I tried to install CM13.1 snapshot when i was on kitkat stock and then screen would go blue for a split of a second and reboot. That happened on the Mi Logo screen. It would keep rebooting forever. I tried a lot of things but no custom rom could be installed. Not even custom recoveries are working, except twrp 3.0. I dont know what to do anymore. I even tried changing file system and when i change data to exfat or fat, it doesnt get stuck on the mi logo screen, but instead, it says encryption error and forces me to restart the phone, and it appears again once it restarts, thus making me restart again and again. Any idea what could be causing this? Stock rom installs just fine via fastboot...
It is due to lollipop bootloader. You will have to restore KitKat firmware from kuma's drive.size is about 28mb. Search the comments in main thread for exact solution.
@Perseus This thread should go to q and ans section.......

Just restore to kitkat via fastboot, or you can flash kumajaya's kitkat firmware via twrp 3.0.0 by kumajaya. You can download kuma's firmware in his gdrive. Find it at cm13 thread.

hi, for the first, kuma's kitkat firmware is not fleshable zip via recovery, files must be flashed via fastboot one by one (but I have no experience with that)
And my progress is:
Download original developer kitkat miui rom, i used 6.3.24. (in my case czech rom from miui.cz, rom have twrp and gp, but Chinese should suffice, you need firmware only)
restart (to recovery)
flash rom via recovery (if status 7 then flash kuma's twrp 3.0.0-0 recovery (work for me) via recovery or flashify )
now should be on the phone KitKat firmware
flash rom that you need.
Did you guys fix this ?
I downloaded "Redmi 2 Global Stable(Kitkat) V7.2.1.0.KHJMIDA " rom from miui.com .. I got an Error 7, it said it's supported only for HM2014811 and my device is HM2014818 .. I don't have any OS on my phone right now.. Can anyone tell me how to flash the firmare for kitkat n where to find them ?
Thank you

Yes , just flash in recovery
It wont kill the already installed dual-recovery, will it?
First things first : thank you!
Nevertheless, I have a question. Do I just have to flash the zip file under recovery, or flash the zip file then the other file (ftf) in flashtool ?
Moreover, which recovery is installed? Or will it keep the already installed one (dual recovery coming with my installed 5.0)?

Yup, we need more information.
In the youtube link, it sais flash either one you like, FTF or ZIP, but thats contrary to what we normally do.
Usually we flash the SONY FTF and then overwrite part of its code with a rooted .zip file, installed via recovery.
Anyway, awaiting more input before i shoot the zip into my phone.
I flash with dual recovery, my bootloader is locked and my z1 is blicked, I cant into flashmode or reset, and led don't turn on. Help please any method to return to live my z1 thanks :3
can't mount system as rw
can anyone confirm this?
Flashed the non-Rooted FTF in flashtool, so running 5.1.1 unrooted. Can't root via flashtool as it always fails, how do you install a custom recovery when running 5.1.1 so I can install the pre-rooted version?
Cheers
I solve the hard brick, I follow the next steps http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2646405 , and I try install again but I got same result, and again I did test point and instal stock firmware.

Has someone successfully flashed this ROM with only the zip, and kept root and recovery without having to flash SuperSU and NUT recovery before rebooting?

My other question is: I am currently charging. Did all of you lose the "estimated time to full charge: xx h:xx min" on the lockscreen or is it just me;
Stimated time to full charge is lost in 5.1.1?

Hi members.
As the title says i created a flashable zip.
I did not test the zip yet. No errors occurred during creation.
I used
XZDualRecovery locked bootloaders v 2.8.22
SuperSU Beta v 2.52
Stock C6903 Customized DE 1277-0154 14.6.A.1.216 R2D
Everybody who is downloading the zip should know what he has to do!
It would be helpfull if anybody who has downloaded and flashed the zip could confirm that it is working or not.

I don't know what's the problem. I used the zip I created from my computer.
I didn't download the zip from Google Drive. So I hope the upload I did to Google Drive isn't corrupt.
Normally this zip should work. I hadn't any problems.
Then I think there's something wrong with the downloaded zip. Indeed everything is OK for me during the flash with TWRP (no visible error) but when it reboots, I'm still on. 368...
For me it's working. But I tried first the Indian version, I made a clean installation from that, so I don't know if coming from previous versions it would work...

I was on stock (.368)
I just downloaded and flashed your zip
I tried two methods:
Number 1:
-Wiped everything and installed your zip, went into bootloop
Number 2:
- reflashed stock (.368) and then flashed your zip, only this time i left out the system etc. And only wiped the cache and dalvik
---------- Post added at 05:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:53 AM ----------
The guy who gave us the indian ftf didn't bother mentioning that it was for c6902, no radios working on that one but flashing was perfect and i did achieve the (.216) firmware
That's strange. I am sorry for the circumstances users are getting using this zip.
I had no problems going from 368 to 216. But I used the zip I created from my computer and not the one from Google drive.
I am on c6906. Can I go into recovery, do a full wipe and then just flash this?
No don't do that. This zip doesn't flash the new build anyway. Don't you want to upload it again?

Some firmware is lost on this process. You can do a full wipe (less internal) flash full oxygen os 2.2.0, signed zip from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/general/rom-mirrors-official-oxygen-os-roms-ota-t3209863, after this flash your backup, if don't work yet, try flash this oxygen modem https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9IqSEI0OM37VGc4WWhJRGxkek0/view?usp=docslist_api and reboot, if don't work, cameback and we will try another thing

To those guys who wiped out their huawei y625-U32 stock firmware with T.W.R.P recovery or sim network ;can get their phone back.
Steps -
1)If u still have T.W.R.P,
Download U32 stock recovery from here and flash it.
Get the help of flashify.apk if u lost the recovery and cant flash a img file.
Recovery.img U32
And get the stock rom from here
Extract that rom.
Make a folder in memory card and name it 'dload'
put your update.app in dload folder.
Go to U32 stock recovery.
It will show something like U32-V100.......B105
Now hit apply update from sd card
wait
done
It will take a while.

Hi, I'm new to Lenovo A6000. I have a relative that has a softbricked A6000. I wiped the phone via stock recovery, and no problems afterwards.
I wanted to flash custom ROMs for my relatives A6000, but I can't seem to flash the latest custom recovery (TWRP). It always fails. Never boots to recovery. I did some research here and there by reading in XDA and found some interesting things.
The question is:
What is the device that I'm using? How do I find out what it is? is it WT86518 or WT86528?
The phone's running on Stock KK ROM Kraft S037, Is there a problem on flashing custom recovery via fastboot when using this version of stockrom? Or there's something else wrong? Should I update it via OTA then try flashing it or is there an easier way of flashing it?
It's the old 2015 A6000. With 1 GB RAM and 8 GB ROM.
I'm pretty familiar with fastboot commands, so it's just weird that I can't flash TWRP in it. I even can't hotboot it (fastboot boot blabla.img).
Thanks before, please do reply.

Thanks for the reply, mate! Thanks for the links too! But I'd prefer using TWRP than CWM. So what do I have to do to be able to use TWRP? Do I have to update stock rom to Lollipop first? Or does it mean TWRP isn't compatible at all?

One more question, do I have to like.. update the stock rom to lollipop or can I just use the 'Kitkat-lolipop firmware base switcher for a6000' method by @rahulsnair ? Thanks a lot mate for the info! :good:
*PS. I tried that version of TWRP firsthand before I posted this thread, so it means what made TWRP incompatible was because of the HH itself was still on old KK right?

Yeah exactly. Flash the firmware base switcher (for A6000 by rahulsnair and for A6000plus by me, sasukay).
Steps:
0. Flash the cwm or twrp 2.6.x (i guess) which works on KK
1. Then boot into custom recovery you've installed.
2. Then flash the firmware base switcher.
3. Now you can flash the latest twrp using fastboot which is meant for Lollipop and newer versions.

Thanks for the reply sasukay! Yeah! I had a hunch that the latest TWRP didn't boot was because of stock KK! I consulted to a friend that was using A6000 Plus before I did all of this, he told me he was on stock 'LP' when he flashed latest TWRP and he didn't tell me (or more like he didn't know) that the A6000 has to be on LP before flashing latest TWRP. Hope nothing goes wrong now. Wish me luck! :good: :highfive: :fingers-crossed:
