Funny issue here. Well, not that funny.
I was running Phoenix 11.0 and tested CM13.0 then I realized rotation didn't work correctly. Just when I start a new rom -i've tested many and many ways to solve this- it runs normally and after a few minutes (I think lockscreen has something to do with this, it always happen *after* locked), rotation gets stuck. No accelerometer, no gyroscope at all....
I tried 2-3 6.0.1 ROMs and also I came back to Phoenix, flashing modem and bootloader also, and wiping even internal sd.
Does any one have had this? Can somebody tell me what to test more?
Thanks!

Hi. I'm having wifi issues with my Nexus. It started after flashing MIUI. I was using TWRP to flash, it took a while for the google logo to disappear and to get to the Xiaomi bootlogo. After it finally booted, the wifi was stuck to "turning on", but never ultimately firing up(couldn't get it to turn on nor off, even having turning it off). I've also noticed that I have the same EXACT issue with CyanogenMod. I completely returned to stock, i've relocked the bootloader and everything. I tried CM installer today and i'm rooted again with CM, but still I have the same exact issues as before. I don't have these issues with some other roms such as stock, official Omnirom and such, i wouldn't think it would be exactly a hardware issue, since it works just fine with certain roms. Would anyone have an idea why my phone is having this issue? It wasn't always this way. Specifically, I haven't been having issues with 4.4 roms. Does anyone think it could be something related to bootloader, or something?

i have a similar problem... i rooted my nexus and flashed a custom rom (PACman) when it boots wifi is disabled, also bluetooth doesnt work neither any sounds, no music, no speaker, nothing, so i flashed Paranoid android (both based on 4.3) and i had the same problem
so then i flashed stock, everything ok, then CrDroid (based en 4.4) everything ok, then OmniRom (Based on 4.4) everything ok too...
i posted it here and got no replies, hope someone could help
Yes, right now I'm running an unofficial CM 11, and no issues. I wonder if something needs to be downgraded, in order for things to be okay again. I would still like the option to be able to run 4.2/4.3 based roms. Maybe I could try flashing to stock 4.2 or 4.3, then reroot, and test my results

What radio/baseband version are you using?
Hi, I'm using AOKP last nightly builds and since 2013-10-18 Wi-Fi started to stuck, settings ui errors and other problems. So I just tried franko kernel with official AOKP releases and Wi-Fi now is working fine. But i've faced skype problems). After 4 minutes it hangs and i need to restart my phone.
Hi everyone! I have a hardware related issue here.
I have replaced the screen (+digitizer in a whole) and since then it is randomly going off and on. Interestingly it even did the same in recovery (TWRP 2.3) BUT not with every software! Installing the TWRP 2.6 or above stopped it happening in the recovery.
I have tried various ROMs so far. The Eclipse ver3 did not flicker, but it has a problem with the registering on a network here in the UK. Stock + stock based ROM (Rage 1.2) are also switching on-off. I am currently looking for a working ROM.
Please let me know if someone with the same problem can find one.
Also tried to play with developer options like Disable HW overlays or Force GPU rendering with no effect.
I wonder if it is a different hardware version of the replacement screen or what else can it be? (screen came from etradesupply)
Update - problem solved
Good news. Installing CyanogenMOD 11 solved the screen flashing issues and everything seems to work right. Thank you developers!
Hey guys,
I have a Galaxy S4 (i9500). I installed Omega ROM v22 on it and everything went smoothly, Wifi & BT working perfectly.
After a few hours of using the device (nothing special at all, texts and stuff like that) - I noticed my wifi isn't working and by not working I mean that I click the wi-fi button and it changes from gray to the mid-state between gray to green for around 20 seconds before it goes back to green ago.
If I open the menu to see my networks it just says "Enabling" without any networks there.
I had to drive somewhere so I went to my car and tried to enable Bluetooth, and same thing happens there - Bluetooth will not turn on and will stay stuck on mid-state between gray and green for a while and go back to green.
I flashed omega rom v22 again and the problem was gone, or so I thought. I went back to the car for another drive and realized the bluetooth issue is back - and when I got home I realized the wifi issue is back as well.
I figured I need to reset everything so I tried the following:
Full wipe (including dalvik and even including "internal SD card") and then flashing stock rom (from the official website, stock rom of my country).
The issue was back after a few hours. I do not have BT or Wifi access. Yesterday Wifi suddenly started working for a few hours but then it stopped working again.
I really need help! I have no idea what to do with this issue!
Well rule number one when you have problems after flashing without wipe.
1. perform a full wipe and see if the problem persists.

Tried that, no luck.
What else would you try?
In some places when people had problems with Wi-Fi they said to flash a different kernel but I don't see why I would have this specific issue with Omega Rom and why the default kernel with it wont work well?
Maybe this could be a root issue? My root works fine but I have this weird gut feeling like this is some permissions thing that's going on.
I'm trying to think why it would work right after the wipe but then stop working shortly after.
Another symptom: It randomly started working for a few minutes and then stopped again (around three hours ago).
Any idea what's going on?
Well, if you fully wiped and didn't restore any apps and settings then it can be two other things.
Or it's a bug in the rom or a hardware failure in your phone.
I would suggest trying a different rom first. Do not restore anything, not even your google account.
wi-fi fix?
Do you actually have an i9505? or is it a canadian or att version? if its the latter sometimes the devs offer some wifi-fixes, also try a different kernel. otherwise it could be that your radio/modem are not compatible with the version of the ROM you are flashing.
Tried arrow ROM and this issue doesn't seem to happen in this rom. Hope it stays like that...

Sadly, it did happen with this rom, after just a few hours.
I'm now using stock rom and still suffering from the issue.
Does anyone have ANY idea what I can do to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
After updating my zenfone 5 (intel 2.0GHz) to android Marshmallow screen locks and unlocks randomly when it's laying in landscape or horisontal position(if I handle it with any angle it also does, but less frequently)
I have no idea what to do. I have tried unofficial CM13.1 and Resurection Remix and it's the same(I made clean flash of course). Dirty unicorns doesn't boot at all, so I have no chance to check it.
Maybe I should flash any speciffic firmware to use marshmallow without problems but I have no idea wchich one... (Is there any step-by-step manual of moving to MM and flashing these ROMs? I'm not sure but i think I have used this one)
The second problem but a bit smaller is that I can't connect to the cellular data internet but i'd focus one the first one.
Here's the video:

If I enable any screen lock I just can't use the phone
Before Marshmallow update(on stock ROM, but unlocked) there was everything ok.
It also doesn't locks on TWRP, only on system
thats came from bootloaderunlock you can use cm 13.1 kernel and enable dnxfix for this second dirtyunicorn is booting when you came from cm based roms you must make a fullwipe then dirty is aosp thanks
Thanks
Ok, I flashed CM13.1 boot img. It's the same. I also tried to reflash whole CM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/development/cyanogenmod-13-t3382702 and it doesn't work.
The phone still locks and unlocks its screen :/
I made full wipe of course...
"dnxfix" - do you mean "dnfix" wchich is mentioned in cyanogen's thread? Ok, I'll try it. And slockfix. It looks promising
Have the same problem here. The problem goes away on airplane mode though.
I just started having an accelerometer issue. Suddenly my device started vibrating and turning the flash light on and off. Turns out the accelerometer was triggering the flashlight gesture. It is also screwing up my ability to use my camera because it thinks my phone orientation keeps changing. The only fix that I have found online is to do a factory reset but I am running TWRP and Nougat flashable stock build from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g5-plus/development/twrp-flashable-stock-builds-t3813351
I have tried flashing a backup I have from a couple months ago but that didn't help. Any advice on how to proceed is greatly appreciated. I do want to move up to Oreo but haven't taken the plunge yet because I need to research the issues with IMEI disappearing or something to that effect. I will do some research and maybe try to re-flash the Nougat stock build that I am running and see if that helps, after I backup all data.
Fixed it. Downloaded the build i was using and flashed it and it resolved the accelerometer issue.
