As you may have seen, Samsung has a new preview of the SystemUI available.

It looks very nice imo and a friend of me has a S6 Edge + , on that phone, it also works but we need MM
Is there any way to port this to Lollipop?
Or is here anyone that can explain how I can port it ?

Hello there, ordered my Note 3 days ago, still waiting for it, now time for questions :
I'm looking for a rom with full spen capabilities but based on AOSP or anything smoother than Touchwizz (& also more customizable)
Does it even exist ? I don't want to lose Spen fonctionality but I don't like Touchwizz... argh
Any recommandation ?
Or is it possible to mod touchwizz to make it look like lighter ? I'll like to center clock, battery % IN the battery icon, change those ugly notification icons...
I think it's easier to install another rom right ?
How should I update it ? I will receive it with JellyBean, I want KitKat but I don't want to lose the waranty with knox... but I want root of course
Can somebody link me to a tutorial ? Or explain me ?

Try Cyanogenmod but you will loose Samsung features...

I would like to ask you about an aosp rom with samsung futures.. cause i hate touchwiz.. the settings.. the statusbar and everything.. I have been searching for a long time but could not find anything about such roms.
So my question is: Is it possible to take a rom like CM 12 and add featuers like the power saving mode of TW or a fingerprintscanner support for that rom... Would be great to hear about a rom like that

No. Closed source makes it difficult. Personally I find touchwiz sufficient and can't wait for lollipop.
But couldn't anyone take the priv apps and port then for cm and add a setting for the priv apps then or something ?
And lollipop will be great... but much will be white.. they take a amoled display and then they do everything in white ?! Thats dumb...

There's a reason no one has done it in the years that aosp and touchwiz custom ROMs have been around
Mods generally are written from scratch in aosp ROMs

If it were that simple I would do it myself, your only hope is a google play edition but I reckon even if we get one it won't have a fingerprint sensor. And I don't really believe the whole black is better battery thing. I mean sure pixels off is but a lot of the time we actually get pixels showing a dark shade rather than off. You would have to spend a lot of time in settings or sms to care is what I'm saying. Plus if anything like my nexus 7 lollipop will improve battery and counteract this. But samsung may screw it up, pray that they don't cos kitkat got it right and made touchwiz an artistic and useful interface. White is used because its more pleasing to the eye than that bluey grey thing they got going on

You could try Alliance ROM with AOSP theme
screen of korean s6 with marshmallow (not mine)

after my lovely galaxy s7 edge got a broken screen, i decided to get the s8...
Im a customrom-power-user so, i cant really life with that crappy samsung stockrom, because i cant really theme something and that just ruins my life... okay okay lets come to the point:
is it possible to resize the navbar and change the icons? and is the force touch feature only for the "homebutton" area or for the complete screen?

I think you can change the icons of the navbar not really sure on resizing them, maybe in the future I guess. Seen an s8 with a pixel navbar on youtube. And yes, the force touch is only applicable in the home button area.

I saw the NX team's Infinity Wallpaper
As the same one in the S8
And at Renier's Advanced Seven Rom
I saw the Note8's Infinity Wallpaper ported...
So I'm wondering if Note3 the same MM could
Port the Infinity Wallpaper, the xda note4 devs
Could actually do the porting!!!
Soo if u guys can port it in
The Air Rom or the Nemesis Refind
(Or maybe the new nougat rom??)
