One more thing guys..i have bought my xolo play 8x 1100 last year and its been having issues with mic....there is no out going voice..i have sent it to service centre 4 times but the problem is persisting...does anyone know how to solve this issue permanently....voice recorder is working properly...but when i voice search or make calls there is no out going voice....receivers complain me that they dont hear me...i have searched alll over google but i could not find any solution...plz help me guys..

Same to same problem with my phone.
Phone worked properly for 6-8 months and after that the problem with that microphone started
just like your problem, microphone always works in sound recorder and when using any voice search or during call
microphone some time works and some time does not work. If microphone works when call starts then it works for
whole call but if it doesn't work at starting of call then it does not work at all for the call. so i used to use earphones(which have microphone) for call and voice search. i am using earphone for more than a year and it works always. i think that is the only solution.

I found out why my mic wasn't working correctly. I installed CM7 Nightly build 190. Reverted back to stock until I decide on another Rom. Now I'm being told I sound 60% better when on a phone conversation.

have you tried to use voice recorder and check the sound quality, if the problem still there then your hardware has issues, if not it might be the network issue, so change the radio.
I just got my Nexus 4 few days ago, these days i didnt make any call, just simply texting.
This afternoon i wanted to try voice search and found out that N4 didnt detect my voice.
Then i made few phone calls resulted in preventing people from hearing me.
I tried to record some videos, and same, i cant hear any stuff.
Does anyone has same issue as mine ?
what should i do now,
or should i just use custom rom ?
my n4 is not rooted and using stock rom as well

Try doing a Skype test call, if the problem persists, try doing a factory reset. If that doesn't work, RMA it with Google.

umm ive been having a little bit of problem with my Grand 2 from the past few days. Actually, whenever i try to Dial or Receive a call from SIM 2, i cant talk or hear anything. that is, the other person cant listen to what im saying and i cant listen to them either. its almost as if both my Microphone and the Speaker ( or Receiver, idk what you call it xD) are not working at all. but if i Dial or Receive a call via SIM 1 then everything just works perfectly fine.
Then, if i reboot my phone (a full reboot and NOT a hot boot) Calls from SIM 2 start working again. Weird thing is, that it only works for an Hour or so and then the same problem arises again.
I've tried changing the SIM but that didnt help at all so i dont think theres anything wrong with the sim card or the network as i AM getting a full and stable signal.
If anyones got any idea whats wrong. please help me out i'd really appreciate it.

It was probably an issue with the firmware itself haha. I dunno what happened but after the recent firmware upgrades both sims are working perfectly fine now. Can't be too sure about that though
Hi, i'm encountering a problem with the microphone of my one plus 2 that occured right after installing this custom ROM :

What happens is that the mic doesn't work when making a normal call, but works just fine with audio notes/skype/whatsapp etc.
I'm thinking about 3g/4g problems since the mic works with wi-fi services as i see. Does anyone have the same problem? It's preatty annoying...
FUN FACT: my girlfriend called me 4 times today and couldn't answer because of this... needless to say she got angry at me :crying: sooo it's urgent :silly:
On OxygenOS I had Cortana and when I was using Google now microphone and others apps which requires microphone I didn't work but for calls it worked for me and I don't know if there is Cortana is CyanogenMod 13 but if you disable/uninstall it I think i'll work (for me it worked)

Enable root, go to File Manager, /system/build.prop
change true to false in "persist.audio.fluence.voicecall"
credits to the person who shared,.
If it doesn't work, revert to Oxygen, clean flash again. Take backup though!

i'm having same problem. So i edited TO ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=none, FROM ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=fluence
Now i'm having very low voice of opposite party during the call.
Any fix to this?

Hello guys i have question about microphone in call, people cant hear me well in normal call only when on speaker, mic was replaced few months ago under warranty it was broken but now it is different, working fne when recording with stock recorder app but very quiet in calls, i think its software related now, any help is appreciate.

Have you try to flash stockrom again ? Reset or clear contact cache ?

Wipe them and contact app also because it's related to phone
