Hi i saw several posts on the internet with the jolla launcher in alpha beta stages..doing a google search there are the apks all over ..i installed it n ran it n it force closed on my tmo s5 ..can someone port it to work for our samsung s5 phones?

Don't worry much, wait at least release a beta version. Currently alfa-launcher is interesting and original, but its practical value is small.

I've had exactly the same problem! You can stop the drain if you go to . . .
settings > mobile data > click on the three dot menu at top right > mobile networks > network mode. . . then change from GSM/WCDMA/ LTE auto to GSM/WCDMA auto and that will stop the battery drain.
My cell standby has gone from using 56 percent of the battery to 2 percent since changing this.
Hope this helps! Hopefully three will fix this bug when they release marshmallow. . . if they ever do.

Probably, as they might try and say that the bootloop could be due to the 'custom' firmware. Realistically, they shouldn't though.

FYI you should always cover the middle line under "Service provider SW ver." Because thats your serial number (starts with R).

Got the OTA Update today TMobile US Snapdragon

I am on AT&T and haven't been forced to update to the September update yet.

I got the update 7 on Verizon this morning, no idea what it includes but it was waiting for me this am.
