I had the same trouble when i was trying to get root access, it ended up being that i was using the wrong drivers. I uninstalled all the drivers i had and started from scratch.
Use Ubuntu to get it work. Drivers under Windows are crap and I tried Xp, Seven 7 and all the possible drivers. Never worked until I installed Linux...

Hello everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read my post, this is my first post, so please forgive me if I make any mistakes.
The PreLoader Driver for me is not working, at all. I run Windows 8.1.
Now, I've read to install it this way and that, and if you have a yellow exclamation point under device manager, I should be ok.
To run flashtools to make a backup of my firmware, I need a scatter file and the software doesn't allow you to do much of anything unless you select this file.
Fine, so I need to make my own scatter file, so I have the MTK Droid tools to make my scatter file.
Because my drivers don't work, I can't my scatter file and I cannot continue forward with this.
MTK Modem, Debug and Port drivers are all installed and fine and working correctly.
The Preloader and DA USB VCOM port drivers do not work for me.
Can anyone offer some kind of guidance? Suggestions? Driver issues you had and got working?
If I can get my firmware backed up I'll be more than happy to share and try to help tweak and such!
Thanks again for your help!
Anyone? Someone?
Please does anyone have the stock ROM file for apro q18 smart watch

I'm having the same issues too
Hello,
I am a noob in android and windows flashing. So i have only some basic knowledge about android flashing.
I have a Nokia Lumia 535 OS win10. I want to know how to unlock its bootloader and install custom roms in it.I also want to know how to enable usb debugging in my device because its not detected by the adb devices command in cmd when i connect my device to the pc.And also when i connect it using wconnect.exe usb(using a usb cable) and after I enter the pairing key I always get an error which says"Bootstrapping the device(error code 8) so i am not able to connect it to the pc install android apps on it.(I have already downloaded the required files and extracted in into a folder and I have already changed the cmd directory to that folder).I have searched the forum but I did not find anywhere how to fix this error code 8,i,i,bootstrapping the device.
Any help would be appreciated.
Many Many Thanx in advance.
i think Microsoft had stooped working on android in there lumias phone.so lets wait maybe in the next update they will make an easy method to make android apps working on lumias phone with win10.
Hi, where can I find the correct drivers for Yotaphone 2? I tried the driver that comes with the flasher tool, but somehow it does not install (yes, I right-clicked on the INF file and selected Install, but nothing happened after that)
Thanks in advance for the help!
Right clicking the INF file and selecting install most of the time doesn't yield any results on screen. It is a silent install. You can check if they are installed by comparing the size of the installed androidusb.sys in C:\Windows\System32\drivers with the size in the AMD64 and i386 folders in the yotaflasher folder. It is either 31kb (AMD64) or 26kb (i386).
Drivers
Thanks for the reply.
I checked the system folder on my PC, and the drivers were not installed. Somehow clicking on "Install" for the INF file does nothing
Is there some other way to install the drivers? Can I simply copy the driver files to the system folder

Hi, does anyone have a suggestion to install the drivers? I am on Windows 10

You can try installing the default Google drivers. You can find everything you need in this thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
You use device manager to install " legacy drivers" and "have disk" , it is mentioned several times here including the one above.
Drivers
Hi, I really appreciate the replies and patience with this
I already tried that but I get the message:
The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the device contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems
What do I need to do?
These worked for me:
http://adbdriver.com/downloads/
Thanks, sonof.
I tried the installer from the link you gave.
Somehow it is not showing any detected device at all.
How do I get it to detect my phone in order to install the driver?
Did you solve it? I have the same problem, can't see the device...
