Unless someone knows a better response because I'm not familiar with the ins/outs of Kingroot on the MXP my guess would be you need to factory reset: https://motorola-global-en-roe.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_answer_detail/a_id/106491/p/30,6720,9392
Next time don't use Kingroot for this device because it's easy enough to root properly without it. Good luck!

I rooted my Moto G (Android 4.3, german) with your video and all works fine.
But just in the moment, there come a message that I could upgrade to version 4.4. This I have done. However, the update process does not work. CWM will always report that the file is not signed. If I want to install them nevertheless, it aborts with an file error. Unfortunately, my phone now reboots after each start and tried to install the update. I need help! What can I do?

you can fastboot restore the device to 4.4.2 to get it updated or just install a rom like CM11 which is based on 4.4.2

What makes more sense for the future? Do I need to do anything complicated each time I update the original operating system?
If so, then I switch to CM.
I cannot install cm, because I have no chance to download the zip file. My phone constantly performs a reboot.
How can I fastboot restore the device to 4.4.2? Is there a way without lock the phone again? In your unbrick video you used a batch-file named "Restore US-retail_XT1032_KXB20.9-1.8-1.4_CFC.bat". Can I use the file also for german phones?
Excuse the newbie questions. I always try to study a new subject until I can properly understand it. Your videos are ideal for this.
Thank you! it worked and I am now rooted!

Thanks, it worked fine. I got root on my Moto G.
Just had not seen that unlocking the bootloader erases all data on the phone.
And this same method will work for the Boost CDMA version?

Rooting

Good Night guys,
First, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place, I'm new here. I want to root my LG Optimus L3 II e435f dual, 'cause, just like any Linux user, I need freedom... well, I've been trying two ways:
First One:
Software: Kingo Root Android 1.2.2
It fails in the end, saying "NeedRoot" as error message. I've tried even shutdown de antivirus, but didn't work
I think I did everything ok, but I can't understand
Second:
Software: framaroot
In framaroot 1.4.1, any exploit gives me this message: "Faile ... Try other exploit if available". In 1.6.0 or above, the program crashes with SuperSU and Gandalf, and gives the same message in other configurations.
Also, I've tried with unlockroot one-click-"something", but nothing
Please, help me understande this issue. Thanks for the help
Need 2 more details

Can you root the Amazon variant of the Moto G5 plus

Hi, I have the Amazon variant of the Moto g5 plus. Recently I've been trying to root my device and i've kept getting an error when I try to run the first command. Can someone please help because I would really love to root my device.
As far as ik you can't do that.
This has been discussed a lot here, please search or browse first before starting another thread on it. That said, only the 'Standard Version - Without Offers or Ads' Amazon models can have the bootloader unlocked, so either forget root or return yours for a standard model.
Please let me know if you find a way!
Could you please let me know if you find a way around. Thank you!

ONCE AGAIN!! Because Amazon has a deal with Motorola... Motorola will not give you the code to unlock the bootloader on an Amazon Prime phone. No unlocked bootloader, no root. Period.
Can we flash official images to get updates faster? I am in Antarctica, so our carrier doesn't push through updates.
