I have bought Spice android one device and it works fine.. The only problem i am facing is that i can't find an option to disable sim one or sim two anywhere.. There are settings to select default sim card but no option to disable one and keep one active.. At first i thought that this is some problem with kitkat but in my friend's moto g there is the dual sim setting option.. so how can i disable one sim card in my phone???? there has to be a way....
i got the exact same issue, downloaded an app MTK Control, but that too doesn't work.

I have the following situation and basically this is the reason why I've bought a dual SIM
SIM 1 - Vodafone Italy
SIM 2 - Yallo Switzerland
SIM 1 is used ONLY for receiving phone calls and I want to have it 24/7
SIM 2 is more a working SIM, I am using it for phone and internet
Evening I want to switch off SIM 2, don't want to be bothered with calls nor I care for internet.
First problem when I try to "disable" SIM 2 I got the message that the SIM is set as primary (whatever it means) so I cannot disable it (why ????????????)
Trying to findo out what is the reason I have discovered that if I select data on SIM 1, then I can switch off SIM 2 (whaaaaat ?????)
Seems that I am not free to do it
The other thing is ... to "disable" the SIM, I have to go to Settings | SIM and mobile network click on SIM 2 and disable
This is not what you want to do just before going to sleep, I expected something very easy to switch off SIM 1 or 2 based on needs
How can I solve the problem ?

Dear all,
I need a creative idea here: SIM 1 is my "calling SIM" , SIM 2 is data only. Consequently, SIM 2 is set to 4G. It seems though the Galaxy S8 does allow WiFi-Calling only for the 4G SIM. The setting to switch it on is not existing when the SIM is set to 2G/3G.
Any way to have WiFi Calling switched on for the 3G SIM? Alternatively, any way to use Tasker to switch profiles automatically when my Home WiFi is connected?

Hello,
under dual sim management i set "always ask" for voice call and sms.
If i disable SIM 2, the selection goes to SIM 1 and i lost "always ask" setting when i turn SIM 2 on again.
I'm using 8.1 version. How can i address this issue to development or check if it's present under a bug tracker list ?

I really have strange issue
I have op8 pro in2023 with Android 11 with two sim cards
1st one for call and it use 3g network and 2nd for internet by using 4g lte...
One I am going to do call by sim one , I immediately lose the data connection permanently just like there is no signal in sim2 at all !
I can recover that by restart or simply by activate and de activate aeroplane mode!
Please any suggestion
I don't have such idiot issue in samsung nor in huawei

I know that we cant use both sim at sqme time
But the 2nd sim should resume his work automatically after the end of call from 1st sim right? Mine did not work at all till i restart or just activite and de activte the air plane. Mode.

I've got two sims also. Tell me what setup you have , I know you mentioned sim one is for calls and 3G? And sim 2 is for data only? I don't see an option on here. I have a global setting for 3g 4g 5g etc and then I also have a default option to state voice or data for each line as a preference.

I used every method to solve this issue through 4 days and I really hate One plus for that annoying BUT
some one told me I should activate the VOLTE through setting , but unfortunately I didnt find this option too !
