Hi,
I noticed that titanum backup cause gps to stop working !! everytime I restore my full system backup gps doesn't work after restoration ! The only solution is to flash stock rom to get gps working again!! Checked different backups and all same once I restore backup gps stops working !! Anybody face same problem ???
Restoring the system data, particularly between ROMs, is iffy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Just don't do it, it's easier.
Restore only user apps and I'll bet you will be fine. I just stopped using the system backup stuff. When it works, it's nice, but when it doesn't, you get all sorts of weird stability issues. The only stuff I really lose are things like wifi and bluetooth passwords and selected ringtones. Nothing I can't reset simply. It helps that I use ADW launcher, so when I restore that I get my desktops and such back.

I have never had this issue and I swear by Titanium Backup. Hands down the most used app on my phone. But yes if you are doing a full restore w/system data, there could be chances of this happening. I usually do a full restore w/system data and if I run into problems. I wipe and just restore user apps.
Ok, so I have made a number of nandroid backups and after doing some ROM flashing I decided to restore to one of them. I am using TWRP2.6.0.0 and when I clicked on restore it went through all the normal processors for boot, system and recovery but when it reached the data section it took the usual time to restore data (300 secs or so) but then an error message appeared.OK I thought to myself, this backup must just be corrupt so I tried a previous one but the exact same thing occurred. I decided to reboot anyway and it booted up fine but strangely it seemed like the data had already been restored, Google account was logged in, alarms were set ect, but when I launched an app all the data had been erased. I have tried restoring backups using TWRP 2.5.0.0 and 2.6.0.0, backups both with and without compression and restoring each part indevidualy but still I got the same results. As I had no titanium backup data for most of my apps I used an app called nandroid manager root. This let me access the app data from by nandroid backups and restore them and that worked fine. For a while everything worked fine until I noticed a few of my apps had been uninstalled, exposed installer, too manager, 3d mark and few more, I tried redownloading from the play store but I keep getting "app not installed errors" I have also tried installing the apk and using root apps to install it but I keep getting errors. this makes me think some files must'be restored from the nandroid and are not letting the app be installed. I'm not sure and I'm quite a noob but I am wondering if their's anyway to fix this without factory reseeting and if theirs any way to get future nandroid backups to work. Thank you.
I searched and haven't found anything that's worked.
My phone was running fine after I flashed the crDroid rom. I then used Titanium Backup to only restore Bluetooth Connections, to see if it'd work. I had tried this same thing before with a full restore, and kept getting stuck in a Boot Loop, and had to restore and wipe constantly.
Now after I rebooted, it's giving me the "System UID Inconsistent - Please Wipe Data Partition .... I'm Feeling Lucky"
I press the I'm Feeling Lucky, and a lot of apps are gone. Is there a fix for this other than restoring and reformatting again? I've downloaded the Fix Permissions app from the App store, but no luck.
Thanks for any help!

I think you have not changed the settings in TB to the "legacy" folder. Search the forum for solutions
Probably the cleanest solution HERE
Hello guys, I'm facing a problem.
So I recently made a nandroid backup. I installed just a small mod but didn't liked so I restored
my backup. When I started up I did get a google play services and google process gapps stopped message.
As I clicked OK I immediately tried to open other apps but they all FC. I didn't get error on recovery and
also wiped cache and dalvik. Still facing this problem, what could be the problem? I'm on stock deoxed rom
Well thats normal when you didn't fully wipe. Always fully wipe before restoring backups.
I got a error message: android_secure.img not found
Sounds like this is the proble, but can't seem to find how to fix it..
Oh nice -.- was about to flash stock rom but won't work, write protection is enabled wtf!??
can't do it with odin anybody knows something??
Hi
After I made a backup and flash rom to test it I wanted to restore my previous phone setting. I made a restore but now pics doesn't want to load in flipboard and twitter. I tried to clear cache and factory resets but none of them work. Have you got any ideas how to sort this out? Thank you.
