I have flashed it on vodafone germany branded, unlocked. Seems great so far, no more heating, battery drain...

This killed my lte option. I've reloaded the apn several times and lte isn't an option in the preferences any more.
OK after seeing the other thread they apparently just changed the icon to 4G only. Weird.

In Europ we use it under the LTE
Rest of the World say 4G

Does this offer any battery performance increase?

Hi i have a Z2 for developers, i'm Italian. Firmware is 4.4.1 and it crash many times and videos doesn't play.
Can i mount this firmware? How can i do that? It is easy? will in future Pc Companion upgrade my firmware by itself?

Use Flashtool, latest one. Download latest firmware (a.2.69) and flash it.

Does flashing this wipe your device? Can it also be flashed if your bootloader is currently locked, since it is official firmware i presume it can be flashed?

I've flashed it over .55 on a UK , only issue is the movies I've downloaded are no longer playable. Yes it does wipe your device and no it does not need bootloader unlocked.

Yes but why would you? There is a generic 55 UK ftf in the forum. Users in that thread have been reporting that it is upgradeable to 69 via PC Companion.

I Just Updated latest firmware for Indian Region SM-G925I , G925IDVU3DOK9 - PDA. and it brings HD quality calling to SM-G925I. It also improves the battery life as well.

Downloading....Will let out what all has improved? If at all!

I've had exactly the same problem! You can stop the drain if you go to . . .
settings > mobile data > click on the three dot menu at top right > mobile networks > network mode. . . then change from GSM/WCDMA/ LTE auto to GSM/WCDMA auto and that will stop the battery drain.
My cell standby has gone from using 56 percent of the battery to 2 percent since changing this.
Hope this helps! Hopefully three will fix this bug when they release marshmallow. . . if they ever do.

Probably, as they might try and say that the bootloop could be due to the 'custom' firmware. Realistically, they shouldn't though.

Just and update from me that only now this update went live to Greek market from Samsung will test and let you know results.... until now the 5.1.1 working great but not good battery life

After update backup your phone and from recovery empty cache and do factory reset. That helped me for battery improvement.
