Hi,
I have recently acquired a s7 edge from work but they appear to have locked down the phone using administrator profiles.
No google play (no way of side loading it will just not appear), No developer mode menu (when mode switched on), no way of booting into download mode (keys not work). I can NOT turn on USB debugging mode as the menu option does not appear when I turn it on (it says developer mode is turned on already). I can not do a restore to factory defaults as this option is greyed out and the restore mode option factory reset option does NOT blank the phone. The phone is not recognised by KIES or Samsung Smart Switch and as I can not boot into download mode or enable USB debugging I can not use ODIN/Root tools. I can side loads APK over the WIFI but I can NOT run any app to boot me into download mode as they require root but I am unable to root the phone.
I want to flash to stock firmware so I can use the phone to its full capacity. The only option I can think now is to boot into recovery mode and use the update from SD card option as I can boot into recovery mode.
Can someone provide me download links/instructions for the recovery file for sm-g935f s7 edge that will allow me to flash to stock firmware using the update from SD card option in recovery mode.

When it started.?
Currently I am using 4.4.4 version. I have downloaded lollipop factory image to my phone and tried to flash using Rom Tool box from phone. But I got an error. After that I have restarted mobile and that's it. Its directly going to fast boot mode. I am only seeing
Start
Recovery mode
Switch off
Restart boot loader every time I restart mobile. Also when phone is switched off and If I connect USB cable its automatically booting into Boot loader.
when I click start the phone not starting showing a blank screen.
I am able to access CWMR mode. But not able to start the phone even after Factory reset etc.
I have tried resetting from Nexus 4 tool kit but I am getting error device not found. When the device is in the recovery mode nexus 4 toolkit was able to detect recovery modes available in the device. But not able to flash any image because it was asking phone to be in debug mode. Bu I am not able to start the phone .
Please help.
Hello, fellas. My device is SM-G928F. Before few hours I've switch on UPSM. I found right away there no such apps or option to turn off UPSM. The only button available was the Settings, but very limited - airplane mode, wifi, brightness and etc. My mistake was to reboot the device and the result is persistent bootloop. No option to turf off the phone or reboot. I must wait to drain the battery.
The case is pretty lame, because of my Package Disable Pro. I'm not using auto disable packages, but everything of my choise. I was aware of disable com.sec.android.emergencylauncher, so I'm sure i don't touch any critical packages, because of weeks of no-problemos using.
So my questions: Is there any chance to turn off upsm via adb or enable all disabled apps via adb? My device is not rooted, so this is no way. Factory reset is no way out. Any suggestions?
Of couse Safe Mode is not usable method too, because of the bootloop? Any suggestions?
Best regards
PS - Botting into stock recovery, download mode or shutting down the device is ok. But what about debugging via adb in the download mode? Any chances to get working adb via download mode? Any suggestions? ^____^

Boot into your Recovery. It should be a custom one like TWRP.
In TWRP click on Advance -> File Manager.
There you have to find '/data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases'. This is the place where your settings get stored.
Just add to the 3 files inside a .bak to the end and reboot. This should have reset all your settings and it should boot fine

Thanks for the tips, but I don't want to root.
Under Windows 7, when I check the device, the console return me unauthorized device, but in debian I see offline.
I cannot get access to the data partition in this moment. I'm sure USB Debugging is enable. Under Debian, when I connect device to my pc, I get SIM code question. Any ideas?

If you don't want to root or flash anything, the only thing you can do is a factory reset...
Dear forum friends, the easiest way was rooting the phone and flashing the latest twrp. After that is very easy - enable all emergency packages via adb, which associated with upsm. So if you use Package Disabler backup everything and check twice before reboot the device.
Thanks for helping, @WerWolv!

Hey, I'm on an S5 and I flashed (to upgrade my phone) my system and forgot to put Android back on my SD (to reinstall it) I then put it on and tried to restart because safestrap wasn't refreshing my files on my SD and essentially screwed up my phone. When I turn it on it just shows the booting screen and doesn't let me go anywhere else. When I try to go into download mode it doesn't let me, please help! (I already went to the Verizon store, they said they couldn't help)
I would first get out a SD card adapter to pc then put in my computer when it recognizes it
I would download official android lollipop such as bok3 from sammobile and then place it on said SD card
then eject SD and place it back in my phone
First try turning off your phone and boot into download mode you may have to try at least 5-10 times if it is only booting into recovery mode
if you have a custom recovery still boot into it either TWRP or safestrap etc then install the firmware
connect phone to computer and install s5 verizon drivers from Samsung website this might fix part of your issue
You could boot your phone into maintenance mode when your phone gets stuck during boot push volume down choose from the list to do a factory reset and you could try safe mode also
If no download mode connect to computer via USB and install verizon software assistant on your pc and try to do repair phone
The phone went into bootloop randomly, it loops at the cyanogen intro and sometimes after the android is optimizing message. I can go into recovery(cyanogen), it has no option to connect to a pc or anything similar. It shows option to enter bootloader, install update from storage etc. I want to recover the images, videos from the device and don't care if i'm unable to use the device after recovering it. Couldn't install twrp as the device doesn't show up in fastboot devices, i'm guessing this is due to usb debugging and such other options not turned on. But i can't do these now as the device is stuck in a bootloop. Is it possible to recover the data or all i can do is flash rom using qfil and lose my data??

Hello, seems your bootloader isn't unlocked and you have the stock recovery, no custom recovery like twrp. So your device cannot be recognized by adb when you have it not enabled.
Try to shut it off by pressing the power button for some time and try to charge it full, then switch on. Also clearing cache in stock recovery can help.
I purchased the sm-t397u from ebay, but the seller did not tell me the Tablet is MDM locked. There was no return warning and I am trying to ship it back but so far it's a no go.
The tablet get's to a screen to enter a PIN with a message "this devices is managed by your organization". So obviously MDM is enabled.
I can boot into recovery mode via home+volume up + power but can't do factory reset - MDM prevents that.
Download mode is "disabled as well" - volume down + power only gets me to the Enter PIN screen again. So I was not able to try Odin + combination file
Is there anyway to recovery this or is it a brick? Seems I should be able to put files on microSD and read from recovery and/or possibly ADB (so far the USB connection has not worked, but I had Huawei drivers installed and need to try on a different laptop with clean Windows and Samsung USB only)
Thank you
OK, no money back but made some progress. I can now boot into the kiosk mode and can get ADB working. But still unable to remove the KNOX MDM enrollment - I can boot, do the setup it will kick in and I end up in kiosk mode.
Factory reset from the recovery mode is now possible, but it did not help.
Need some additional ideas please.
Thank you!
Hi.I have the same situation for a while.I saw a solution by rewriting the bootloader via jtag pins but seems too complicated and i lack the tools for that. How did you manage to enable kiosk mode ? did you manage to do something beyond that ?
