^ I got the video from the review thread and wanted to start a separate discussion since the review threat isn't for conversing. Anyways, I watched the video and was impressed with the split screen option, but then completely wowed by the tv antennae and being able to watch live tv. Will the American variants come with the antenna as well? If not, will the International version be compatible with T-Mobile's HSPA+ network and the US's TV channels?

I'm pretty sure they are only available in Korea

If that's really the case, is the Korean version compatible with American TV airwaves and with T-Mobile's HSPA+ network?

Nope.
I can confirm that the American Galaxy Note II will absolutely NOT have the TV antenna. As a matter of fact, every Galaxy (S, SII, SII HD, SIII, Note) ever made released in Korea has a TV antenna. Even in Korea, the TV broadcast work on different technologies among the 3 different carriers LG, SK, KT so just imagine the difficulties and the impossibilities of getting it working in the US.

Ever since the digital ATSC changeover I've been waiting for a smartphone to come out with a basic antenna and ATSC tuner. There is no excuse to not include it on ph/tablets, in particular. The manufacturers don't seem to agree.

In order to prevent confusion and misunderstandings, PLEASE ONLY list the watches you have personally tested for and successfully connected to the 1900Mhz WCDMA [HSPA(+)] frequency band and carrier used. If you're not sure how to do this, feel free to PM me.:good:
The current ones I've tested using Straight Talk-ATT and AT&T SIMs:
ZGPAX S8, S99, S6 (+their clones)
FINOW Q1
(beware of DooGee S1, almost all vendors and OEM list 1900Mhz support. Many have been burned on this)
Great to know that S99 3g works on AT&T. Have been thinking about getting one.
Been trying to get info on 3g watches that work with USA carriers without success so thanks for opening this thread. Thanks for this. If not for the sim enabled phone/ 3g feature i don't see the appeal for these watches when compared to Android Wear devices. Of course these are a bit cheaper but then again these are not very refined (gps does not work well, battery does not last etc.) and the software is not polished.
Hope this thread can get stickied.
I've begun looking at Android smartwatches since the heart rate monitor chip on my bluetooth tethering watch (Zeblaze Crystal) failed. During one of my many searches, I ran across this post from No. 1 laying out it's fairly extensive list of Android smartwaches that will come out this year and thought people in this forum might be interested. There will be an update to the D5--the D5 Pro, which will have a borderless bezel. For those who live in countries that have 4G service using the same radio bands as China, the D10 will be 4G. I'm more interested in the D8, the sporty version of D7, with that 500 mAH battery.

I love my Kospet Prime S. BUT....Kospet watches are not compatible with the Verizon network, Sprint only offers data plans but no talk or text and this watch is unable to make bluetooth calls.
Good luck getting a,refund Kospet makes the purchaser cover the postal costs.... to China.
