Hi everyone!
Everything what I write is about stock rom:
After upgrading from Jellybean to Lolipop, I had a serious battery drain problems because of "Android System" even though I did hard reset a few times. I decided to go bback to Kitkat and had no problem with it. But nowadays I wanted to use Lollipop again thanks to its design and upgraded to 5.0.2 TRV30d with PCSuite. But still I have this problem, "Android System" uses a lot battery. I
You can see battery usage statistics, there is a problem with Android System in Lollipop but I can't understand the problem. I need your help guys!
I've only talked for 5 mins and connected to Wifi most of the time. I never turned on GPS, Bluetooth or NFC.

In my first upgrade-experience I've used it for more than 1 months with this battery problem. I've tried everything, including using the phone until it turned off with %0 battery and charging fully.

Android System and OS battery drain

I know most of the time a restart will fix this issue but I have been dealing with this for 3 weeks. Continuous restarts and no change.
Is there any way I can fix this without doing a factory restore?
I have tried restarting after full charges,
I heard that while disconnecting the charger keeping the screen awake will help but nothing.

Most likely it is an app you have installed. I use Greenify from the app store to hibernate apps that have wakelock issues. I would start there. You have to be rooted for this to work.

Hi,
I have the same problem since upgrading to android 4.3. I read one post and it said that upgrading to 4.4.2 will help so I upgraded it but the problem is still there. I have also done the factory reset as well as wiping cache. I turned off Wifi, sync, lowering the brightness as well as using power saving mode. I don't understand what is going on with my device. It's really annoying.
I used the BetterBatteryStats to analyse the usage of battery and this is what I got (attached below). I completely don't understand how to get a thing out of these analysis.
Please I really need help here.
Thanks.

Radio shows as off+battery frain

So I have been having battery issues on my Note 3 for a while now. Android system has been a large offender of using my battery, but I've also noticed that there are gaps in my mobile network signal. From this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26891039&postcount=14 I'm gathering that my radio is off? This happens when screen is on, but mostly when it's off. During these times I can get texts, and everything works fine. Just my battery starts to drain faster. The area under my camera also gets rather hot. This is my 2nd Note 3 with this issue, the first one was RMAed because it would not get messages on time.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
Running Jasmine ROM 2.4.1.

I believe with your radio off you should drain less battery. Mine does it too, and I have awesome battery life without being rooted. Usually well over 24 hours with heavy use, and 6 hours or more on screen time. I recently did a factory reset so maybe that's what you need for better life?

Smartmanager showing different battery results?

I've got my Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F running stock rom rooted with CF-Autoroot and debloated with titanium backup.
Since I first got the phone I started checking the battery stats, and from they beginning they seem off, as you can see in theese images:
So this is the first screen I get when I open up the smartmanager battery app:

}
The strange thing happen when I click "Battery usage", as you can see, there is a 13 hours difference:
How can I fix this, which one do I rely on, is there another, better app I can replace this one with?
Thank you
Anyone?
Top image is estimated battery time left at current usage
Bottom image is estimated battery left at idle, although this changes drastically if you are heavily using the battery before checking stats
Does not seem right either, left my phone with screen off for twelve hours yesterday, and only about 3% down on the battery, which should make it stay on for far more than 1 day 7 hours?

Okay... What is up With my Battery Life?

Currently running stock 8.0 most recent firmware. Most I can possibly squeeze out is 2.5 hours of SOT with AOD enabled and about 50% screen brightness.
One other issue unrelated is that I simply can not get OEM unlocking to show up in dev options. I have updated manually with the update.zip to the newest firmware and waited multiple weeks and it still hasn't shown up. Not sure if this has anything to do with my horrible battery life. You may say that it seems normal but my battery is supposedly at 89% life and is only lasting until around 5pm, which I'm sure is not the case for most of you.
Relevant screenshots attached. Any help is appreciated!

The latest update seems to have caused this. Mine was affected too, but found a hard reset and careful managing of apps has helped. But still not as good as battery life on Nougat. Hoping the October patch will fix this....whenever that gets released.
I don't know why this is happening to some, but here i can't complain about anything... I am using it like before with all the apps that i have. I even didn't turn off the apps monitor etc.
i dont even use my phone like i used to, and its battery is crappy now ): guess i need to factory reset it so it can be lit as before
