I have the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 and I just wanted to make sure of something before I did it. Better safe than sorry, right?
I am presently on 4.3 MJE, but I want to go back to the 4.2.2 firmware it original came with.
I've downloaded the original firmware for this. Can I just flash it back using ODIN? The same way I would if my device was rooted and I just simply flashed back and original firmware.
Thanks
Hey all
As soon as i got my verizon lg g2 phone i flashed a custom rom and since then i have not had working GPS. i have tried a bunch of fixes and nothing works. So it seems i need to flash back to stock and open a GPS app so it can find signal then i can flash to a rom if i desire.
My question is...
Which version should i flash back to? should i flash the kitkat VS98024A_11 or an older and take the OTA? I want to be able to root after i flash back to stock and would like some input on the best process to accomplish this.
Thanks for any help and direction you can provide!
Hello. I have a Verizon Galaxy S4 i545. It was on 4.4.2 before I installed a custom rom. It had NC2. I want to go back to the stock ROM. How can I do this? I heard that I must use ODIN, but am not sure how to do that. Can someone send me a link to the firmware file download pages and also a link to download ODIN along with instructions on how to go back to the stock ROM? Thank You
Did you even try to google "i545 nc2 odin"?
Is it possible to flash from a verizon 5.0 stock rom to a koodo G900W8 6.0 stock rom via Odin without softbrick? Thanks in advance. If I don't get a reply I'm going to try it and report back here.
Really bad idea.
Why would you want to do this anyway?
hello, I have samsung S4 I9000 and I should love to unroot and flash a new rom. Can anyone point me the way to do that?
many thanks ,
Carl
Flashing stock firmware will unroot it automatically.
You cannot unroot and flash a new custom ROM. Unless you want to go back to stock and upgrade to latest stock update.
