Hi
Firstly I'm not rooted, I have a few apps inc tapatalk that although it allows me to choose a custom notification sound the app actually uses the phones default one!
Do you think this is an app problem or a problem with marshmallow?
Pete.

Hi folx.
I got this phone today.
So i have few questions about it. All questions consider rooting phone, but not putting custom rom
1. Is Light Manager working on this phone or we are doomed to use Light flow?
2. Can i put some shortcuts to unlocking circle?
3. How can i remove google search bar on stock launcher?
4. Can i add some more shortucts to switches menu in notification bar?
5. Can i change color on softbuttons?
If i remember something more, i will write it here
Thanks i advance

Hi,
1) Light Manager works perfectly, I use it.
2) Custom rom.
3) Not possible if I remember right, need to use an alternative launcher like Nova / Apex or a moded stock launcher.
4) Custom rom or maybe with an existing mod (I doubt)?
5) Custom rom or take a look here but here the colors are limited.
Mainly what you are asking is in almost all the custom roms...
Thanks a lot for response!
Tell me, is it possible to add wather widget on lockscreen as widget?
Thanks in advance

Check out dash clock widget. If that's not what you're looking for and want full size widgets then try a custom ROM.

Many custom ROMs have a feature that allows you to put any widget on the lockscreen.
It looks like you need to start flashing!
Ahhh.. I wanted to use stock for few weeks.. Ive heard that there is one kernel that is working best with stock rom and makes battery life much more better.
P.s. can i recieve ota if i am rooted?
P.p.s. does build number affect ota updates (like on galaxy nexus)?

hi guys, when I use a custom ringtone, the ring seems to be cascading. for example, it starts off quietly then randomly blasts the sound full volume. I haven't touched any settings and my ringtones are all standard .mp3 files cropped with ringdroid. when I use the pre-installed ringtones it doesn't do this but it vibrates first and then rings. any tips? thanks.
It's called ascending ringtone... normal stock galaxy behavior. Most custom roms disable it or have the option to disable it. I dont think there is a stock setting to turn it off though cant remember for sure and dint have time to check.

In order to rid yourself of this, the only solution I have found thus far is the app "Disable Increasing Ring."

Changing icon size all depends on which launcher you use.
I know that Next Launcher has the option to change icon sizes, and disabling text and
there are some other launchers which can do that too.
Same thing holds true for removing icon names on home screen as well as in app drawer.
Next Launcher has that feature too, some other launchers also have it as well.
These two things you are asking about has to do with which launcher you use
and has nothing to do with which custom rom you are using.
Check out the playstore, there are a lot of launchers there to choose from.
Best thing to do is while you are at the play store, install 5-6 of them and
that way you can check them all out for options and features and just keep
the one which is best suited for you.
Good luck!
Just took the plunge and went from galaxy s4 to lg g2 "why did i not do this sooner" All i can say is best phone i have ever owned battery is out of this world played all day yesterday and battery still on 64% amazing love the themes loads of features without even rooting. Now just a few questions when 4.4.2 comes out can you still hide app icons in app drawer lost this feature on my s4 when 4.4.2 came out also if i root how easy is it to update to 4.4.2 is it just like gs4 with odin or is it different

Just updated mine to 4.4 and yes I was able to hide icons in the app drawer, and it did not unhide the ones I had already hidden

Anyone seen a way to enable Samsung labs on the AT&T model? I want to disable the app drawer and use themes. Currently I have to use Hola Launcher to go without the app drawer but it's getting super bloated.
Thanks
By all accounts that I have seen that function has been removed from the AT&T model.
