Installation Instructions:
1) Make sure you have root access and a proper custom recovery installed.
2) Download CarbonROM and the GApps of your choice.
3) Reboot to recovery.
4) Take a backup of your current ROM, in case something goes wrong.
5a) Wipe data, cache and dalvik cache(i.e factory reset).
5b) If you want, you can choose not to wipe anything listed above.
6) Flash ROM and respective GApps.
7) Reboot and voila! Carbon is ready to rock!

Bugs:
Carbon Fiber menus disappear from time to time go to status bar menu then scroll all the way to the right then click on the menu you actually wanted i'll see if i can fix it.
Some of the carbon fiber menus aren't named properly guessing it's a tablet issue

On both LiquidSmooth and Blisspop, I have noticed a lag. Hopefully this ROM doesn't have it!

Just installed the rom. Works well so far. No lag..

Lol, if the ROM you build isn't LiquidSmooth I do not believe you should be naming it LiquidSmooth, haha but that's just my opinion. But the name is so freggin cool though, and can even be changed around to SmoothLiquid, hehe. Almost how this screen is so smooth... Anyway, it runs very very smooth for me, on my N7 that is...
I think I want to try this also. I just got my T700 yesterday so not really sure I have read enough to be flashing it yet. Already rooted and installed TWRP, but still maybe I should read up a little bit more. My Nexus 7 was so easy to customize, but this screen just won out when I saaw my brothers T700. I had to have it fast after that...
I need to make a list of ROMs for the T700, and then eventually try them all so long they are fairly new and updated. I can't stand 5.0, but 5.1 seemed to fix many issues for me on the N7. Anyway thanks for the ROM man. :good:

It's not my rom
I ended up switching, in the end, to IronROM. Much smoother than AOSP.

OK I have tried every ROM that is on this forum an d I must say this is the best ROM out of them all very smooth, fast and stable...I hope this ROM gets more updates for a long time... Thank you to all who have help make this ROM.....

Does this rom have a built in dark mode, or is it the standard Carbon darkness? I mean does it have a true black mode "switch" similar to SlimROMs?
EDIT: I'm just going to try this as my first ROM on the T700. I loved CarbonROM on my Nexus device back in early 2014, so its probably just as good now I would think. Thanks
EDIT 2: Anyone manage to convert file systems data and cache to F2FS?
EDIT 3: Wow, this ROM is just as nice as I remember it being on my Nexus 7.
EDIT 4: I found Dark Material theme in the play store so I am very happy so far.
Oh and yes, I can make it significantly faster using F2FS... Yay the perfect setup and I only had to try one ROM. [emoji2]

6/27 seems to be running really smooth.
Only problem is apps that test the storage, such as androbench unexpectedly close the second they start to write to the F2FS partition. I tried two different apps with the same results, so I can't test the differences between ext4 and F2FS which was the goal. Is it possible to format the partitions cache and data while in Android? Or from a PC maybe? I don't think twrp is formatting correctly or something along those lines as it throws a error message, but then says it was successful. The ROM seems to work though so not sure why apps that need to write test fail to do so.
Any ideas or tips would be appreciated as this device is very new to me and quite different from my Nexus 7. Thanks

Excellent ROM one bug I found is that after turning on live display phone starts to lag a bit and it's get unusable while screen recording it's necessary for Unlucky People like me who has red stripes defect on display fix this plz

well its bcz of rom arch do not support live display up to notch for live display but in los it works perfectly

Works very good. Only thing i see that front camera doesn't work in few apps.
Adn wifi signal is weaker.

even after flashing the IOS animation the system is laggy, what is wrong with it? and do you know how to make it smoother anything close to flyme 4 will also work. How can someone use such a firmware, that russian dude is good but what is the point when things are super slow?

it's all good i am using this firmwares based on stock android from past 3 months i didn't even find a lag here :v if i run multiple task heavy app usage and all it will lag but not that much as you say you are doing something wrong there is nothing like lags in this firmwares

okay if you say so but do you also say that every other nougat rom like RRmix for meizu m2, the roms you posted earlier are as smooth as this one is!? And can you point what actually might be the problem because we both have the same device!

i can't you just said its lagging but how i can know how it lags
2 possible reasons to lag is
1)Live display is enabled just disable it
2)Night mode is enabled just disable it
this 2 are only reason for any rom to lag

@murtaza1326 have you tried to root with magisk? What was the experience? I tried flashing from custom recovery but it always gets stuck on CRDROID booting screen. Any ideas?

Any idea how to root the phone otherwise. I tried KingRoot but I guess it doesn't work on Android 5.1 and above...

Android Ice Cold Project​
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see, if your device is build on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them (as long as they are LOS based), but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet available
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, your preferred root solution and reboot. Or you might just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Using the ROM:
Q. How do I enable software buttons?
A. Settings -> Navigation -> Enable navigation bar. The bar can be configured separately in its settings.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q I keep losing root with Magisk, how do I fix it?
A Check this out, if that doesn't work for you ask for help in this thread, read or ask in the Magisk thread on XDA or just flash Magisk again!

A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the root section in the AICP Extras menu.​

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How To Flash:​
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)​
1. Download the ROM, GApps and Magisk 14.0 (Optional) then transfer them to your device
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache
4. Flash ROM Zipfile
5. Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
6. Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional) - Magisk 14.0 works pretty nice!
7. Reboot to system
The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)!

My 1+ is dead, broken screen, i ressurected it 3 times but now i has **** mi4 with 100500 roms and no one working normal. All are los+extras, nothing new, just bugs bugs bugs and betatesting from 7 to 8 android. **** phone and roms on it

hello @Shahan_mik3 mate. First many thanks for the mention. You know I have always appreciated your and vasis works. Now i must see you have released brand new stuff and I have no cancro. My son has damaged bis Redmi 4a and I gave him my beloved cancro. What a pity.
Now I am using my OPO and my brand new Mi A1. Hope someday you will have one as well, because this means i will have a nice custom ROM.

Well mi a1 was supposed to be fastest to update android version as it is android one..but it's opposite of what was expected and not much dev I assume

Storage only remains 3gb after installation can I remove some apps to increase it in this rom..plz mention some app names that I can remove

Also I m not able to flash any custom rom other than this one after flashing it ..I m only able to downgrade back to lollipop nd again only this custom rom nd nothing else what should I do now its not flashing any rom other than this nd is only downgrading

and change storage to memory card

It is possible.Everything is possible if somebody gives a great intention to a certain project.Well I'm not a AOSP dev admitedly.and the reasons why still we don't have AOSP? it's because the following-->
1.We got lack of devs
2.Not a popular device and with a old chipset.so making hardware trees are hard(in my opinion).

Nothing much this time due to exams and stuff but yeah there's still something worth updating XD

thx Sir Now working After reboot but im having one doubt in my mind , i havnt installed twrp , i just write a command on my terminal { fastboot boot twrp.img } but after ward when i boot into recovery it is showing up Stock recovery ,even i tried fastboot flash recovery recovery.img but no change but my previous command works for temporary recovery
How can i permanently install TWRp ??

Here twrp.img is the name of the recovery file... I guess it's the name of the file you have

Sir I tried But Not Working ,

Man what's the name of the recovery file you have? Is it twrp.img or recovery.img?

Sorry Sir for Disturbing U again , But i Faced one more issue in this rom , whenever I call someone my screen Turns Black and never comes to its original Condition i changed my Rom but this is also same with Corvus OS

Bro I Need Helf p I'm Using Jio Sim But .. I'm Unable to make A Call ... And I Tried from Other Phone then it Show my Phone no is Switched Off But .. My Sim is Running Net Smoothly

Sir ur build is great but I'm facing one issue I'm unable to make a call I'm using JIO sim.. Whenever I tried to make a call it just ended and .. I tried this from Someone else Phones Then .. They are saying My Phone is switched Off .. but My INTERNET is Working Smoothly. .. plz Help Me Sir ...what should I Do.

Same here.. VoLTE broke after flashing android 10 ROm (blissrom). Now I am in so much troble

Guess what. Flashed even ROMS on which VoLTE worked earlier. No luck. Flashed stock with QFIL still no luck. Finally changed jio to sim 2 and it did the trick. So now I am on stock N rom with jio in sim 2.

Can someone help me with yu yureka black telegram channel? Or updates channel to join
