If i had the device i could, but i do not have the time to try and blindly make it work without one.
Installing it now
Why is this fourm so lifeless?
On both LiquidSmooth and Blisspop, I have noticed a lag. Hopefully this ROM doesn't have it!
Just installed the rom. Works well so far. No lag..

Lol, if the ROM you build isn't LiquidSmooth I do not believe you should be naming it LiquidSmooth, haha but that's just my opinion. But the name is so freggin cool though, and can even be changed around to SmoothLiquid, hehe. Almost how this screen is so smooth... Anyway, it runs very very smooth for me, on my N7 that is...
I think I want to try this also. I just got my T700 yesterday so not really sure I have read enough to be flashing it yet. Already rooted and installed TWRP, but still maybe I should read up a little bit more. My Nexus 7 was so easy to customize, but this screen just won out when I saaw my brothers T700. I had to have it fast after that...
I need to make a list of ROMs for the T700, and then eventually try them all so long they are fairly new and updated. I can't stand 5.0, but 5.1 seemed to fix many issues for me on the N7. Anyway thanks for the ROM man. :good:

It's not my rom
I ended up switching, in the end, to IronROM. Much smoother than AOSP.

Yeah I know that, I was just generalizing and poking fun at it.

OK I have tried every ROM that is on this forum an d I must say this is the best ROM out of them all very smooth, fast and stable...I hope this ROM gets more updates for a long time... Thank you to all who have help make this ROM.....

Does this rom have a built in dark mode, or is it the standard Carbon darkness? I mean does it have a true black mode "switch" similar to SlimROMs?
EDIT: I'm just going to try this as my first ROM on the T700. I loved CarbonROM on my Nexus device back in early 2014, so its probably just as good now I would think. Thanks
EDIT 2: Anyone manage to convert file systems data and cache to F2FS?
EDIT 3: Wow, this ROM is just as nice as I remember it being on my Nexus 7.
EDIT 4: I found Dark Material theme in the play store so I am very happy so far.
Oh and yes, I can make it significantly faster using F2FS... Yay the perfect setup and I only had to try one ROM. [emoji2]
New 6/27 build in OP
Latest Deathly Kernel updates see here for details
Carbon Changes:
Enable Developer settings by default
Option to disable torch when the screen turns off (Fixed)
Switch to SlimRoms nav bar settings
CM's Dyanmic tiles
Wifi priorities
Configure wifi country codes
Slim Pie
Misc changes/fixes
6/27 seems to be running really smooth.
Only problem is apps that test the storage, such as androbench unexpectedly close the second they start to write to the F2FS partition. I tried two different apps with the same results, so I can't test the differences between ext4 and F2FS which was the goal. Is it possible to format the partitions cache and data while in Android? Or from a PC maybe? I don't think twrp is formatting correctly or something along those lines as it throws a error message, but then says it was successful. The ROM seems to work though so not sure why apps that need to write test fail to do so.
Any ideas or tips would be appreciated as this device is very new to me and quite different from my Nexus 7. Thanks

It stands for Voice Over LTE, basically what you are used to making phone calls over is 3G, but the new "HD Voice" is now on 4g.
Device specific meaning...? Carrier specific? I see 3 different uploads for today... Does it matter?

WELCOME TO CYANIDE L
ROM INFORMATION
ORIGINALLY based on CyanogenMod but not even close to being a CM base at this, this ROM is PACKED FULL of features from the wonderful custom ROM teams we have all come to know and love. This ROM is at a very stable and mature state at this point but I will continue to update frequently as things progress along even further into Lollipop and more features become available but GOOD LUCK trying to find features we don't support. I am OPEN to requests BUT PLEASE don't take it personal if your request isn't filled (doesn't happen often but I will only add things that I think somebody will find useful and worthwhile) as I am usually very busy and do this ALL myself, me, I LOL and my themer @TheGeekyNimrod of course but I have taken over theming duties as he has become very busy with life, school and his family but if it's theme related complain to him even tho I'm the one who made our latest theme engine apk LOL
IF you are using Xposed, do everyone a favor PLEASE and DO NOT post bug reports because we WILL laugh at you, in the forum, numerous times hahaha. Ok enought joking around, get to flashing already and let me know what you think, we both know you are sick or reading this at this point anyway. Hurry hurry!!!! Good things come faster to those who already have a backup LOL

*** Sorry, But do to Kernel Issues with Custom Rom, Had to inject/resign Zip with a boot.img from RR (Resurrection Remix)
*** Above Issue was, No External SD Card would show up.
*** Recent Apps Nav Hardware Key May give you problems, Work around, Use the softkeys.

Looking forward to this one.
I currently run this on my Tab, but I didnt release that one because of an issue with the kernel, I had to check with the dude that codes this on the fix, once I got the fix, I tested it by just building the kernel and injecting
it with twrp, all works. The green light is a go. So now recompiling with the fix. I also have this on as a secondary rom on my LG G3 D851.. I tell you one thing, With This rom you dont need Xposed....
I didnt build this rom, But I talk to the dude that does all the coding just about everyday.. Only reason im porting it over here because I think you all would like this rom.
Hopefully I will have it posted later today........ As long as I dont get any compile errrors that will abort the mission.
Well ill check back in later................
I am thankful for all this T800 stuff, but please someone take a look at poor T805 users. Mercy, please....

I had an unlocked T805 also. I sold it because of that very reason, and it was kinda useless to me anyhow..

Thank you for the reply. I am guessing it is not so a big problem to implement a simple modem, as developr of CM 11 did here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal.../rom-cyanogenmod-11-sm-t805-lte-16gb-t3042201
I am currently using it and it works flawlessly.

Update: 05/03/2015
--=[ Cyanide L LP-5.1.1 ]=--
Updated: Still had kernel issues, But what I did for the workaround fix was use a prebuilt kernel from RR(Resurrection Remix) and resigned the Zip.
This is only temp, Till Problem is fixed, What happend is, No External SD Card would show up. So I had to inject a prebuilt kernel.
If anyone has used my ROM Resurrection Remix, you know about the few bugs, With this rom, All that is working.
There is a small crazy bug that I do know of, The recent apps hardware button, sometimes goes crazy or doesnt display correctly.
Workaround would be to use the softkeys..........
Anybugs, Send logs so that I can forward them to @rogersb11 who is the creator of this rom.
Also, I want to thank @nvertigo67 for allowing me to use his kernel...
...this means the ROM wouldn't work with our stock T800 LP kernel?

I am going to talk to Brett about that. and see if we can get that fixed.. See this rom was never meant for Tablet. And I didnt really ask him about porting it over to my tablet, I just did it. I asked him for the a little help after the
fact.. anyhow, he loves the fact that its getting around more. It does run very smooth on my D851 device. I dont understand why it doesnt here.. Kinda strange...
I would like to ask anyone that test this out, to plz send me logs (logcat) regardless if it worked or not. I really want to get this running smooth.
Brett is a pretty good coder, and he does pretty much all his own work. so with that said, Im out for now............

Yea, I agree.. See, I use MultiRom Which I also Maintain on my LG G3 D851 device, So I have like around 26 roms installed.
With 7 on my external sdcard which is 128gb and the rest on a 32gb flash drive. I have CyanideL as secondary rom.
My Primary is Pac-Man Rom Which to me is by far the smoothest rom I have ever used.
Maybe ill port that over here one day. Its kinda more like omni Based, Anyhow, its a good rom.
I can see this one needs some work done to it. I personally just dont have the time anymore. I even turned down a few people that wanted MultiRom ported over to their devices.
I have alot of projects going on and I just cant keep up with them all. Just as RR as at version 5.4.5 now I think, and I have yet had the time to build it. Which I will do soon for everyone.
prob today.
Anyhow, Cya yall on da rebound....

Be great to see an update to rr today thats my fav one
Great to see Cyanide around here!
Certainly going to give a try somewhere soon.
Thanks!
Great rom, many customisation, it's very similar to resurrection room but with free fixes and many customisation.
There is a slight noticeable lag, everything is fast but UI seems to lag a little.
By the way while updating apps the Device is getting very hot, CPU temperature going above 90°c. Can we do something about it?

I completely understand that there have been problems with the compilation of the KITKAT ROM, but if you completely dedicate yourself only on one ROM rather than lollipop ROMS, i an sure u would be able to give a great ROM to us. There are seriously many lollipop ROMS already, all with mostly same features, please give us a kitkat ROM and u'll be the most famous dev on this device

You guys dont understand or what? He is the dev he does what he want to do. It's good he tries to propose lore lolipop based rom so everybody can find what he loves.
About KitKat, so you think it takes 5minutes to compile sources and port a ROM? He said he would work on KitKat ROMs during week ends until it's working so just wait!

Bro Chill, i myself have 3 ROMS for Xperia SP, so i very well know how difficult ROM cooking is. when did i ever say that give us a kitkat ROM today itself? He himself had asked for ROM building suggestions , so i requested him to just give us kitkat ROM rather than lollipop ROMS coz thats what most of us want from him
Btw great work here @aniket.lamba :good:
Who are you? Some sort of super cool dev??

If you don't like our request then just please move your grumpy ass to some other thread instead of trying and acting like a total looser.

You are kids guys by just always asking for eta just stop asking for KitKat ROM on every thread dev makes as you say it anf he says it, he will work on it. Give him the time.
No need to try to make me feel bad by saying I'm a looser. I know much devs and things they hate is people who asks permanently for eta. Let him do his stuff. When it will be ready he will post.
And saying I'm a developer or acting like a jerk won't change anything cause the dev will do what he wants to do. He has no obligations to you.
Look y'all,I'm compiling KK just for you guys,Syncing a 15 GB source ain't easy bruh + I've to change my study schedule for tomorrow.Well all Indians here know that it's hella important to score good percentile in 12th std, especially if you're a Non Medical student. It's been 3 days and people are just literally bombarding my PM and the previous thread with posts.I'll do it,but give me some time. You'll get a KK based ROM every weekend,as simple as that. Please don't make this fussy for me and force me to leave this device for development.Just some time and patience, that's all you need to have.I hope you get my point.Peace out.

We do understand that aniket, loud and clear. Do it when you have time. I didn't mean to start a war or whatever man! Just a bit greed can mess up everything I guess but never mind. Do it at your own pace.

Edit: Deep sleep works now after clearing recent apps..some app caused phone not going to deepsleep....

On which version of Android is based? Lollipop 5.1?
It is Official or Unofficial?
This release is stable or in beta version?
Thank y very much!

It's based on 5.0 as Samsung's last update
It is still unofficial as said at the thread's name, that it is still under development.
Sorry if I answered it even though it's not for me...

Thank you for helping out on answering questions, You are correct it is based off 0C7 5.0.1 lp as that was the last firmware for the device. It is debloated, black themed and has a Rom control. Along with syscope, signature verification, unlocked all mw apps, and a ton of other mods for customization and performance. The rom is also only from the i537 varient of the s4 active. I made this rom for the i537 since there are no other custom roms for the device atm. It is a stable work in progress there are no major issues. You guys find any feel free to post them so we can work them out. There will be a stock themed rom coming soon. I just wanted to get the Dev Edition out for people to check out.
Also I will get detailed features list and explanation in the op tonight
Hey @Rick1684 thanks for all your work and sorry I haven't been able to be more involved in this ROM lately, but I haven't had access to an i537 for a little while, until today that is. I'm about to try out this ROM, looking forward to what you've given us. Thanks for keeping this community alive and all your wonderful work. I'll get back to you as soon as I'm able with thoughts/impressions on the ROM, anything you want me to look for in particular? Sorry about not being able to get back to you last time about the incallui, my life is falling to pieces around me (not asking for sympathy, but it is true) but I can always have fun messing around in android

I hear ya bro, android is always there for us to escape the drama. Thanks for trying it out I am worried no one is going to find it since the device hasn't had a custom rom for so long if ever. Everything is stable, there are a couple minor things, the theming much more clean. I will get a feature list up ASAP, you can imagine about every guide on xda is baked in plus a few of my own.

Hey just wanted to clear up for you. This rom is for the i537. It is a stable version but is still under development. So if you find bugs or want features they can be fixed/added to later builds. This Dev Edition is heavily black themed. Stock version is coming. I changed bases on the stock to have s6 ported apps and it is not ready for release yet. We are also reworking our rom control to be more sophisticated so in time we will have more and better versions available to you.
Off top thank you! downloading it now, but before i mess anything up i was wondering if u could shoot some more info on the instructions on how to flash and what all i need beforehand? i got this gs4 active I537 4.4.2 NE3 from a friend who didnt want it anymore because they didnt think it was worth saving after the charging port was all screwed up! so i replaced it flashed the stock 4.4.2 firmware and rooted it using towelroot! so i been on here checkin out all the custom roms and most of them have so many steps on flashing their roms im kinda hesitant cuz i dont wanna brick this! so really my question is after the download complete flashing this rom through flashfire is really the only thing i have to do? again thank you for all the hard work!

Awesome find bro, yeah the power port on these is easy as hell to replace. And yes all you have to do is flash through flashfire. The zip will wipe user data so back up anything you don't wanna lose. Also since the rom is deodexed it will sit on the boot animation for like ten minutes before it starts the setup wizard. Let me know what you think.
Also make sure that whatever rom you flash is for the i537. That is important. Also I would grab the NE3 stock odin flashable package just cause. It's nice to have the stock odin I'm case something happens.
Thank you for this rom its been a week and I swear if it weren't for this rom I would have given up on this phone! By far this rom is the sickest rom I've ever flashed on any device! I mean the best (period) I still haven't gone through all the features! Thank you to all the people who made this possible! Mad propz!
Looks sick man. Thanks for pointing me to this. Will /data get wiped?

AICP
Android Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, the Rom has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
With the rebrand of CM to LineageOS (LAOS) we are now actually LAOS based with some tweaks from AOSP.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the LAOS team will if it concerns their code base. This rom isn't LAOS supported, so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Hard & a lot.
*
*/

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see, if your device is build on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them (as long as they are LOS based), but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. Xposed is not yet available
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, your preferred root solution and reboot. Or you might just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Using the ROM:
Q. How do I enable software buttons?
A. Settings -> Navigation -> Enable navigation bar. The bar can be configured separately in its settings.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q I keep losing root with Magisk, how do I fix it?
A Check this out, if that doesn't work for you ask for help in this thread, read or ask in the Magisk thread on XDA or just flash Magisk again!
Q I'm having issues with WhatsApp, how do I fix it?
A Read this
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog
A2. If you are already rooted, you can use the built-in feature to make a logcat and provide that. Just look into the root section in the AICP Extras menu.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Oreo. You don't need to install any Add-Ons, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How To Flash:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM, GApps and Magisk 14.0 (Optional) then transfer them to your device
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended)
3. Wipe system, Cache, data and ART/Dalvik cache
4. Flash ROM Zipfile
5. Flash/Install GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
6. Flash/Install the root solution of choice (optional) - Magisk 14.0 works pretty nice!
7. Reboot to system
The ROM has GApps persistance in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update)!
Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk v14.0

Now I am using my OPO and my brand new Mi A1. Hope someday you will have one as well, because this means i will have a nice custom ROM.
