Hi Friends, here is my latest contribution for the Z1 Compact community, hope you find it useful
D5503_Customized DE_1279-6978_14.6.A.1.236 PREROOTED for Sony Xperia Z1 Compact done with PRFCreator.
What you get:
Flashable Zip File - for Updating your rom with custom recovery (TWRP). This is rooted with SuperSu (2.46) and comes with latest
XZDualRecovery (2. 8.23) bundled.
Install:
1. Download file
2. Copy flashable-prerooted-signed.zip to your sdcard
3. Boot to recovery (USE TWRP NOT Philz!!!!! If PhilzTouch Recovery used, you WILL loose Root!!!) and install flashable-prerooted-signed.zip
4. Reboot to system
Download:
ZIPFILE: flashable-prerooted-signed.zip
MD5: c37aece6d7479156b21d5ee39af68049
SHA1: 455664ebe9f49a870421831a95d79d679c6c7d49
TESTS: I have tested the flashable.zip as descriped below to ensure the rom is fully working as expected.
CONDITIONS:
1. Flash over running and fully functional Lollipop 5.1.1 (14.6.A.1.216) with XZDualRecovery 2.8.21. Bootloader is LOCKED, no xposed framework installed.
RESULTS:
1. Flashing the Rom - Works. After Flash with XZDualRecovery 2.8.21. No Errors in XZ Logwindow
2. Root Check: Testet with: Root Checker (fro mFree Android Tools, joeykrim, and Burrows Apps): No Problems, all apps show full root is present.
3. Remove System Apps: Testet with: SD Maid Pro, System App Remover (Jumobile, TopDev): Works too, im able to remove system apps without any errors.
4. Install Xposed Framework v78 SDK22: Works, no Bootloops.
5. Install and use of XperiaXposed (LP) latest lolipop version from original xda thread: Installation and modul activation works
- Modding User Interface (More Homesceens, gestures (swiping down for Quicksettings, Up App drawer, roud edges, additional quick settings) - Works.
- Xperia Home: (Hide Apps, Widges scalable, labels). Works
- Media: Volume Keys to skipping tracks, camerabutton start/stop. Works.
- Power Menu: Edit some of the options. Works
6. XPrivacy. Installation, Modul activation works. After reboot (no bootloops) xprivacy works like expected. No Problems with that
Thx to zxz0O0 for the PRFCreator.
can i proceed with fresh install ?
Sure but untested.
dirty flashed it over .216, flashed xposed v78 at the same time - works excellent, xprivacy was active all the time :good:

Did you flash with Philz Touch Recovery? Then this was the culprit.
I did this two times and lost root and recovery as you
The recommended recovery to use is TRWP.

I've had the exact same problem. I also had the Philz Touch Recovery installed. After the update both Recovery and Root were gone. I've found an APK called KingRoot to regain Root:

I've installed it on my Xperia Z1 Compact (there where a few security warnings). Root access will return, but I'm still trying to figure out how to boot into Recovery

Hi dude i think you just have to install a recovery again, by the install.bat from your PC (or install.sh for apple) for example from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606 and you'll have your recovery back.

If your icon has changed that means you've flashed different customization of ROM (ie. you were on CE1, now you're on DE) - but that's not a problem
If someone already did with Philz, can get again Root Permission with Kingroot. It works.
Just flashed, clean install through TWRP, everything working as it should be... Thanks OP!
There are two methods to root Android N .
Method 1
Flash the Supersu.zip from custom recovery.
RC-SuperSU-v2.69-20160313161431.zip
Method 2
This method will work without custom recovery , just download it and go the fastboot and follow the steps .
CF-Auto-Root-bullhead-bullhead-nexus5x-NPC56P.zip
Just download the file
Extract it
reboot your Nexus 5X into bootloader
Now open the root-windows(If you are using windows otherwise select the file which is for your operating system)
Now the command window will open and ask you to enter any key to continue
Then press any key from your keyboard and it will automatically done the remaining process and your phone will reboot
If you device got bootloop then poweroff the device once and power on manually
Thats it you will see the SuperSu icon .

Try to find an older firmware version that can be flashed with Odin. Usually system updates patch exploits commonly used by one-click root apps, and only an older build will fix the issue. Hope this helps.

Okay thanks ☺
Hello sir
Follow my steps for successful TWRP/ROOT
1.)Download and install Samsung USB Drivers
2.)Download TWRP 3.0.2.0
3.)Download Odin
4.)Download SuperSU.zip file
For download links message me or add me on facebook facebook. com/fRoD.cs
After you complete this 4 steps shutdown your phone and enter into Download Mode
Volume Down + Power + Home
Select continue by Volume Up key
Now connect phone with usb cable into pc and run Odin as administrator
Click on AP box and select the twrp.tar file you download before
Go to Options tab and uncheck Auto Reboot, make sure that only F, Reset Time is checked and click start
After successfully installed TWRP , remove the battery, put it back and make sure that you go into recovery mode immediately!!! Volume Up + Power + Home
If you boot up the phone it will restore the original recovery. Thats why you need to go to recovery mode first.
First time you boot in recovery it will be shown a TWRP screen asking to allow modifications to system partition. Swipe to accept that.
Now select Install option and select SuperSU.zip file. By default it should be in Download folder, and swipe to start install
After installing click reboot and your SM-G361F will be rooted. You should have SuperSU app in the menu
This is only for Honor 8 Pro (DUK-L09)
DISCLAIMERYOUR WARRANTY IS NOW VOID. IN NO WAY AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EFFECTS YOU INFLICT ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE BY FOLLOWING THE BELOW PROCEDURE. IMPROPER USAGE OF THE METHOD MIGHT END UP BRICKING YOUR DEVICE AND RENDERING IT UNUSABLE.
PLEASE BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Purpose of this thread is to provide a working rooting method for the Honor 8 Pro. Flashing Phhsuperuser doesn't grant SYSTEM WIDE root permission.
Functions like granting -rw permissions to apps demanding them for accessing /system partition was disabled, TWRP backup wouldn't work.
With this method, you will be able to operate the phone will proper root privileges.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. UNLOCK BOOTLOADER
Assuming you have a Huawei ID, use THIS PAGE to get your Unlock code.
Once you have that, enable USB debugging on your device from Developer options menu.
Make sure "Allow OEM unlock" option is selected.
Use the following set of commands via ADB/Fastboot:
adb device (this should recognize your device)
adb reboot bootloader (this will boot your phone into fastboot mode)
fastboot oem unlock *unlock key* (the part between * is where the unlock key goes)
The device will restart and then perform factory reset itself.
2. INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY IMAGE (Source : TWRP Thread by OldDroid)
Download TWRP recovery image from HERE
Rename the downloaded file to recovery.img
Copy it to the ADB folder that you are using.
Use the command "adb reboot bootloader" like in Step 1 to boot into Fastboot mode.
Flash the recovery using "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" command (without quotes)
You have now flashed a custom recovery onto your phone.
3. ROOTING
Download Magisk installer zip file from THIS LINK . I had personally used v 13.3 .
Copy it to your SD card(I would suggest you to use a external card).
Switch off your device.
Boot into recovery mode by pressing Volume Up and Power Button together.
Once in, swipe to allow modifications.
Go to Wipe - Format Data
Then Go to Reboot- Recovery
You should be back into the recovery mode. Go to Install menu - Select storage - Install the Magisk zip that you downloaded.
Once it is flashed, you can Reboot to system.
Note: To confirm system wide root access, you can reboot to recovery and try to take a Nandroid backup. It should now be possible.
If anyone happens to run into a bootloop or soft bricks the device, THIS THREAD by @aKp1 will come in handy.
Thanks to @OldDroid for his TWRP thread.

Yes you will have to unroot first. Since phhsuperuser doesn't have a option to UNROOT, you will have to flash stock ROM.
To do that, download the following: HUAWEI UPDATE EXTRACTOR and STOCK ROM .
Follow below steps:
Extract the Stock ROM
Use the Update extractor and select "Update.app" file. That should give you a list of files. Select "recovery.img" and "recovery2.img" image files and extract them.
Copy them to ADB folder. Boot your phone into fastboot mode, flash the two recovery files you copied.
Next, Copy the "dload" folder to your SD card(preferably external SD). Switch your phone off. Press Vol Up,Vol Down and Power button together. The ROM should start flashing. That brings you back to stock firmware. If you want to re-root, follow the instructions in this thread.

Oh wait. Isn't the format data option remove some necessary apps like keyboard and others? Because that's the case before in my Honor 8. After you remove encryption, you need to reflash the region zip so that some important files will be retained.

The zip I shared is for the Indian variant . As long as someone is having C675(Indian variant) installed, it shouldn't cause issues. However if you come from a different region(C432) , you will have to use region zip. I guess I mentioned that in the TWRP thread, current last post.
But formatting data can't be avoided as unlocking bootloader will wipe it in first place . More over stock ROM encrypts data on first boot, so you will have to format data(decrypt it) and proceed with rooting.

You need to wipe data (which will decrypt) and then flash Magisk.
Read point no.3 of the installation instructions.

I wiped data, flashed Magisk v13.3 and then v14 after a successful boot (without wipe).

Stay with 130. Surprisingly, rooting by this method still allows OTA to come in.

Hello dude,
sorry but you should post more info about your device...
What is your complete firmware ? ( settings > device info... example VNS-L31C432B381 )
Which update would you like to do ? A simple update of your firmware ?
Which TWRP version do you have ?
Twrp Elite 3.2.1-0
The firmware is not original. I installed the C432B414 a while ago but I don't know how ...
The proposed update weighs 2 GB. it's the C432B418-Full.
EMUI 5.0.3. Android 7
I don't know the difference between a simple update or a firmware update. I would only like to install the proposed 'update.zip' file.

Mmm, does not original firmware mean ?
You didn't said but i bet your device is L31, isn't it ?
Updates won't install via TWRP and "only" update.zip, you must use HuRUpdater...
Are your firmware 100% working ? If yes, i suggest to use
TWRP 3.1.1-1 by HassanMirza01 then to follow the procedure
in the HuRUpdater appropriate thread.
That's it. If you need some further info just tell.
Cheers
Yes, it's L31.
Hello,
I think I already have the TWRP version of HassanMirza installed. I will check this morning.
The firmware is not original indeed. This is an update that I had installed. In the meantime, I have lost the bootloader unlock code. Do you know if there is a way to retrieve it from the mobile since it is currently unlocked?
Hello,
How do I replace my current TWRP with that of HassanMirza? I put it on SD card and I flash it?
If it doesn't work, what will happen?
Brick?
I'm going to do a 'nandroid backup'. Via adb, is it possible? with the command 'adb backup --twrp'?

Heyho
3.2.1-0 TWRP have some issues and it's not guaranteed it will 100% work,
that's because i suggested you to install 3.1.1-1 version...
I don't know how to retrieve the code, maybe you'll need to pay 4€
and use DC unlocker to read it again...
If you will use HuRUpdater and ( suggested ) keep the TWRP,
your bootloader will not be re-locked.
Your current TWRP can be replaced flashing it into the recovery.
How to do it ? Place the TWRP into your SD card, reboot recovery,
tap install, then in the bottom right tap install image, select your 3.1.1-1 TWRP.
Next tap on recovery partition and swipe to flash.
When finished reboot recovery to verify if it's really changed.
There is no reason why it shouldn't work.
I don't know about adb, you can try... but i think you can do a
nandroid backup rebooting into recovery and
selecting every partition you see...
Beware using 3.2.1-0 TWRP, as i told you it could cause unexpected issues.. :cyclops:
P.S.: a good rule before making a nandroid backup or attempting an
update/downgrade/switch ROM are
to remove all the security of the device..
fingerprint and / or password and / or pattern.

Good evening,
I went to see for the TWRP of HassanMirza. This is version 3.2.1. Why are you telling me to take 3.1.1.1 ??
I finally found version 3.1.1.1 on the xda page of HassanMirza. I install it tomorrow. We will see if it goes well because in fair I downgrade from 3.2.1 to 3.1.1 !?
I found the link I followed to install the LC432B414 version:
https://www.stechguide.com/huawei-p9-lite-b413-b414-nougat-update/
I keep it under the elbow if it goes wrong ...
I forgot to say that, if it is possible, I would like to keep the root and the OTA updates ... Is (this possible ??

Hi,
sorry, you installed B414 firmware in your phone using that guide ?
If yes, which recovery did you used ?
Are your current ( B414 ) firmware 100% working ?
As i know firmwares cannot be flashed that way, that's because some
DEVs started create scripts capable to do that and because
i suggested you to use HuRUpdater method..
Anyway the device are in your hands and you can do anything you want...
Ahmmm, for your latest question, as i know, flashing a firmware will erase
the root ( not necessarily the recovery ), but you can easily reflash it...
Cheers

Yes. This is the reason why I needed the bootloader code because I believe it had deleted TWRP after the flash.

Precisely, currently installed root is 'super su'. But I had to remove it because too many problems with some application. I was wondering if 'Magisk' works on this mobile? And if so which version?
I would like to recover my bootloader code before doing any manipulations in case it goes wrong. My mobile is unlocked but no longer root. I tried this command but it doesn't work:
adb devices
adb shell
su -c "grep -m1 -aoE 'WVLOCK. {14} [0-9] {16}' / dev / block / mmcblk0p7 | grep -aoE '[0-9] {16}'"
How can I recover this code which is on my mobile since it is unlocked?

Hi, that's a good news for you...
For magisk you should go in his main thread, then hit on the
Magisk's GitHub Page link.
I don't know which version, you have to try by yourself.
Download the installer (multiple versions, ex. 20.4 & 20.3 & 19.4), the uninstaller and the apk.
Flash the uninstaller into the twrp if something goes wrong.
Follow the installation guides...
Good luck.
