Everything what I write is about stock rom:
After upgrading from Jellybean to Lolipop, I had a serious battery drain problems because of "Android System" even though I did hard reset a few times. I decided to go bback to Kitkat and had no problem with it. But nowadays I wanted to use Lollipop again thanks to its design and upgraded to 5.0.2 TRV30d with PCSuite. But still I have this problem, "Android System" uses a lot battery. I
You can see battery usage statistics, there is a problem with Android System in Lollipop but I can't understand the problem. I need your help guys!
I've only talked for 5 mins and connected to Wifi most of the time. I never turned on GPS, Bluetooth or NFC.

bet it's one of those strange android problems that are fixed with a reboot
Flash the stock google image and see if it persists. I bet it's just a gapps issue (hence the weird Calendar Storage usage).
Google Now since it's release has been known to be a battery hog. I keep it turned off if I choose to not be connected to a charger all day.
i have same problem
i buy 5 nexus on ebay , and 3 phones present same problem after update ICS 4.0.4 official
that problem persists on Jelly Beam 4.1.1 and 4.1.2
i try averwrite all phone and not solved the problem
i change the battery , and don´t work

Anyone know if this is solvable issue or anyone has any experience or ideas what's going on with my phone? My phone shuts down randomly and when i turn it on after few seconds, it has appx 5-10% less battery then before!! it has happened 3 times in last 10 days already.. And really frustrating..
I don't have any shady apps and using stock 4.3 so no rooting as well..

but since upgrading to the kitkat port the issue is gone.

Try downloading 'BetterBatteryStats' from XDA, and 'Wakelock Detector'. Both of these apps can help you pinpoint what is draining your battery. With 4.3 I found that I had a kernel wakelock issue that was fixed by keeping wifi on. Best of luck!
Hi all omni is my 1st custom rom and i like this rom very much but now i found so problem on my phone
my device - philz_touch_cwm6/omni 4.4 latest build
1.Portable hotspot- i switch it on but my tab cant find my wireless network
2. camera will hang
3.battery life drain faster then old stock rom. my friend intro me and he also using this omni 4.4 but his battery 40% can last for 11hour
my battery 80 % last for 4 hour only

As to battery - you were playing Ingress... duh........
Tethering is a known issue, unfortunately most of the people with experience diagnosing tethering issues don't have I9300s.

I recently bought note 4,but i have very big problems with battery life.
Cant get more than 3 h sot and 17h on time.
Android system keep awake my phone if im right.
Im on lp 5.1.1 COJ5

for me, i had issue with whatsapp after an updated. I uninstalled the update and disable whatsapps. and reinstalled and enabled it again and that solved it for me. If that dones't solve it, uninstall all the apps that you downloaded and isolate what is causing the wakelock.
I think that its some apps from system, not apps that i downloaded. But i will try, thanks

I'm running LineageOS 20 (Android 13).
Charged my phone to 90% 2 days ago, left it on standby afterwards.
The battery was replaced 3 months ago, and the phone does not heat up during normal use.
Came back to 15% battery remaining.
Anyone knows what's going on? Is the battery fake or something? How do I even start debugging this problem?
Other than the stock apps installed alongside the ROM, I have rooted the device with magisk and installed Adaway and Advanced charging controller.
