MBP vs OUR ROM vs TW DAILY DRIVER - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Guys can anyone tell me which is the best among the aforestated in the title.
Particularly when clubbed with volt kernel in terms of a better battery : performance ratio minus any bug / heating / lags / freezes or hiccups.
Thanks in advance.

i would recommend tw daily driver since i uses it a lot before i switched to Ale V4, works fine with voltaqe kernel, tw core daily driver is also lighter since its debloated and more updated u might as well try all 3 to test them urself so u will know exactly which one is best
btw u should ask in general or Q/A because its development box here so must be only related to development of a rom

Thank you so much. Pardon my ignorance and hereafter I will post such queries in the appropriate section.
Till yesterday even I was on tw core. I used acr 16.7 and I thought that this version allowed to save calls to extsd and by that time I was using tw daily driver.
Today I tried our rom, and acr didn't allow me to save to extsd. Is there any way to make the app to save calls in extsd ?

Can someone suggest me a vanilla android rom with decent battery life and less heating issues.??

I don't use that model but from what I understand it doesn't have that much that isn't touchwiz based. there are some cm roms rated 5 stars mostly 5.1.1 and one 6.0.x at 5 stars at the top of the page http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9500-orig-develop sorry I don't follow those threads so it's best to read a few of them.

I love this ROM, fluid, stable, fast. I install it just yesterday and till now I didn't find nothing to reproach. I found just a little bug, I think it's present in other 6.0 ROM's too. When the screen is on Horizontal a black bar apear in the right side (my right side). Also the icons from status bar have a reflection on that black bar.

I have a request when u review ROM plz install some ram hogging apps like fb slide coc etc cz I have noticed whatever rom u install it is smooth as long as u don't put ur apps and data in it
Using Cyanpop on an XT1032 right now without Gapps. I'd have hoped that the battery life would be better on Marshmallow but even with no gapps installed, the battery drain is quite bad (I always follow th extreme battery saving guide and also have no background sync or data heavy apps). It's quite frustrating tbh.
I'm guessing all the CM-based roms have this issue plus their compatability with XPosed isn't great but sadly, the stable ones are mostly CM-based.

How much battery is drained ? I will try on CM 13 with Greenify and some options enabled to see if the battery life is better or not. NOw I get about 3 hours of SOT, I expect to get with greenify about 5-6 hours.

Actually I'm pretty interested in the Nameless ROM now that you mentioned it, I didn't really know much about it before and didn't know it was for this device either!
I am very interested in this ROM and I just wanna know if you have had any bugs so far?
Nameless ROM + Marshmallow sounds like a very nice combo, but apparently Nameless ROM also has a 5.1.1 version available too.. So that is cool!
EDIT: Having issues with the ROM but I'll get them fixed hopefully

4.4.4 had some pretty thorough themes made for it. If you are looking for a rom to customize yourself I like Alliance. It wa's simple with the roms built in ui. Tekhd was also themed by pappa mag. His themes we also done well. Notification panel and dialer and toggles. Only issue I had was my gear vr wouldn't play Netflix without getting really bad av sync issues... drove me crazy... went to stock mm and then to overdrive 2.0.1 I think.. and everything is fine.. but there aren't any themes to flash for it so it looks stock for the time being....

thank you. I didnt get quite as high as 182k though, got like 175k give or take. everyone is different i guess?
i'm with bat rom, jesse kernel only gives me 100k and no wifi call, batstock rom gives me 165k after i changed the cpu speed from 1690 to 2310
I only got 123k without any other apps open, in performance mode, FHD+,Stock ROM, same results plugged and unplugged and also tested with WQHD+. Don't know why it's so low?
174k totally stock.

I tried a lot of roms now, and settled with SlimLP because it is the most stable by far, gives also good at performancelevel and not like kitkat has the modern design.
Slim6 does give me app crashed
Slim7 runs really smooth and good, but has a weird bug where the performance can very each reboot. (this applies to all Nougat roms)
all other (Cyanogen, AOSP, ...) do not that well performancewise as the slim roms.
I'm running Slim 4.4... is it worth updating? lol
Netflix doesn't seem to work anymore on this.

well i suggest slimkat cuz it has nice performance with gapps unlike some other roms. If you dont want gapps i would suggest omni 6. Slimkat is just a bit snappier for me but since its kitkat its hard to use without gapps. I have yalp store and newpipe for slimkat.

Holo isnt that outdated especially with slimkats black theme. slimlp was the first rom i flashed on this tablet but after a few weeks it started lagging.
