I am not sure if that hapened after update to android 5.0.2. or before.
Problem is that tablet is charging at only 500 mA and charging takes too long.
Charger is original Samsung 5.3V/2A.
Any solution?
Thanks
1. Run the recovery mode (Power + Vol up + button start) and select wipe cache partiton.
2. You need to open and disconnect the battery from the motherboard for about a few minutes.

I will try it, first I have to install custom recovery, I think I can't wipe cache trough stock recovery.

Hi!
Galaxy tab 6800. There was rooted stock firmware.
Someday somehow it become not responding, and I pressed power button for some seconds. Unexpectedly, instead of just rebooting, the Tab went into some downloading mode (quite the same as ODIN mode, except that I had a word "Factory" instead of "Odin"). In this state I can only do the following:
1. Hold Power = Factory mode
2. Hold Power+Volume Up = Factory mode
3. Hold Power+Volume Down = Flash OS invite screen, then Volume Up = Odin mode, or Volume Down = Factory mode
__NO Power off, NO Recovery__
So several times I flashed FW's with ODiN both rooted and stock (stock based, not to touch the counter). Everytime right after flashing, Tab normally booted into Android, so I could get to Recovery menu, and I've made all the available format/wipe procedures, flashed again, but every time I tried to power off the Tab, I got rebooted into this odd Factory mode.
Once I have read that one drained his battery and got out of this dead loop. But that was not my case. Firstly it worked, but after I once got working power off and recovery it again rebooted instead of shutting down...
Please, HELP!

If you can get into flashing a stock rom,( without installing CWM ) then get into the recovery of ODIN , and wipe data/factory reset from there, probably you have data corruption.

Just wanted to make sure you meant ODIN recovery & not CWM recovery.
Update. After a couple of days the problem still persists. But for some reason (surely, I flashed and formatted the tab several times during this issue) it became possible to switch to recovery mode after some attempts, though it wasn't yesterday. So I don't need to drain the battery or to connect to PC in order to just power-cycle the device. I can say that it's usable now
Hey guyz,
Could you help me please? I have ZTE Blade TFT phone with 2 gen ROM.
Unfortunatly hardware buttons are not working and can't be repaired. After flashing new ROM my phone is stuck on Android logo.
I have CWM installed, but unfortunatly I can't perform hard reset due the broken buttons.
I can't reflash it via other method as well, cause factory recovery is replaced by CWM.
I can't use a TPT method as menu button is not working as well.
Could you please recommend me any method to recover my phone?
Any feedback is welcome!

Okay dude keep calm maybe your phone is still alive.
Check:
-Do you can enter FTM Mode?
-When you put the device @ charging , does it show a charging animation?
If so or not , pull out battery out of device for 4-5 hours (!) , then put battery back in and try to go in recovery! Maybe then it will go ... If you need to put another ROM to device , just 'Mount and Storage" -> "Mount USB Storage" -> connect phone via USB to Computer and you are able to put another ROM to sdcard.
When you install new ROM
-2x Wipe Data&Factory Reset
-2x Wipe Cache
-2x Wipe Dalvik (under 'Advanced')
-Not needed but you can Wipe Battery Stats
-Install .zip from sdcard
-choose .zip from sdcard
-choose ROM , install and reboot.
I hope it helped!

This methods doesn't work for me as well. It progresses beyond the green android and load ROM logo.
Turn on your phone with volume up held and connect it to your computer. It should not progress beyond the green android. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for

To get in fastboot you have to hold the vol up key for around second and then press power on while holding vol up. I mean you shouldn't hold the two buttons at same time to power up.
1. Hold Vol Up key
2.While holding vol up , wait 3 seconds
3 While holding vol up , press power on now. At least you hold two buttons.
4.You should now be in fastboot mode.

Unfortunately, I can't.
I can access only CWM mode
I just got an S5 and was trying just to get the wireless tethering for free into my phone. I installed the CWM and booted into that recovery the other day, and did extensive research for a few hours before settling on this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2727127 to try to do it. Since it's a sprint S5 (900p) I downloaded it and everything. However, I went into the clockwork app to boot into recovery (the 5.x.x.x settingwas used) it simply is locked in a cycle of "RECOVERY BOOTING... RECOVER IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING... Set Recovery Bit: recovery" I have tried to get it into the download reboot but key combinations (vol up, home, power) don't seem to have any effect. Also, Kies and adb as well as odin all do not "see" my phone connected to the pc while it loops. Only time loop stops is when the battery is out.
Managed to get it into dowload, and now am put this recovery instead, as it should work under the guide I'm using. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2697762

Please use more paragraphs next time, that was hard to read.
We would need a lot more detail to know what went wrong, but the first thing to try when you have a bootloop is to wipe the system cache from recovery mode
recovery mode: pull battery and any USB cable for 10 seconds
Then replace battery, press and continue to hold volume up + home + power
Let go of the keys when you see the recovery screen.
Wipe cache from the recovery on screen menu
Then reboot normally
If you still cannot boot normally, reboot to download mode again
download mode: pull battery and any USB cable for 10 seconds
Then replace battery, press and continue to hold volume down + home + power
Let go of the keys when you see the download screen.
Use Odin to flash a full stock firmware image..
same version as you have on the phone now (not older) to stabilize your phone.
If you still have problems, those are most likely caused by a borderline USB cable.
Try a different cable and USB port.

I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy Tab A T280 to the latest firmware and I lost my root. So this afternoon I re-rooted it. Or I attempted to, anyway. Everything seemingly went fine, and I booted into TWRP just fine. I went to flash the ROM and I also selected wipe cache/davlik cache to be done as well, and tapped reboot. My device then turned off and when it started the reboot, it got stuck on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A logo screen and would not move or power off by holding the power button (I tried for a LONG time by using a rubber band to hold it down so I didn't have to, with no luck), and every other combination of buttons wouldn't do a thing, except for holding power + vol down, which made it turn off and back on, but it wouldn't finish rebooting and it just got stuck at the Samsung Galaxy Tab A logo again. So then I thought that maybe plugging it into a charger might not be a bad idea, and after holding down power + vol down again, it turned off and turned on and showed a battery with a charging symbol. I've had it plugged in for an hour and it does not show a charge or do anything except for go back to that boot logo if I unplug it from the charger and again hold down power and volume down separately.
I know it's not hard bricked because it is somewhat responsive so I think there's a chance to fix it, hopefully. I just want it to turn on and fully reboot into anything or in any way that will allow me to be able to fix the issue. My computer will not recognize the device so ADB is not an option right now unless I'm wrong.
Thanks a lot guys, I am so confused and could really use some advice.
What firmware did you install
Try to install original firmware via software "Samsung Smart Switch" on your PC with connected tablet.
I too recommend that you try installing the last firmware that you were on via Odin. Also, when you hit that screen lock issue after a firmware flash, where only the Samsung logo appears do this:
1. press and hold Home + volume up and volume down along with power button (that's all 4 buttons). Hold it there for at least 20 seconds and it should power off.
2. Once the device powers off keep holding the buttons but let go of the volume down button.
3. Once the tablet starts to power back up again release the power button and then in about 1 to 2 second release the rest of the buttons.
This should get you back into recovery. You should at least be able to restore any backup, that you should have already, on your external micro SD.
Good luck.. : )
"Chance Favors the Prepared"
the above post is 100% right. Reboot back into recovery and you'll be good to go. Also twrp has a option to reboot back to recovery so this doesn't happen, just a fyi for future knowledge. Best of luck..
You tried to flash a rom with twrp?
You need to flash stock firmware with odin.
Hi Guys,
My 5 years old 1+ 5 is started doing a strange thing. After some random time when I try to power cycle or reboot the phone it is going into EDL mode and not possible to start it up again. No led light even when charger connected.
It happened already 5 or 6 times in a row in the last 3 weeks. Only possible to get back the device into functional mode to re-flash with MSMDownload Tool but this is re-setting my internal storage and all the data is wiped.
It is a nightmare to get back TWRP, PixelExperience (12) and all the apps installed again. Even from backup. I don't have time to do this after a reboot or power cycle. And again this is NOT happening after each and every reboot or power cycle of the phone, but at just some random time when the phone is rebooted or power cycled intentionally. The Phone is NOT rooted, I'm just using the PixelExperience custom rom. So after recovering with MSMTool to stock ROM, unlocking boot loader, re installing TWRP and PixelExperience (and all the apps) I'm using for a while. I can do reboots , power cycle for some days but after some time when it comes again to a reboot or power cycle it is again going / stuck into EDL mode.
1. Why this is happening? (maybe flash memory physical corruption?)
2. How to exit EDL mode without wiping the phone? (Vol down + Power, Vol up + Power, Vol up+down, Vol up+down + power combinations DOESN'T work).
3. How to re-flash bootloader only with MSMtool OR any other tool IN EDL MODE without wiping /system, /data, and internal storage?
4. Any other suggestion? (other than replacing the phone? )
Same issue here. Just commenting to keep it up and to see if any new data appears.
Ended up trashing the OP5 and switched to another Vendor.
