F1 Smartwatch, MTK6260A, Need some help please if you don't mind... - Other SmartWatches

Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read my post, this is my first post, so please forgive me if I make any mistakes.
The PreLoader Driver for me is not working, at all. I run Windows 8.1.
Now, I've read to install it this way and that, and if you have a yellow exclamation point under device manager, I should be ok.
To run flashtools to make a backup of my firmware, I need a scatter file and the software doesn't allow you to do much of anything unless you select this file.
Fine, so I need to make my own scatter file, so I have the MTK Droid tools to make my scatter file.
Because my drivers don't work, I can't my scatter file and I cannot continue forward with this.
MTK Modem, Debug and Port drivers are all installed and fine and working correctly.
The Preloader and DA USB VCOM port drivers do not work for me.
Can anyone offer some kind of guidance? Suggestions? Driver issues you had and got working?
If I can get my firmware backed up I'll be more than happy to share and try to help tweak and such!
Thanks again for your help!

Anyone? Someone?

Please does anyone have the stock ROM file for apro q18 smart watch

Same problems too

Install drivers for USB devices on O2 Flame

Hi,
Have anyone tried installing drivers for USB devices on O2 flame, like USB to serial converter etc. I was trying to do this and it fails. I want to use my USB to serial converter to connect to the Flame's OTG port. I tried to install the FTDI driver according to the procedure given. but O2 flame does'nt allow to install any driver. I am really . Trying this for quite a long time.
Anyone had a success in doing this, will appreciate your help.
Best regards,
Manas.
Can you give us a link to your drivers. Without that we will not be able to help you.

I downloaded the driver from this link http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
Its not only this driver. In the process to evaluate if the Flame supports installation of new USB driver. I found that it is not allowing. Not even the DLLMain is called.
Done. This is not that easy to though.
how? really intrested... trying to install on toshiba g900
Install a USB driver on Flame
Sorry I was not in touch with this forum for a long time.
For this the first step is to do the registry setting correctly:
HKLM/DRIVERS/USB/LOADCLIENTS
HKLM/DRIVERS/USB/...
Dont forget to mention the index and the prefix values.
the dll must be placed in the /windows folder
Important: Build the driver project with the windows ce version 4.2.

ADB Drivers for XP

Searched everywhere... couldn't find anything.
The drivers for ADB must be different for windows xp... no? When trying to use the the .inf file for the drivers from the package in the windows vista/7 thread, I get the following message:
The specified location does not contain information about your hardware

I looked around for a different XP driver package but couldn't find one. Everythings up and running great on my home box running windows 7... but I'd like to get all set up here at work on the XP box as well.
Any help much appreciated. Thanks!
As far as I know Moto only has 2 sets of drivers tha twork on any version of windows. You jus thave to make sure you have the right set depensing on the OS. They have them separarte at 32bit or 64bit.
Anywhoo I have used both sets from this link and have no trouble. Reason I say that is at work my comp is still XP, but at home the laptop is Win7 64bit
http://www.motorola.com/Support/US-...tware_and_Drivers/USB-and-PC-Charging-Drivers
sadly... same result with those drivers. get the following message when trying to use the .inf files with those packages:

Don't try using the *.inf. Install the app, then go to programs in XP and run the Moto driver installation to clean, then clean and reinstall and you should be good to go. Personally in all my experience I've never had good luck pointing to the *.inf
thanks for the info. tried that and again... no dice. it sucks, but i guess it's not a huge deal. i can adb in from my win7 box no problem. would just be nice to know i could do it from this xp box as well.
oh well! thanks anyway for trying to help though!
This just makes no sense. Be tha tas it may try this link out and grab the drivers they have posted there and see if it does the trick.

ya... i agree. i could see the drivers not working, but the message saying that the file doesn't even have info on my device is just weird.
the drivers in that post are the first ones i tried. they worked great on my win7 box at home... but same message here on the XP box.
yea it is odd t osay the least. and the even more weird part is I have 2 comps setup with the same OS's you have and don't have the trouble. there has got to be something corrupted or casuing the XP box to not work right for whatever reason.
One suggestion I'd have is to compeltely uninstall the drivers. then grab a copy od CCleaner which is free mind you and run the registry scan to clear up unneeded crap left behind. I'd run it a couple of times until nothing else shows up on the list. Once done reboot the comp and then try the drivers again and see what you get. Ccleaner does a grea tjob of cleaning up the registry and I've used it many times for friends trying to clean things up for them when they have issues.

have sdk installed already. i was running my dinc off of the XP box before i got the DX... so sdk is already installed and ready to go.
i'll try a full driver clean-out tomorrow (if i have time) and see if that might work. it's just odd that the .inf file isn't registering with windows as being associated with the phone. seems to me that if it was a problem with an already installed driver, the new driver just wouldn't work after installed. the problem here is that i can't even get XP to accept the .inf file as one that works with the phone.
anyway... will play around with it tomorrow as time permits (after all... the xp box is my work machine. lol).
thanks gents for the input.
I had the same issue with my work pc which is xp pro. If you pm me ill give you the process to fix your problem when I get into work tomorrow. -Insta

Worked for me too. You're a rock star. Thanks a ton for the help!!
FYI for others... the hardware ID's change for each of the USB connection modes. I just saved as two separate .inf files... one for charge only and one for mass storage mode.
Anyway, awesome instructions. Thanks again!
Insta. Can I be the father of your children? I love you that much..... haha!
Ok...that was freakin amazing!!!! I was busting my head all day at work trying to figure out why it wouldnt work.
Thanks so much!!
Also wanted to add my thanks, worked for me too.

Yotaphone 2 drivers

Hi, where can I find the correct drivers for Yotaphone 2? I tried the driver that comes with the flasher tool, but somehow it does not install (yes, I right-clicked on the INF file and selected Install, but nothing happened after that)
Thanks in advance for the help!
Right clicking the INF file and selecting install most of the time doesn't yield any results on screen. It is a silent install. You can check if they are installed by comparing the size of the installed androidusb.sys in C:\Windows\System32\drivers with the size in the AMD64 and i386 folders in the yotaflasher folder. It is either 31kb (AMD64) or 26kb (i386).
Drivers
Thanks for the reply.
I checked the system folder on my PC, and the drivers were not installed. Somehow clicking on "Install" for the INF file does nothing
Is there some other way to install the drivers? Can I simply copy the driver files to the system folder

Hi, does anyone have a suggestion to install the drivers? I am on Windows 10

You can try installing the default Google drivers. You can find everything you need in this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
You use device manager to install " legacy drivers" and "have disk" , it is mentioned several times here including the one above.
Drivers
Hi, I really appreciate the replies and patience with this
I already tried that but I get the message:
The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the device contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems
What do I need to do?
These worked for me:
http://adbdriver.com/downloads/
Thanks, sonof.
I tried the installer from the link you gave.
Somehow it is not showing any detected device at all.
How do I get it to detect my phone in order to install the driver?
Did you solve it? I have the same problem, can't see the device...

[HOW TO] Recover HARD BRICKED Nokia X2 : DOESN'T TURN ON, NO VIBRATION, NO LIGHT

So, Guys. Myself thought of writing this thread so that you can prevent yourselves from entering into danger as well as get rid of it even if you enter by mistake.
As you all know that, we are currently facing an issue of SIM offline, myself got into the trouble (as per me, when i insert a sim in sim 1, device recognizes the network provider but there is no signal. sim 2 is fine) and inorder to rectify that issue, i tried all possible ways like deleting IMEI and rewriting it, changing modem etc.
But nothing worked and so thought of using NOKIA CARE SUIT (NCS) >> Product Support Tool For Store 5
& change the firmware to Nokia X2DS RM-1013 059V782 v2.1.0.13 which was the biggest mistake which i ever committed and it resulted in hard brick.
I suggest everyone not to flash 2.1.0.13 version please
In my case, i was not even able to use the volume buttons and power button inorder to get to bootloader or custom recovery. Trust me, i'm not a noob but i do know the situation in which i'm and searched everywhere and took help of lots of guys and finally found the solution to it.
Just follow these steps:
A. Requirements:
1. Nokia Firmware - Thanks to Firmware27
2. QPST_2.7.422
3. QDLoader HS-USB Driver
B. Procedure:
1. Extract Requirement - 1, 2, 3 separately.
2. Now Install requirement - 2 & in Requirement - 3, just install Setup
3. Now connect USB to NOKIA X2 & Laptop/PC
4. Click on the start menu and type QFIL in search box and open it.
5. Under "SELECT PROGRAMMER", click on the browse button and
select "rm1013_2.1.0.13_user_prog_emmc_firehose_8x10. mbn" from the Requirement - 1
6. Under "DOWLOAD", you will find "LOAD XML" and now click on that and a window will appear infront you :silly:
7. Now in the window, type *.xml in the file name so that the xml files will show up.
8. Now select "rm1013_2.1.0.12_059V787_001_rawprogram_unsparse_ui"
9. Soon another window will show up automatically and now type *.xml in the file name so that the xml files will show up.
10. Now select "P12026702dpi600_label_layout"
11. Now Click on the "DOWNLOAD" just button below the Load XML button.
- Make sure your device is connected to the PC/lappy through cable :silly:
Everything is done. Now sit back and Relax.
Your NOKIA X2 will bootup and it looks exactly like device when you purchased except the scratches and all
Note:
I'm not responsible if your device is bricked. Ofcourse if you are doing this, it means that your device might have already been bricked and i guess there is no other way except this to make it right
This works with all the snapdragon chipset devices.
