Try SD Maid, it's been one of my favorite play store purchases. Make sure to go thoroughly through the settings and options, their are extra things u can scan for that aren't enabled by default. Also take note of folders listed in the CorpseFinder since not everything listed are truly corpses it will think your TWRP folder among others are Corpses so make sure to add things to the Exclusions list. Double check the SystemCleaner too. It is a very powerful app with many features.

Hello,
I am currently running cm-11-20140324-NIGHTLY-vs980 on my Verizon LG G2 and have run into low storage issues. I have posted a screenshot showing this below. I should have used 16.81GB out of ~24GB, with ~7.2GB left over. However, somehow I am missing storage space and only have 2.7GB available.
When I installed cyanogenmod, I don't remember creating a partition and cannot figure out how I would determine this.
I am using clockworkmod 6.0.4.7 if that helps.
How can I hunt down that missing storage space?
Thank you!

It's in miscellaneous storage

If you add all of it up, the used space should leave me with ~7GB. However I have ~2GB left so that leaves 5GB unaccounted for that are not in misc.

Same for me on my d802 from 32 i have 24.5 and this is ok.
But i have as used space 16.5gb and it tell me that i have 4gb free, so...
24.5-16.5 should be something like 8gb... :/ also file managers tell me that i have used 16.5gb as total, i cant understand where i lost the space, missing about 4gb, wiping cache didnt solve the problem.
I am on cm12.1 based on temasek

Ok finally solved
Idk why wiping didnt delete this file.
Thanks to Disk Analizer i found that Internal Storage has 16gb but Media show 20.
Damn files were here /data/media/obb/ probably old obb file of games.
My obb now are stored in /data/media/0/android/obb.
The files in previuos folder arent used too. I still dont understand why they were not deleted.
However solved, i hope this can help sameone without wiping all partitions or use kdz
Im using note3,0 KitKat 4.4.2, and having problem with my microSD card when i downloading via torrent app.
Downloading filed directly into my phone storage works fine, however, i am getting error whenever i set the downloading directory into my extSD card.
Used ttorrent,Utorrent Bittorrent apps and none of those worked for me. Both Bit/u Torrent showed me "Error : write to disk(check)", and Ttorrent showed me 'this folder is read-only, it cannot be selected'. (as thumbnails shows.)
Its weird because i can move/copy files from Device storage into Sd memory card via "my files(the basic app.)", and pictures that i took saves into the extSD card...which means i can write on there while torrent doesnt allow me download into the SD card.
is there any solutions on this? Oh, and im not rooted yet.

KitKat brought a new security "feature", which does not allow any non-system apps to write to external SD card. The only way to remove it is by rooting. A workaround is to download to your phone storage and then, on PC, move it over to the external SD.
I am on KitKat and rooted I used the patch and it works all fine to save in memory card

I use aTorrent.
I think your external card went bad.
Mine did a few months ago.
I had a 64gb that one stopped working.
Nothing was getting saved to it (nothing could get written to it).
It
Luckily it allowed me to copy from it to my desktop.
I'm on 4.3
Welcome to KitKat. You'll find about a few thousand threads on this issue on XDA.
Google added new security settings to KitKat which makes it impossible for apps to write to the external SD without a workaround from the devs, or Root.
Stock has been changed to work (You still can't rename anything, though). Any 3rd party app needs to be changed by the developer.
File Manager
Ive noticed once ive downloaded the file through Ttorrent you can go to the file manager select the the file and just move it to whatever folder you want on the SDcard. I just use the standard file manager.
Hey guys,
My brother bought a LG G2 six months ago (the 16 GB version) and it's a great phone, but has one problem... internal memory. The phone only has 16 gb, and the OS takes up to 9Gb, and he doesn't have space to install some apps.
What can he do to solve this problem? Install Custom ROM? Cleaning the device with some kind of software? I've already used SD Maid to clean some stuff, but the problem is still there, the OS still eats lots of space.
Thanks!
Go to System settings > General > Storage then screenshot and post here.
There's literally no way that just OS (if stock) takes 9 GB. Must be some preloaded bloat apps.
Sent from my LG-D802
Here it is. It's in portuguese, but I think it's easy to understand. As you can see, it only shows 10 Gb available. So... Where are the remaining 6gb? (I know I've said it was 9gb, but it only 6).
Thanks.

Given that scrot, everything is fine. 10.6 GB is available on 16 GB model (rest is system reserved as OS and system apps needs to go somewhere; it's like hard drive on your PC - OS will take some space).
However, there's 4.7 GB of applications so delete something if it's not needed. In case these are HD games, heh, there's a problem. Go to apps, sort 'em by size and examine those biggest ones if games are not in question.
Also clear some cached data (turquoise colour on that screenshot, right under downloads). It's approximately 500 MBs.

Hmm ok, there's no solution for that... Thanks a lot!
Hi Guys, I have problems with my \system partition, it's almost filled for 90% and I moved almost everything out of that partition by converting it to user apps...
My current Note 3 (32gb) config is:
/System : 2,21
/Data : 26,36
I want to use 1 gb from my /data partition to be part of my System partition so that I have 3,21gb and my data partition 25,36
I found these two articles for other samsung phones:
http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/79112/resize-system-partition-of-galaxy-s-2
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2765846
But I was wondering if there is some other way for the Note 3 ?
Help?
No ideas?

Wrong forum. Q&A - here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/help
On a side note...
DON'T GODDAMN PLAY WITH PARTITIONS ON A DEVICE YOU PAID 600$ FOR.
Do like normal people - a factory reset, a new ROM, easy squeazy peazy smooth fast stable phone.
Partitionning is not magic or sorcery
I do it all the time with devices of 2000+ euro
It's just that with android it's a bit new to me, but everybody that has used a pit file to flash their custom rom also has partitioned, so it's not really a biggie and it is done frequently.
In my case I have 650 apps and nothing is on the system partition but for some reason I still get up to 2gb of the system partition...
I therefore suspect that each app has maybe some cache or configuration that is anyway stored on the \system partition, or maybe it's the photo app , i know that the thumbnail cache can also grow enormously
Partitionning is not magic or sorcery
Maybe not but flashing PIT files is probably the easiest way to end up with a brick ,
Have a look at Philz Recover .

You could start by removing all the languages and csc's you don't need, also all tts files, etc.. i could easily have 900mb+ free in my system partition if i removed some more stuff i didn't need. For example i added the Samsung UK high quality tts voice files into my system partition, it was around 120mb.
Messing with your device's partition table is entirely unnecessary, and just asking for a brick. But hey, if you want to go for it, more power to you. Just don't come crying back here when you're left with a paperweight.
I have an Gionee elife e7 32gb 3 gb ram and I have the old 4.2.2 android version.I have root on the device and I have installed the Chinese recovery. And I wonder how to update it manually to 4.4.2, because in my device everytime I choose to check OTA update the settings just stop, and yes i tried to clean the device and delete system and chash.

looks like ur phone was imported from china running Chinese rom thats why the settings force closes.
first do a factory reset and after that Flash TWRP 2.8.6 recovery and then make a backup of ur rom ( just in case )n copy it to PC and then restore the twrp backup image from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/elife-e7/general/32g-gionee-elife-e7-twrp-backup-kk-jb-t3122057
