Hi guys , trying to install TWRP recovery brikei my LG G2 Lite He does not care more ( not even light up the screen). Still vibrating when I try to call , and when I connect to the PC where it should appear the internal memory and SD card appear two folders (image date and if I remember correctly ) . Know any way to recover it?

Can you enter download mode? Try to find how to do it for your model... This forum section is for the G2 (not lite)... You need to find out how to enter download mode in your device and, if you could, find the official ROM for you device and find out how to flash it there. But not with the tools for the G2 found in this section as they are different devices.

Well, there's no way to link it in download mode, for he died even (not lit the way of any screen, even when cocoloco to load ..), the only way to fix this would be restoring the qhsusb_bulk, as shown in this video : rolleyes: https://www.google.com.br/url?sa=t&...l1QLEiLl9bc6BBSPOdE0jAg&bvm=bv.86956481,d.cWc ... I was trying to update my LG G2 to Lollipop using German official release available since yesterday. The problem I'm having is that the firmware update mode goes to x % then I can see red text "Assert" in the second line and then phone restarts and shows 0% and doing nothing. LGFlashTool2014 is showing message that something went wrong (or similar) and I can try again. It's happening all the time - over and over - sometimes it's 30%, sometimes 60%. I was trying to back to KitKat using LG Mobile Support Tool - same situation. When I'm trying to restart my phone, it's restarting to download mode all the time :/

Ok, after about 4 hours I fixed it using TOT method (version D80210b for Europe). So if there's a problem with KDZ method, maybe anyone knows when - or if - it will be Lollipop version for TOT method?

So - after I bring my G2 to life using TOT method and older KitKat I thought I could try with Lollipop again. And now it works! Good morning to Lollipop! So I hope it might be helpful for others with similar problems
What I did exactly?
1. Trying to install Lollipop using KDZ method and something was going wrong all the time - keep restarting to download mode.
2. Performed hard reset.
3. Fixed problems by installing downgrade using TOT method.
4. Installed Lollipop using same file I was trying to use before and I chose Normal Flash method.
5. Good morning to Lollipop!

Based on the title, you must be wondering this is yet another newbie asking whether you can flash the ROM of one phone on another. I can assure you that is not the case. I will explain.
A few weeks back, a friend of mine bought an LG G2 D802 from eBay India for $300. There were D800 (AT&T) listings that were cheaper but my friend needed D802 itself since that is the model that is sold in India and therefore service won't be an issue.
The phone came. The back cover said D802. The About screen said the same. I even checked the IMEI with the LG URL for firmware check and that page said D802 as well. So everything is fine.
Two weeks later, the touchscreen develops touch issues. So he decides to replace it and takes it to the authorised LG Service Center. They opened the phone and said the connector of D802 LCD Digitizer is different and cannot be connected to the mainboard of the phone. I also checked online at Ali Express for screen replacements and there some sellers mention that the connector of D802 is different from all other versions.

Inside the phone, the mainboard also mentions D800 on some areas. Eventually we ordered a D800 LCD screen and that worked. So the hardware is done.
Now comes the software. It looks like the seller replaced the back cover of a D800 with D802. Not just the hardware but he also managed to overwrite the IMEI with a D802 IMEI that originated in Thailand (according to LG firmware page). Currently the phone is on KitKat. Both D800 and D802 have received Lollipop officially. Here are my questions.
The phone believes it is D802 although it probably is D800. Should I allow the phone to update itself with a D802 software update?
I am willing to root and flash a custom recovery (again a question of recovery for which version - D800 or D802). But even so, the ROMs of which model should I try?
For the most part, D800 and D802 hardware is the same. So what are the risks of flashing D802 firmware on D800 or viceversa?

Also noticed today MB has D800 printed on the back. Is there any way if I can tell if it's 16GB or 32GB?

my phone struck into fastboot mode
then i used d800 partitions and able to manage my phone back into download modeby following method

You should have your answer in your question. The custom recovery is just as dependent on the variant as is a ROM. So flash the same variant of ROM as you did with recovery.

I have read in many posts that flashing roms on this phone can lead to permanent brick
I had root and recovery flashed already when i bought it i dont know which model recovery it is
but i flashed dorimanx kernel on it after many tries (The one for d800).
Now what i want to ask is have you flashed any custom rom on it?

Yes i have ported custom roms like cm 12, cloudy 2.2 and now am on cloudy 3.2
As my actuall device is d800(although fake d802) i just flash for d800 and it worked...dont go for d802 you ll end up by brick
Going back to official lollipop here is the method
1-go back to stock 20c(kitkat) via tot method as following

if you already have twrp installed on your device then download latest recovery for your device from this page

and then download bootloader kk(my device is actual d800(fake 802 though) i use d800 files that is d80020y bootloader) from the same page http://blastagator.ddns.net/
then reboot to recovery flash latest recovery 2.8.7.1 and reboot to recovery
then flash bootloader d80020y and reboot device to recovery (do not reboot to system)
then advance wipe except internal storage
flash cloudy g2 3.2
do it if you have d800 not any other

Is there a way to differentiate between D800 and D802 hardware without opening the back cover. Looks like I also have a d800 with d802 back cover and IMEI number flashed.

Unfortunately no...even number written in the back is not 100% reliable ...true model number is punched on mother board
You can just remove back cover and the model number written in the bottom and over strips and antena if matches then its confirmed no further deassembling
There is a tutorial on YouTube how to open back cover of lg g2
Its easy and simple do it carefully and its not a big deal

Thank you Umer,
I opened the case and the model number printed on the inside, lower left corner is D801/D803. I bought it from local market in Lahore and the shopkeeper told me that it's a D802. It got bricked when I tried to update it to Android 5.0 using the official LG update tool. The Fastboot mode was also not working so I returned it to the shop, and they recovered it using jtag. but this time they flashed d800 (AT&T) firmware. I want to install TWRP recovery on it, but I am not sure which version I should install. I don't want to brick the device again.

Hey. I have the same problem as that guy does. I too want too install cloudy's rom but currently im running the stock kk rom for lg g2 on my fake d802(actually d800).
Right now when i flash a rom for the d802 and reboot system on the top left corner of the screen it says fastboot mode started and udc start but i am able to enter into recovery and restore my fake d802 rom. If i do what you hve stated here, would i be able to install the rom? I have exactly the same problem. I bought the g2 from hafeez center in lahore beleiving it was the d802 but i opened it up and saw that on the back of the main board it was written d800. I dont know what version of boatloader im running and it came pre rooted and pre installed with cwm recovery.Please help me install a lollipop rom.

Yar in cwm model number already written in the bottom confirm from there too
Best thing is go back to kitkat 20 c by following method http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-g2/general/links-manually-forcing-ota-20c-to-20u-t2828874
Skip 4.2.2 thing and start from step 1 to 4 then you ll officially be on d800 with every thing d800
Then root your device with towelroot app
then manually update to 20y(kitkat) followed by 30f lollipop)by this method

So after I rooted my device I was playing around with Xposed Firmware. And I was thinking if there was any way to "unlock the bootloader" and put a custom recovery . So if any of you knows any way please let me know
I already tried Flashfire

No there isn't any way , yet. Only android 5.1.1 version got that option. ! MetroPCS got that version but You're not there If Leon get 5.1.1 Android 5.1.1 Roms will come

So what about flashing the H345 or any other LG Leon 5.1 kdz to our phones? Do you think that may worth a try?

Nice question i can give you a real life example, One day i install that version with no problems ,i unlock the bootloader , install the TWRP and then the rom. Everything was working fine (exept the rom bugs) exept the signal. If i was at America and had an Metro PCS card i would use 5.1.1 . Since i'm not there i can't install a firmware from another mainland. I doesn't know from people living in America like T-Mobile or AT&T or i don't know anything else, i ain't sure if it will work for them.
P.S : As i read from some news about LG Leon, we gonna get the update 5.1.1 , but i don't know when.
I have a way of getting android 5.1.1

i need to know the country & carrier of your device to find the correct kdz file to update your device to android 5.1.1 manually
also the exact model name as well

But arent any 345 and 340 essentially the same device (Leon c50)?
As I dont have tested so much with lg devices, I may be wrong. But if the device is incorrect shouldnt the flash process fail? I have locked bootloader, so shouldnt I be able to install my factory kdz even if the flash process fails for using incorrect kdz?
And one more doubt: which versions are 5.1.1? D e and f? Also, is downgrade possible from d e and f to a version?

I don't know since some sources say you can't downgrade while others say you can

All the kdz files are defined by country, model, & carrier
It may not brick your phone if you flash the wrong one, but you probably wont be able to recieve calls or even read the language on your device since you flash another country/carrier.

Well for the sake of trying, that wont be a trouble. The only trouble would be not being able to access firmware upgrade mode after an incorrect kdz, or not being able to downgrade. I'd love to be sure about that, but I found no certain info around :/
I only tried another version (no carrier) for my h340ar and worked perfecty, but both were argentinian kdz and v10a. I wanted to try v10d e or f and see what happens. But this is my only device and here theyre expensive

I think TMO 5.1 version should work for me because i have Polish TMO sim.

i need the images so i could flash them through Fastboot.
i am unable to work with download mode because of an error. so i need those images so i could flash rom through fastboot.

and according Gsmarean the lg spirit has 2 models, one has MTK and the second has Qualcomm:
Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 - H440N
Mediatek MT6582 - H420
mine is the H440. will it work with a Qualcomm processor ???

yes, it is for mediatek, you need to search how can you do that for your processor, once you get in the download mode flash a stock kdz and thats it, the phones not dead, is really hard to hard brick our device, dont worry just be patient, flash boot.img, logo.bin, recovery.img, uboot.img, send me your email adress and ill reply you with the files
