but that needs a permanent root
i m installing z4root.1.3.0
but while intalling it says problem in prasing the package plz help guys (

what android version are you running at (1.6 ; 2.1)?

[Q] Unable to upgrade to CM 11 on my defy

Hi All,
I was on cm-11-20141121-NIGHTLY-mb52x.zip this on my defy plus but it has issues with frequent disconn. wifi n reboots so i tried to install this --cm-11-20141201-NIGHTLY-mb52x.zip but my phone got stuck on Moto logo ,might bricked so i used RSD lite to install Base android 2.3 and tried adding boot-menu by this apk -SndInitDefy_2.3.apk .
It got me into bootmenu -recovery -but whenever i tried to add any ROM shows error status 0 and didn't allow to add any of custom ROM.
And also i cannot install this -new_boostrap.zip & this -defy_twrp_recovery_2.6.3.0.zip?
So can someone please help me how to install CM11 from base Android please and which recovery i needed for this?
and how to add that recovery ?

Really no help ? i was hoping at lest some 1 can point me where to look or i hv to start do over again ?

Just ignore the first step from here Simple guide from Android 2.2 to latest KitKat 4.4.4
start from "-root with Framaroot"

Thank You so much for this,i will try to follow it.
Another issue is that sometimes custom recovery comes up only ,rest of the times Moto Recovery i see ?
As i was trying usual Power +vol. down so many times but only once it worked to recovery mode but i still cannot install new_boostrap.zip or any of CM11 files ?
but able to install CM X Mig edition 2.zip and its old but stable so i guess i will wait if some1 knows what i messed up.

Twrp 2.8

I update lolipop and flash twrp recovery
But i can flash any rom but device cant start
Suck at boot logo
I try lots of rom but
Same issue please help devs
I want to flash other rom in this recovery

What phone?
What build number of Lollipop is it?
Which version of TWRP?
What roms are you trying?
Your post is the equivalent of going to the mechanic and saying my car isn't working, without telling the mechanic what kind of car and where the weird sounds are coming from. lol

The roms you try to flash is based on source code of kitkat stock rom So you must revert to stock kitkat rom first

I cannot post links but if you click my username and then my threads you will see a similar post posted by me. In there you will find resolution steps. Hope that helps.

i want to change my a6000 from custom rom to stock kitkat

i m using miui7 kitkat rom in my a6000 my phn is now so lagging and i cnt even use it i tried cm12.1 also so i think stock rom is better so is there any change in way to install stock rom or it in way like installing custom roms via twrp plzz help me

Download ROM according to your device and flash it via recovery.

[Q] Unable to install custom roms

Ive tried installing custom roms but both roms stuck at first boot..
Flashed base firmware of M but same issue.....and i noticed that even after flashing the base M firmware the device boots to stock lolipop rom ...
I dont understand this...Im usung latest TWRP 3.0...
I have tried the following roms
1.Resurrection Remix[Stck at first boot]
2.Beastslk rom[stuck at first boot]
3.Deodexed M based stock rom[Worked]~
PLZ HELP.
Im using ZOOLD[ZE550KL]

Follow me... If u want flash custom rom like cm12,rr,... (Rom 6.0)
-First u must update ur phone to android 6.0 (if u was on android 5.0. U must update ur phone lasted fm of 5.0 )
