The Screen is not that strong..

I'm starting to see several scratches on the screen already, there are a couple of tiny scratches on the back of the phone as well. The thing is that I have not dropped this phone yet! nor have I placed it in my pocket along with keys and coins... I am very meticulous about my gadgets and take good care of them but I have no idea how these scratches got on this phone?! anyone else having this issue?
The back of this phone is probably a glassy material u need to be careful with that obviously.. Buy a back cover

I noticed that too. Have been careful but still got some little scratches on the screen
Yeah .. U can get a tempered glass for your phone's back part
Sent from my YU5010 using Tapatalk
Yeeaah, I already got a tiny crack.. On the top of the screen and the bottom from a very minor fall actually.. It's not the strongest of screens indeed. It never had any gorilla glass if I recall correctly, right? Anyone have suggestion on a good screen protector and something for the back too?
just noticed the same on mine. its always in a case in an empty pocket. never dropped and never had anything touch the screen. If it gets really bad in the next 3 months, smash the screen.
Lol the scratches just keep appearing all over my screen and the back of the phone... I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how this is happening! I have OCD, I treat my phones like delicate jewelries lol and no I do not want to put this beautiful phone in an ugly case...

That is awful...
My screen too is becoming full of these tiny scratches.. This phone only left home once. This is way too fragile. Disapponted
Can confirm, I've got several scratches on the back of the phone. Got it for one week. I'm always carrying it in my backpack in a small pocket there without keys and such. I was always placing it on a cloth or a paper. Shame it got scratched so fast. My guess is that they did the same as sony and applied an anti shatter sticker on top of anti scratch glass and that's why it gets scratched so easily. I'm really disappointed with this because I don't want to put such a beautiful phone into a case.
One more, but only in the back. And my case is coming yet...?

using a tempered glass protector is always nice.
Use a tampered glass for front and a transparent case for the back.

We should contact dBrand to make skins for Honor 8. If they'll get enough requests they'll release its skins, which will protect the glassy back.

Honor 8 isn't waterproof, water resistant and is not IP certified. So the moment it goes inside, you're busting the components inside.

Do you saw Any destruction videos bro?
its not certified, so there is no reason to test it. it will die just like P9 ad honor9, and those videos should be easy to find.
if you check disassembly vids, you'll se that only glass is glued, there are gaps on all exposed parts/ports and no rubber, glue or coating. phone might survive, and keep on working for a while, but it'll eventually die from corrosion.

I'm not sure about dunking it in water, but it seems to do fine during slight drizzles of rain.

I spilled water many times ,they drain to earpiece too , lucky no damage to mydevice.
Dropped it in (clean) toilet. Fished it out immediately and dried off the external. Earpiece didn't work right for about 24 hours, but everything else did. Once it dried out for a day, earpiece worked again. No residual issues.
PSA: don't try this at home

?? Me and my device will die at a time.
It has to be IP certified for water resistant. Unless it is, no one gonna risk their beast baby

Nubia Z17 teardown?

Hi. I recently saw a blurry part on my display when I was taking a picture. Turned out, there seems to be a little bit of dust or something else on the camera lens. I already tried to remove it with a vacuum cleaner. Sadly no success. So I'm looking for a tutorial to teardown the device, to clean it inside.
I would be glad if someone could give me some kind of advice.
Teardown Nubia z17
Hello, I would be glad if someone can give me a hint, as I remove the back cover. I do not see any screws like the z17 mini or z11. I've already tried it with a vacuum tool. Unfortunately, that does not work

Circular thing on the back of the phone

Hello guys!
I have received an Axon 7 ( A2017G ) from a sibling and it has a circular thing glued to the back. I have attached a photo. I think the phone comes from a showroom or something.
Do you guys know if it can be taken off without damaging the back housing or it's part of the housing?
If not, do you know a reliable place where I can buy a back/front housing replacement from? Thanks!

Need Some Advice Regarding Screen

I dropped my phone yesterday and there's a scratch on the screen. My phone came with the screen protector preinstslled and I was just wondering if the crack could just be on the screen protector as everything works fine. If it is infact the screen does anyone know where I can find a screen replacement video? As I haven't been able to

You fractured the glass and could replace the glass, which is a pain in the a*s. You are better off just replacing the screen and LCD
Glass

LCD and Glass

If you do it yourself you will also need 3m tape and glue. As well as a tool kit made for removing the screen, and a hairdryer. Be very careful not to damage the cables., when removing the cracked screen.
If you have never replaced a phone screen yourself and you live near a city, it will cost around $30 to have someone with the tools and expertise to do it for you. ( totally worth having someone else do it.)

When I get around to actually replacing it sure. Just a bit busy now so it's on the back burner. Since the phone is fully functional
