Redmi note 3g hard brick fix

i accidentally use the format all+download option in sp tools and flashed the bootloader. now whenever i try to do anything it gives me this error. pls help
-phone will not boot
-no charging led when plugged in
-phone is detected when i plug into pc

just download a new recovery rom (the miui 7 ones) and flash it through spflash tools it worked for me:good:

i need ur help. My Redmi note 3g (Mediatek - Global rom) was stuck up at logo. When i tried flashing it using SP flash tool , i got error that "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded". Then i have seen some youtube videos and read forums . As per their instruction i have first forrmated using "Auto Format flash" and then did "Format all+ Download" . Now my phone is not starting.
No fastboot, no charging , No recoery mode. Only i am able to run same process again.
I am average user so dont know much about such process.. Can you guys plz help me what to do?

Jalsa...i have the same problem as you. Was using the phone when all of a sudden the system files started crashing one by one. Showing "unfortunately android.xxxxx.xxx has stopped working....bla...bla...bla". Tried to reboot but stuck at mi logo. tried again, screen went blank, no mi logo. tried doing flash with download only option, successful but still phone blank upon boot up. tried format and download and phone totally dead. no charging nothing. Tried to flash again and each time successful but still cant turn phone on and no charging led. Hope someone can reply with a solution.

searched almost 100 threads and even MI has no solution for it i guess coz once you format and download redmi note 3g through SP Flash phone is dead...Its realy strange MI is least interested in solving this bug and its approach is quite visible that they are only interested in launching new handsets and flash sales...Redmi note 3g is history so its users dont deserve any support...this is what am feeling for now

ok, so did anyone get any results ??? i dont think so as the same happened with lakhs of people say around 1,78,000 people, even i tried everything from drivers to SP Flash Tools, to Fastboot ROM, and yes it did gave that green tick mark as well, but when you boot you are struck at Mi Logo everytime, its basically a bug generated and distributed by Mi itself through its updates to get rid of old phones and to compel buyers to buy a news phone, i am still researching on this matter and if its true then i will sue xiaomi in the court of law for damages and rectification, further if its true i will seek ban from the government on xiaomi from doing business in india

My dad's phone (Redmi Note 3G) stuck in bootloop after a call and suddenly rebooted itself, and this happened few days ago..
At first I tried flashing ROM in TWRP recovery, no luck to get the ROM flashed in due to "unable to mount /data", and same to system and cache.
And then I tried using SP Flash tool to flash the ROM to the device, the flashing process was successful, but the phone still stuck in bootloop (stuck at Mi logo). Still no luck..
And I accidentally selected Format All + Download during few times attempts, now the phone ends up dead, I can't boot it up. No more Mi logo, charging LED doesn't turn on. It's dead.

You can download stock rom in a .tar format from the xda forum. Use SP tools to flash the same on your phone.
That should solve the issue. I did it for my phone. it works

Will this work for bricked Redmi Note 3G GSM Indian version,with below symptoms ?

after changing the usb cable brom error is solve and a big green tick will appear when flashing is finish.
Then reboot the phone but screen is still blank no power on ........... ??

not working for me

LG G2 Bricked. Fix it and I'll pay you.

Hi,
I initially soft bricked my LG G2 D801 by clearing everything in TWRP. Tried to fix it, went through a bunch of threads and tried different tools but ended up just screwing it up more, now a hard brick. Currently will not go into download mode or TWRP. In device manager it is listed as "LG Android USB Device". Also will continuously restart unless I go into "recovery mode" where it will go into Demigod crash. I basically give up because I dont know what I'm doing.
My proposal:
I will ship you the phone, you fix it and ship it back to me
I will pay you $50 for your trouble via paypal or check
Any other information you need from me to see if it is unbrickable?

Hey pal! I hardbricked my lg g2 d802 two days ago. The screen was dim and dark; I was already thinking about buying a new phone. Now im replying with it lol.
I went basically nuts because i couldnt enter into download or recovery mode
I thought everything was lost but through a tool called "srk tool" I was able to force download mode on the phone. (You have to toggle "nuke download mode")
Furthermore, if you happen to plug the G2 to the PC and come across the phone being recognized as 13 drives, srk tool has an option to unbrick the phone.
It would be great if you unbricked the phone. If you can only enter download mode, flash a stock rom. Ill leave you with the two threads which have guided me:

Just wondering if you got it fixed. If not let me know. I know how crappy it is just let me know which carrier you have and message me if you want me to try n repair it. I screwed mine up badly after trying to get cyanogenmod to work too once. All I would get is an lg symbol then some texts. But I fixed mine.

thanks cuenta, i've tried those before and the computer doesnt read the phone so i cant use SRK tools (as far as i can tell anyways), also can't flash because cant find phone. basically ive come up with "im not smart enough to fix this myself" haha. ty for the help anyways.

thanks admin44, i'm def not smart enough for this. would rather pay someone $50 to fix it than have a disassembled phone that I cant put back together. =)

It is so easy just need some time and good eyes see some video on yotube how to open it .i do that before 2 month and i think i will need to do it again in futur becuase i love play on this phone i will search for some video that can help you

Can you take a shot of the demigod crash screen?
It's still a soft brick, hard brick is when the phone boots but the screen is black (panel gives light no image)
Can you double check in Device manager does it say something like Qhsusb_bulk?

Hey, as far as the it recognizing it as something else in download mode or whatever. Right click "this pc" on your file explorer and hit manage, it'll pop up a window and hit device manager then locate the phone and right click it and hit update driver software and hit select from currently installed drivers (could be worded different, doing this off head) and on the left it'll give you some manufacturers/corporations, select google and select on the right the one that has fastboot on it. Now if you don't see google in that list on left, that means you need to download and install the google usb drivers. This will help the computer recognize that it's in fastboot/download mode ready to get files flashed to it with the several programs listed above. I've had this issue before. Let me know if this worked!

My lg was not properly detected
My lg was not properly detected by windows 7 (plugged it in and nothing happened) and i was still able to use the srk tool. If you have qhusb... detected as the g2 you can unbrick. If it is not detected at all I would still try nuked download mode.

I really appreciate the tips here guys. I used to have the Qhusb_bulk or whatever reading in device manager, but in my trying to fix that I screwed it up more I think. Now I currently have what is shown in the images below. I've had a few offers to have this fixed for me, so I'll basically go in the order I received the PMs/posts. I'll do my best to provide everyone with enough info to make sure he/she can fix it without too much trouble.

The only way your gonna fix it is to use above mention link done it many time g2 is unbrickable with said link i crossed roms models radios everything on mine takes like 10 or 15 minnacter youve done it a few times fairly easy even for people thats not technicly in inclined

Man I know how you feel, it sucks having a bricked phone. Anyways, I totally can relate to your situation. I had a hard bricked (Verizon G2), which I did repair on my own. At first I did spend hours on end going through forum after forum, method after method. All of them stumped me. Well after all the forums, I pretty much sat there on my own and tried to figure out the pieces. I knew that when we flash something to our phone, it has to flash to the motherboard. So a bad flash (hard bricked phone) means oh no the motherboard is dead since the phone is totally unresponsive. I ended up doing a motherboard replacement (yes I did take the phone apart myself and it was my first time), and success! The phone was revived. The process is definitely possible, but again it might not be the right solution for everyone. Just wanted to share my thoughts regarding this issue!
Side note: If you want to go this route I will need to order a motherboard for your model. Depending on how long it could take to arrive, it might be awhile before you get it back repaired. I will have to use the money to purchase the board.

So i read many pages in many sited and came to know that my phone got bricked. And they actually solutions and i was trying em from days now and this is the results i get!!!
In SP TOOL i when i click download and then i plug in the cable and then my phone to the cable. it shows something like this

After a long struggle of 4 to 5 days i got it solved.
i downloaded this sp tool which got some extra files like when u press Ctrl+Alt+S u get a 2 extra slots to select. And i have selected that slot called "AUTH" and selected that AUTH file which was in the sp tool folder only. And Then i flashed. But it still gave me error's. So i chose the framework(pure, stock, original rom) )for me it was 14s) and i flashed it BOOM!!!!
IT WORKED
So after the flash i found out that my phone ran out of juice and it was power off and thats why the flashed worked.But if ur phone still got juice u better lay it off for a day or two to let the phone ran out to juice!
IF U GOT IN THIS **** I'LL BE GLAD TO HELP Y'ALL...... PEACE..:angel:

Which error were you getting like 2004 or 2005 in sp tool cause i was also having the problem flashing the ROM.
I am not able to see the images you had posted.

Yes it's 2004 and 2005. But I have recovered form the brick.. so you have the same problem like when you connect you phone to PC, screen black and only red led light It's connects and disconnect's in some seconds or minutes!. And I have posted the solution for it in my second post. I recommend you to read it. If you need any help. Just ask:good:

Yeah bro, I was getting the error 2004 and i tried everything(except your suggestion) but unable to succeed. So i gave my phone to service center on September 7 and waiting to get it back till now(LOL).
BTW thanx for the walkthrough i will surely try this if something wrong happens to my phone:good:.

Hi, i have the same problem, only that the phone connects to the PC if im holding volume up button and for a second or two... Where did you find that .auth file? I have 3 different sp flash tools and none of them have that file.

I have the same problem like when you connect you phone to PC, screen black and only red led light It's connects and disconnect's in some seconds or minutes.

bro i drained my full battery and tried to flash my phone still i get a message device not recognised.. help me.. what should i do now? my phone is bricked there is no OS inside get stucked on bootloop.. unable to recognised by pc.. help me please

This phone takes its own time , so dont give up it will work out one day. Mine took more than 10 days to wake up from its deep sleep.Good luck

Bro please i need your help very bad......please guide me through this so called BRICK. I showed my phone to many local mobile repairers but no one can fix it. I found this post helpful but the only problem is that i cannot connect my phone to PC due to constant disconnections and connections i don't know why that is happening.

My phone not working showing green light continuously when I remove from charging also ,tried volume + power button going to recovery mode showing update systems and clear data ,I tried update system but showing failed to update,cause :installation package not found but I didn't try clear data because afraid of loosing all data pl advice

oneplus 6T stuck on fastboot bootloop

hi team, i just bought a new oneplus 6T from china with Hydrogen OS, i changed it to Oxygen OS
but somehow it erased completly and stuck on fastboot bootloop, no bootloader, no recovery no system
i tried MsmdownloadTooln the laptop reconizes the phone but the operation stuck also on "param preprocessing"
please any help i would be greatful :crying::crying:

Hey there I recently had the same problem with a OnePlus 6T... What I did was I installed everything manually using the ADB tools, in fastboot mode. Everything worked fine afterwards. Follow this guide, it will hopefully help.(It helped me ;D)

Make sure to have unzipped the compressed android file from the guide(whichever you decided to donwload) in the same folder as your ADB and Fastboot tools.
If it is still not working... try to manually flash everything in fastboot mode, that is what I did...
Download the latest version of android pie provided in the link from the guide( Google drive or Android Filehost), and then make sure to unzip the compressed file in the same folder where you installed your ADB and Fastboot Tool. Make sure a TWRP recovery image is in the same folder. (https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...overy-unofficial-twrp-touch-recovery-t3861482)
Then, what you should do is to follow the guide where it says:

Get back to me after you finished. Read twice, execute once :good:

Download the TOOL ALL IN ONE and if it says fastboot device connected, I think you'll be fine. Make sure right below that you choose OnePlus 6T. Then just download and flash the full rom and it fixed mine, I had the same problem.

I have the same problem
PLeaseeee help me I have a rooted oneplus 6t. I performed a backup and wipe in hope to clear a problem and am now stuck in fastboot mode. Im pretty sure as I tried to reboot it said no os detected, and then I got stuck. I have tried to install the latest oxygen os by manualling flashing 4 files. all tutorials i read have bootloader and other files while i just have - system_matrix , system_manifest , vendor_matrix, vendor_menifest (XML files by the way). I have flashed these files and rebooted only to go back to the fastboot screen.

Bro please help me I didn't not much about this things but ill do flashing and customisation i bricked my Oneplus 6t its stuck on bootloader ill try msm tool also its shows param preprocessing ?
And my bootloader is also locked how can i solve this problem pls help me

For anyone running into a similar problem these are the steps I used
1. Download and extract files
a. Qualcomm drivers
b. MSM Oneplus 6t download Tool
2. Disable Driver Signature Enforcement by restarting your pc whilst holding shift, Choose trouble shoot, then going into more recovery ,select Advanced Options > Startup Settings > and then click on Restart.
3. Now PC will restart and Now you will see a list of startup settings that you can change. Select option 7 ‘Disable Driver Signature Enforcement’ by clicking f7
4. Now switch off your phone (by navigating through fast boot options)
5. While switched off hold both vol up + down for 5secs before connecting to your pc. *Your pc should recognise a phone is connected however nothing will be displayed on your phone*
6. Open device manager from start- Under Other devices there should be your phone (although it will be called smthn else), right click that and select update drivers
7. Browse computer for driver software and select folder with extracted QUALCOMM drivers (for me it was called unbrick).
8. The open the MSM application (run as admin tho) it should say device connected
9. Press start and you download should start- if error occurs or download stops unplug, power on, power off and the plug it again, now it should be fine.
10. Wait for download to finish and then your phone should be rebooted

Try unbrick and fix imei with hcu and idt

Hi,
My histore is.
updated with RuHupdater v4 my mate9 for the ROM GPU turbo B377.
after trying to update again my mate9 did not start more, did not enter fastboot, did not enter the recovery, nothing, nothing.
the only solution was to testpoint and install the board software by IDT.
but the IDT has deleted my IMEi and partitions from the modem. IMEI is 000000000000
I was able to install the rom of factory of plate MHA-L29000000073
finally the HCU corrected my IMEI using this board ROM. But other functions were not corrected and the phone did not start after fix IMEI
so I had to install the Chinese STF ROM and leave it in the CHINA region for all functions to be fixed.
Ok, IMEI and everything working.
but .... this STF china firmware does not accept TWRP installation so I no can update my mate9 and get out of this board rom.
so what method should I use to have my mate9 updated and imei working at the same time?

I couldn't find in internet IDT software. Can you forward the file or send link? What is board rom? Is it same as stock firmware?
Edit: I got the main point. But i wanna know taht can you repair your imei with HCU client in Nougat ver. after flashing board software?

so, in initial flash wait instal only fastboot and Boot for only your mate9 starts and vibrate, after 49 seconds and instal pull usb cable for brake install and no starts erase IMEI modem.
unlock again bootloader, install twrp nougat try various TWRP nougat, after install TWRP you can update PIE rom with RUHupdater , after install Pie unlock bootloader again and format factore.....and GO m you are Pie unbrik

I have the same problem, I took my mate 9 to a technician, he fixed my phone using test point but he install a different firmware 9.0 Pie from Another region,my previous firmware was MHA-L29C567
Plus the rear camera is just black screen and it lost the IMEI.
How can I rollback to Oreo and recover the IMEI and rear camera?
I know if I use the HWOTA8 from Pie using TWRP it will cost a another brick.

So, after an agonising month of trial and errors and leaving my phone with multiple 3rd parties repair shops, the phone did not get fixed except with one shop which while fixing it they wrote a different IMEI causing my phone to stop wrking after a while due to local about phones coming from outside...
After some digging in the internet, I found a guy which he is a member of Team MT and he was willing to help fixing the phone as a paid service. I took the risk of gambling to fix it instead of leaving it as an idle paper weight. We connected through TeamViewer and started the fixing sessions and eventually he managed to fix it completely with an European rom C432 B177 (The original was C185). Till now I am writing from the phone after upgrading officially to Android P EMUI 9.
I hope this might help anyone who's having difficulties to fix their phone due to the lack of the material needed to do so.

The guy is trust worthy as I needed another repair session because we fixed the phone on incorrect IMEIs which lead us to fix it again on the original ones...
Things needed:
*TeamViewer
*some files to be downloaded bearing around 10GB
*knowing hot to start the phone with test point
*Intuitive understanding of deviated English
*Around 2-3 hours of continuous time for a successful repair session...
*And most importantly the original box to get the IMEIs and other important serials to get the phone operational...
