Hey guys i have a 2 week old s7 edge and i noticed that the android os "sent data via wifi" alot. Is this normal? Or is my data leaking out? I didnt root or anything and i already factory reset like 10x. Appreciate any info about this matter.

did you disable all the send anonymous report options in the settings?
Do you mean the location services logging? If so then yes ive already turned that off. Also turned off google now and disabled all google apps i dont regularly use
Here are some more screens

I wonder the same as I have this issue too. I had the same for 'Enhanced Features' from Samsung (profile sharing, see app at bottom of screenshot), I had it disabled and it still sends data. I ended up disabling that thru this Samsung-site. I have disabled all reporting stuff (found 4 in total scattered in all settings) but to no avail, even Samsung Push Services keeps sending data Even Facebook send stuff while i never used the app, I hate this stuff.
What does this profile sharing do?

It lets you send/share stuff thru the Samsung Cloud with other people who have this feature enabled.
Already deregistered. Hopefully it helps

Do not pay attention to this if you have stock samsung 4.3.
Some app you installed gives you really annoying ads. Think about what you installed lately and un install it.
Edit: install some free antivirus and check your phone.

This happened from today morning..I uninstalled all programs that I installed for past 2 days..and tried all kind of anti virus possibilities(I.e trust go, avast, lookout and avg pro) they all say my phone has no virus..even checked with lookout ad detector still no hope the ad shows every time I turn my phone on plus the bad thing is when I press my lock key the phone doesn't lock(as if I didn't set any security level)..well thanks for your response I formated my phone now everything seems to be going well

Did you try "ads push detector" or similar app?
Yes I tried Ad detector, Airpush Ad detector and Trustgo Ad detector non of them gave me a clue to the problem

AndroidOS uses all my 3G data. I don't have my 3G on often, but when I do it keeps downloading in the background.

I have read somewhere that it is some kind of samsung backup thingy. If thats the case I dont wanna disable it but only allow it with wifi conection
3G is really expensive in our country.

Turn off the backup and restore that's in your screen shot, it's this that is eating your data because everything, contacts, call logs, settings, apps are being backed up to Google.

Is there no way to limit that so it wont use my 3G or if I would send a bug report where should I send it to?

Not that I know of, it's just on or off ?

Goto Settings/Data usage/Restrict background data and it will reduce the data apps use without you knowing.

It's always been normal for my older phones to have both on at the same time. I assumed the wifi would take precedence dunno.
On my new S7E I saw a setting for fast downloads that uses both at the same time. You might have that turned on.
It's called download booster under, settings, wireless and networks, more.

Have the same issue on mine after the update where both shows up. When this happens its usually in an area where data and wifi aren't strong so it seems that it uses a combined signal from both for faster connections. Usually I just turn off wifi and turn it back on and then it'll be wifi only.

As already said by @Flintlock take a closer look at the following settings:
Turn download booster off

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. Every once in a while I get a pop up notification from Google. Opening it, it directs me to Google settings. Is it telling me I need to change something? I didn't think so. Everything seems to be working fine. More annoyingly, I can't swipe it away. It seems the only way to get rid of it is to reboot the phone. Can anyone enlighten me as to what's going on here?
Thanks very much for any help & here is screen shot of what I'm talking about.

See this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3366469 It seems to be something to do with Nova launcher.

Thanks very much for that. Narrowing it down to something to do with Nova launcher is a start at least. I'll research further. It's still very annoying though!

Hmm I occasionally get this pop up when I say ok Google from the lock screen with ok Google always on enabled. It appears for a couple of seconds then goes away, I thought it was to say Google now is recording audio?

So basically whenever I turn my phone on I get this notification, I tried to ignore it for as long as I could, but seeing this notification every time I turn on my screen is driving me nuts, any help would be highly appreciated.

Do you have any 3rd party launchers/widgets installed ? You may want to look into that list of apps first. I would also uninstall lesser known apps first, one by one, and check which one caused the issue
I actually did that, no widgets, no launcher just the page you see in the screen shots, no lesser known apps, nothing fixes it.

I'm not sure if this would work, but try disabling Nearby Device Scanning from settings and see if this fixes the issue.
I used to get that when the profile sharing thing was enabled, can't remember what it is called exactly but it was a Samsung thing that lets you share your gallery to family members etc. I debloated my phone though so can't remember the name exactly.
I don't get the error when I'm connected to WiFi only get the error when I'm not connected to any data or when I'm on 4g.
