Noticing this when opening other apps too. Factory reset and same thing ... Guess it's a defective panel ?

Hi everyone,
So recently I have been facing the worst tines of my life while using a phone ...
... My phone has been jus buzzing whenever I plugin a headphone. It is a awful experience and I am not sure why this is happening?
Is any one else facing similar issue?
Any ideas what's the cause? Hardware or software?

Had the same problem, was an app that trigged proximity sensor, even if I had disabled the use of proximity sensor in the app. Uninstalled the app and noise was gone..

Don't know if it is just my handset that is doing it or not but every now and again it will do a random restart with no warning?
Anyone else having this issue.

Same issue with mine as well as the camera failure bug. Sure it's issues Samsung are working on.

Will I liable for a exchange or will it be a software issue that can be resolved?

You should be able to have it replaced. If it keeps doing it and you haven't done anything to your phone like the idiot above *cough*brava27*cough* who rooted and installed xposed then it's likely a hardware problem. In Brava27's case it is software and/or user error.

Still no idea how to replicate it. Seems to happen randomly. I usually have to turn off and on the screen to get it working again.

Strange issue, in thinking it could be the screen protector, or maybe you have all in one gestures enabled or a similar app that allows you to tap on statusbar for something. , or could just be defective. That's all I got. There was an awesome update today for T-Mobile
It fixes screen sensitivity and palm rejection as well as battery and performance upgrades. Its a great update but don't take it if you are gonna want root because they might find a vulnerability on the old software. Or maybe they find it on later software. No one really knows right now. Its up to u but I upgraded. Its worth it to me.

Some guys on Reddit said it could be cerebrus. Status lock messes with it

I've had this issue ever since having this phone where if I have a live wallpaper did end up going back to the default wallpaper after a few hours. I initially thought maybe it was doze but I make sure that the live wallpaper I was using was not optimized.
Anyone else have this issue? And have you found a solution?

You have a live wallpaper option?

Thanks for all the responses so far!
Anyone else want to weigh in?

I use a live wallpaper. No problems here.
I still can't believe no one else has this issue.
This morning I set Origami Live Wallpaper and an hour later (after using the phone frequently) I turned on my phone again and the wallpaper was back to the last static wallpaper I used. It's not just this particular LWP. It happens with all of them.
Happened 3 more times yesterday.

Still happening after a factory reset.
No issues here either. Been using Minima Pro for a while now.
I do have strange, persistent shadow at the top of the screen with a static wallpaper, which really frustrates me .
It's to the point where I'm thinking about contacting Samsung for a replacement. If it was software everyone would have the issue. Not sure if Samsung will do anything though.

if you factory reset still have this problem, thats mean some app you installed has problem, try factory reset->dont install ANY app, just change live wallpaper->wait few days
Randomly my haptic feedback stops and won't come back until I reboot. Anyone else have this issue?
Yes. It's annoying. Don't understand why. Also my apps well randomly not be available. I have to uninstall and reinstall. Super frustrating

Mine all of a sudden went super weak. I have it turned up all the way in the settings. Not sure what's going on.

I feel like Samsung phones are RPG based and they only have a certain amount of points to use so they take the IR Blaster and add the SD slot back, they add water resistance and locked the boot loader. Why can't they just give without taking?

This happens to me as well. Is this a software issue? I have an international version, though.
