Brick Help - Stock Sprint ROM - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
As fate would have it, the day of me getting my new G5, my G2 went in to a boot loop before I could transfer my data.
I'm desperate to get the data back if possible. Below are the details.
Phone went in to boot loop, then would not turn on. I have tried periodically to turn on the phone, but it will not boot. It will loop at the LG screen and occasionally the Sprint screen. It intermittently charges when connected to power. Today, I hooked up it up to a PC and powered on and got the Demigod screen. Loaded dload mode, but the drivers didn't install. On reboot I got the LG screen with a security error and now it won't power up again.
Any suggestions? Seems like it may be hardware related.

Doesn't TWRP have to been installed when rooting a device? This device is not rooted.

[Q] LG G2 (vs980) BLACK SCREEN AFTER LG LOGO????

Well im kinda new to the rooting thing but I believe my phone was only soft rooted. I was trying to install twrp but I got a dead android with a explanation mark or it would go to a black screen after the lg logo.i didn't know I was soft rooted when I was trying this. so after awhile I gave up. my phone still booted normally without trying to go into recovery. recently an update for android came out ( kitkat 4.4.2) so I decided to see if it would work. it restarted the phone to install the update and it got stuck in fastboot mode. I read somewhere you can install twrp from fastboot, so I tried to fix it and now it gets stuck on a black screen after the lg logo. Ive been searching for a solution for over a week and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a Verizon lg g2 vs980 with the stock rom if that helps...
Oh and when I plug my phone in to my pc while the black screen is on drive letters F though T pop up and the F drive has an image folder in it with random files
Similar issue... no LG logo at all
I was successful in rooting then attempted to install TWRP. The phone turned off then turned on with the "android open stomach and !" icon... it shut off a few mins later.
Now, all I get is the buzz when you power it on and a black screen. Im not able to enter the recovery mode using any combination of buttons. I cant even see the LG logo!
LG Mobile Support Tool nor my computer will even recognize the device. Am I truly bricked beyond repair?

GS4 wont boot

Heres what happened, It was fine then the phone froze so i took the battery out and put it back in.
upon putting the battery back in the phone vibrates then the gs4 logo comes up the nothing will not boot any farther everytime, plus it wont let me get into recovery mode nor will it connect to me pc.
is this fixable or im a screwed?

flash stock firmware via oden...good luck

Probably bricked LG G2 running SlimSaber

So basically this rom is awesome but it had only one problem. When I plugged my phone in the charger while it was turned off, it bootlooped until I restarted with the cable off. It was no big deal and nothing bad ever came out of it.
Yesterday my batter ran out while I was asleep and when I woke up it was already turned off. I, absentmindly, tried to turn it on, LG Logo, off again. Did it one more time, nothing happened, realized it's out of battery. Plugged in charger, try to turn it off/on, usual bootloop happens. Say ok and proceed with what I always did, phone gets past LG Logo, goes into SlimLP boot animation and for the first it has just stayed there. No restarts, just endless loading. Longest i Left it on to load was about 45 minutes. Never got back on.
Apart from that, I think that for some reason my recovery got uninstalled somehow, by itself, a few weeks ago. I only noticed this because before, when I wanted to get into recovery, I pressed the usual buttons and it went straight into TWRP. Now the same buttons take me to the "Factory reset screen". I know that everyone says to just go ahead and press power, but I am afraid, since I am not sure if TWRP is still functioning. This happened to me another time on the same phone, and when I confirmed the factory reset, it factory resetted.
My problem here is that I want to get my music and photos. I'm only able to enter that factory reset screen and download mode. Can I "flash" twrp safely from download mode? Should I use Flash Tool 2014 and Normal flash(which says it keeps the data) a stock g2 rom? Can I mount my phone to the computer in download mode to copy my files? I want the most risk-free approach.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, first If you can enter download mode I think you can flash kdz (Kitkat) file to stock using Flash Tool 2014. But I had this problem once and the keep data flashing didn't work (stucked at 50%), I ended up flashed it with other option (erased all data).
2. You can try the "Factory reset" nice and easy.
I think you can't see files on the device unless you enter Twrp.
It's wise to backup your phone on the computer montly or so, thank you.
I went ahead and nuked my download mode using the SRK tools. Then got access to fastboot, through which I booted to twrp and then I could move my files. All's fine, flashed my ROM again and it's going better than ever.

LG G2 D802 No recovery/ No Donwload Mode/ No Fastboot

Hi Guys,
I got my G2 back from my brother who have not using it for a while.
1st day it was working. I plan to install Lineage or custom ROM today...thats when the issue start:
1: it wont go to recovery mode. Even thou I have rooted and install latest TWRP it will only boot to Hardware control key screen, only this screen and wont boot to the OS it will be stuck on LG logo forever....
2: tried to go to Download mode....the same It will go to the same hardware control key only....
3: when I plug in to my PC it wont turn off, keep on restarting after I press the power button for a while.... only if no cable connected I can totally turn it off...
For a noob like me....looks like my G2 D802 is brick :crying: ...any suggestion?
PS: windows detect it( As below picture ), off at all when I plug in AC.....It Will just show the LG logo and the LED just flashing non stop until I pull out the cable and turn it off...
This is what shown on the laptop No Disk1/2/3/4/5 of sort showing on the Device Manager and on the phone each time I try to go recovery or download mode belowh happen:

https://flic.kr/p/2bs67ne
Update 1: I found out why the phone was brick. Seems like my Brother ask his friend to install Lineage 15.1 on the it. After everything is verified ok. He wipe and try to flash the rom in TWRP but.....it failed and suddenly just freeze and turn off the screen. Maybe bad ROM download or some step miss....so now the Phone has NO OS and would not boot to anything only the Hardware Key Management....that's all....help? Need the phone as 2nd phone for company lines....dont wanna take the iPhone 6 from my boss....
help?

S10+ keeps restarting, doesn't even go past Samsung logo

As said in the title, it's in a permanent loop of trying to turn on, showing the unsafe bootloader warning, getting to the Samsung logo, and then shutting off and trying again, all on it's own. I tried first by using the usual, but it won't go into bootloader, nor recovery mode. When that failed, I let it keep going at it until the battery was empty, and tried then. It still started the loop, but then it ended because it didn't have enough battery to continue and shut off. After that, I tried connecting it to the computer, but the moment I got the USB in, the phone tried to turn on, and started the loop, again. Even just connecting it to the charger, it tried getting on again.
Can you get into download mode? If so, just use ODIN to reflash the stock firmware. That should fix it.
