Hi guys, i have just a noob question. I read that if you do a lot of wipe cache or reset or event default settings reset, the phone can experience hardware problems in a long term. Is that true?

hello guys, i'm going to buy a new phone in 2 days. There are 2 options of S6 edge+ in my country. SM-G928A and SM-G928C. The 928A costs 520$ and 928C costs 650$. Seller sad that you can install russian language to 928C but it wont work in 928A, except this there is no differences between this devices. İ wanted to know what kind of differences between this devices except installing and using another languages? When bootloader will be unlocked, can we install another languages like russian, turkish etc. when bootloader will be unlocked? thanks, have a nice day :fingers-crossed:

Thanks for answering. You know root is not important for me because I'm kind of old-style that's why it plays very small role in my android life. You say except root there is no differences, thanks again :good:
Sorry,but i don't understand ...It's possible flash another firmware?

There is a huge difference the bootloader on the G928A is locked tight so there's no modifications to be done no other firmware that can be flashed via Odin other than stock tar for the G928A.
You asked if and when the bootloader on G928A will be unlocked and I said it won't the G928A is an AT&T branded device. Whereas the G928C is an international device with an unlockable bootloader that's why I sold my AT&T branded device and bought the international G928C.

Prove you can root it publicly without PM
G928A has a locked down bootloader
I've been reading people can root certain devices but are charging money for root.
Personally I think it's B.S.
How are you rooting people's devices remotely?
I wouldn't allow anyone to touch my device remotely at all.
If you say you can do this and are putting it out publicly on XDA why haven't you claimed the bounty???

I don't want money to root a phone. If you have a G928A you want rooted then I'll root it for you. It is a private file between me and my repair friends, and we aren't leaking it. It will leak from other sources I'm sure in the upcoming months. Just not from us =P

Download stock from here, but remember, since you are on FD, you manually have to set apn for Sim, to get network on both cards.
I typed in my baseband version (G930FXXU1APB6) for may SM_G930FD and I see Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.... What should I do
Will OTA:s work as normal (before rooting), when doing a complete factory reset back to STOCK?
yes they will work just fine when returning back to stock unrooted firmware.

Hi,
So basically I'm not new to rooting, custom ROMs/Kernels etc but this is the first Samsung device that I will be doing it to. I'm used to Nexus devices which are very straightforward. As I understand it Samsung's can be complicated! I also have the Exynos version SM-G935F. So what is the best way to go about it all? What's the best way of backing up so when I set it up again I can save a bit of time (if possible)? Also having the Exynos version, I understand some ROMs/Kernels won't work? I also sincerely apologise if this is already all explained somewhere, I did have a quick look through the guides but couldn't find anything! Thank you for your help.

Ok thanks. Anything I can do to backup my phone to make it a bit easier when I set it up again or do I just have to completely start from scratch? And what's a recommended ROM?? I'm guessing a TW based one? Thanks.
