn't show but is there to unlock with the finger. I got a bit confused about that till I figured out a bit later.

Forced stopped fingerprint system app and issue resolved for now

In the process of trying to uninstall/remove all of the useless apps on my new Galaxy s7 edge I found that the "help" application used 20% of the battery since the last charge. The problem is I don't have to option to disable or even force stop it. Has anyone else experienced this, and, if so, has anyone solved it? I hate the thought of losing at least an hour of SOT to a useless application. Thanks.

If we can see that on screenshot, it should be a software issue.
I believe so too, it only appeared once while using the camera. However on my old g4 I use to be able to screenshot screen burn on the screen which was peculiar.
