Please don't respond to me with: you should not have to disable secure download etc..
I just realy need to disable the secure download so I can flash my SM-G900T back to SM-G900F firmware.
WTF You don't flash firmwares between different models!
I dont think you can disable it, even if you can as justinxfan said you can't do complete firmware flashes of a different model.

I know, I did it like a 6 months ago, I bought a 900F and then flashed it with 900T firmware and now I can't flash it back to it's original fw.
So there really is no way to disable secure download?

That's impossible there's no way you could've done that unless it was a G900T disguised as a fake G900F or you bricked it. What model does it say in Download mode?

Download mode now says SM-G900T
But I know for sure it was SM-G900F when I bought it.
And if I check my imei number on imei.info it shows SM-G900F
http://www.imei.info/?imei=352558067456393
It's pretty difficult to change what download mode reports, I don't know so I won't go as for as to say impossible, I would trust it though, if everything software related is saying 900T and the sticker says F I would trust download mode more.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
It's a G900T. It was never a G900F. Many people have the same situation. They buy the S5 thinking it's the G900F but sellers falsely label it as the G900F while it's a different model. This is because the G900F will sell much better because it's not a carrier model.

That sticker behind the battery looks pretty fake. The battery on the S5 is 2800 Mah, not 1800 as it shows on the sticker.
But what about the imei? When I check it on imei.info
it shows 900F.
Me too... My phone before is G900F and i brick it and then i don't know i just flash something and then it become G900K. My model version at the back is g900f but in download mode is g900k.

Well, certainly without some advanced knowledge and research flashing entire firmwares between models is ill advised for sure..
However, I have an SM-N9100 =- that's the Chinese duals SIM variant Note 4 -- and I've gotten more than a few different Note 4 firmwares to function just fine thank-yew.
I'm still figuring out HOW I managed to do that.. LOL
You can try to flash Firmware in binary form (SamFirm), I had an issue with flashing unbranded firmware on my S5 as it always told me wrong partition size (I think for CSC). Flashing in binary form fixed it. So probably (safe) repartition phone is only possible this way.
Another thing you can try is to downgrade your firmware to KitKat. For me it helped once restoring lost IMEI in combination with EFS Professional.
But if your IMEI is still alright (*#06#) make a EFS Backup first. Samsung made it far too easy to corrupt EFS partition, happened to me already a few times, but always had a backup after the first time that fixed it in a minute. Otherwise it's a lot of work.

That's also my idea, never used it on the SGS2.
Still it doesn't flash. Just flashed XWLPI, that was no problem at all. Flashing this one just stops after:

<ID:0/004> boot.bin
<ID:0/004> NAND Write Start!!
and then a <FAIL> message and it stops updating
Same here!
for china
the bootloader of chinese rom is different, you must flash u1_chn_mapdata.pit、U1_bridge_bootloader_CHN_signing.tar first!

I flashed it and it was fine except for losing my google account and no option to restore it. Then I restored my Nandroid backup of XXLQ5 but now my phone doesn't show any signs of life, not even a charging animation. I assume I need to find a JTAG service but just in case, does anyone have a better option? It's a good thing that my S3 is on it's way.

I did the same procedure restoring a CM9 Backup with CWM manager. Now my Galaxy S2 is dead. I'm waiting for tomorrow to do the JTAG procedure .

I also read often that flashing with pit is not advised and dangerous.

ARM Trust Zone. (link)
The zeros in the other PIT file is padding.
Which is which, is the padded the one you downloaded or the one comming with the update?
Not sure if the padding it required for flashing, I suppose not, so if they are identical expect for those zeros, they are identical.
The pit "with zeros" is the one I downloaded from the device.
The one without zeros is the one found on the internet (I suppose 29.03.2012 version).
Sent from my Galaxy SIII
The padding is probably done by Odin anyway.

I actually want to reflash everything possibly onto my phone. I believe the modem area is corrupted because I can get data but no talk or text. It's a common issue and people say only sending the device to Samsung will fix it, but the phone is from the UK and I live in the US. How would I go about flashing these with ODIN, and would they do anything? I've tried EVERYTHING possible to fix the issue, including flashing new modems, ROMs, stock ROMs, kernels, formatting partitions, etc.
Im curious if there is a full firmware that will format all data on the phone. Like DATA.IMG in galaxy s2 i9100.

Well it IS on SamMobile and labeled as T-Mobile USA: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N910T3/
There are actually SM-N910T, SM-N910T2, and SM-N910T3 acording to the Bluetooth SIG site: https://www.bluetooth.org/tpg/QLI_viewQDL.cfm?qid=25312
My guess is they are just different hardware revisions of the T-Mobile USA variant. I remember the Note 3 had at least two hardware revisions, the second one had a different display driver chip than the first one and TRWP had to build a new version for it to make the screen brightness work again.
This firmware image could be just a "common" firmware image for all three revisions.

Yea, that's gonna be nice and easy for a member who doesn't know what to trust, or where to look, or which numbers mean what, come on, use your head, do you realise how many model numbers it would likely say in that app if the firmware has already been modified to say G900F?
Download mode is nice and easy for all to remember and doesn't require installing 3rd party apps, not to mention, OP already stated it says G900V in download mode, and I would have thought someone as high and mighty as yourself would have already known that download mode is always correct, no?

I appreciate your reply. So here's the deal. I bought this from eBay thinking it was gonna be an unlocked G900A to use with cricket. I then realized it was modified and by that time the seller wouldn't do anything about it. So you're saying that even though the G900F and G900V have the same specs, I can't install the marshmallow firmware? Also, if I received a modified phone, wouldn't the bootloader already be unlocked?

The problem is the bootloader, stock ROMs have different BLs for each model, so for example, (iirc) the G900T is more or less identical to the G900F, but the bootloaders and modems are different, meaning you can not flash the stock ROM of one to another, but, if you mod the ROM to be flashable in custom recovery such as TWRP, then without the BL or Modem present in the ROM, it will flash, and will work perfectly
I had the G900T 5.1.1 running on my G900F when we were still stuck on 5.0
But it was modded for TWRP
As for whether or not your phones bootloader is unlocked, you'd have to try flashing something that needs an unlocked BL, an earlier stock ROM for example (Or check that BL unlock thread, see if there is a test)
Chances are the phone was either rooted, and the build.prop edited to change the settings about info to G900F, or there's another trick I don't know about yet that they use to push modded firmware onto non G900F phones
See it a lot here, loads of people with non G900F getting ripped off by sellers changing the model number or firmware to say G900F, but you can't change Download mode, which is why we always say to trust that
Personally, I would flash a stock G900V 6.0.1 firmware to it (Available on sammobile .com / samfirm tool) (or give flashing TWRP a shot, then you have custom ROMs to play with, but I'd check the BL status first if you can, don't want to cause a brick)

Hello,
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Tmobile - Unlocked (Came with T mobile bloatware)
I had bought SM-G935T unlocked, I was using it with Lycamobile and I wasn't getting proper reception. I played around with ODIN and installed SM-G935U then SM-G935T again but this time, I updated to 8.0.
After flashing, I cannot make phone calls, cannot receive phone calls, cannot use LTE or mobile data network. Tried with other sim cards but nothing works. Wifi and Bluetooth works fine, everything else works fine in the phone.
Can someone help?

I flashed everything a couple of times.
even Home CSC and CSC (nonhome)
Took it to Samsung customer care, they flashed it a couple of times too.
Still no Network (no calls - outgoing/incoming and no Mobile internet), However sim gets recognised - ATT, Tmobile, lyca, Ultramobile

So what should I do? I think when the phone came it was SM-G935(F).
Should I Install Latest Sm-G935F?
Or if its something else, can you share link?

if the hardware id a G935F, then flash the most current G935F firmware on it, factory reset in recovery afterwards, profit, go have a sammich because you fixed your phone make sure you do this in exactly this order, the last two are optional, but recommended

you can flash any G935 firmware to any G935 device and it will boot as long as the kernel is written for the type of processor you have in your device. If its a snapdragon, any snapdragon G935 tar.md5 will work and boot, likewise with the xynos based tar.md5's. Ive flashed a G935f on a G935V before and it worked fine
