Well... if i destroy my S4 for any reason, i would like to have the original rom... the only think i remember about that rom is the name... i9500UBUAMDK, seeing the sammobile website, already exist about 6 roms called I9500UBUAMDK (all LATAM)... In Chile does not sell i9500 model, i buy it at www.mercadolibre.cl
How can i know what rom use in my phone?
THANKS!!
If you are asking about the version that is on your (new) phone. Go to settings / more / about device
You will also see your model number. Just filter your model number and you can download the appropriate official firmware.

If your S4 is factory unlocked, you can flash any Stock ROMs that are not carrier locked from sammobile.com, here's the tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477&page=4
Hello my fellow forum members. I just received my rogers Lg G2 and im enjoying it very much. I can say without a doubt this is the best smartphone ever. One of my main reasons for going with the D803 Rogers version over ATT was because of FM Radio, but now for the life of me cant find the FM Radio app on my phone! I have checked with Google and the D803 is supposed to have FM Radio.... any help? thanks!
HELP ME¡¡
I have the same problem ... Your solved anything?
---------- Post added at 02:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:23 AM ----------
Por el nombre creo que hablas español...yo compre hace una semana la misma versión que tienes de telefno, y me pasa lo mismo,no veo la radio...tu has podido resolver algo?? te agradezco si me puedes ayudar..
Muchas gracias
fm radio
you try to install by regular way if not use a root explorer move to system/ apps.
this will only work on lg stock will not work on custom roms.
I have a Bell D803, stock and rooted. I would love to have FM radio on this puppy, and I believe Rogers and Bell D803 are identical hardware-wise.
The apk did not install by itself. I tried moving the file to /system/app, because /system/apps didn't actually have any apk's in it. Is there anything else I could do?

You need to be rooted then and use a root explorer to install it.

AFAIK, won't work. FM antenna pin likely disconnected.
But I don't know if anyone's tried my apps lately, now that I support FM capable International and Spring LS980.
So, Just moved to Japan, bought myself a Galaxy S5 which was just released here 2 weeks ago. The model number is SCL23. Been looking to root it, but i don't see any threads/posts or any info at all about this model number. It is stated in other posts that the "international/asia" model is SM-G900I, but I have looked all over my phone, and the only model number found is SCL23. So, will any of the other root options work for my phone? And if not, is there anything hope for me in the future? The cell phone carrier I use is AU, and i am on firmware 4.4.2.
So is this just an attempt to trick customers? Is this model number correct? Anyone with any information at all please let me know.
If i attempt a root with the wrong model files, will it brick my phone?

I just saw your question and found this it may help you both https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UgX4Q8_VYM
I believe this version of the Galaxy S5 is a specific Japanese model with the charging dock feature, and thus development is quite scarce. Be careful modifying it as you have a higher chance of bricking.

Any luck with this by the way? My friend just picked up this model and I'm curious if you've had any luck so far.
no... sorry, forgot to post back. i didnt realize it, but that site is in Chinese, not Japanese, so my wife cant translate it... and i dont want to risk breaking my $500+ phone that i've had less than a month
Yeah. I haven't tried it either. I don't want to risk it. I rooted it with TowelRoot. That's all I've needed so far.

Yes. I was able to root it with TowelRoot. I haven't changed my Google Play Region.

1-você vai fazer download do apk normalmente e instalar

I was also trying to root my AU GS5 SCL23. Apparently, the AU model of GS5 is not rootable. Also the AU GS5 is most likely going to stay that way... . Just found something that might help you. Its in Japanese though.
Type "au galaxy s5 rooting" on google and click the first link on top "【root】towelrootを使った端末のroot化について…2014/9/2更新" If your in Japan the same link would show up.
dont know why they dont allow you to post urls
anyway
If my Japanese is correct... a japanses guy says he tried to root his au GS5 model and failed.
He said
"匿名2014年8月14日 20:48:00 JST
auのGALAXYS5
ビルド番号 SCL23KDU1BNG3root化できませんでした。
どうすればroot化できますでしょうか"
Just run it in google translate. Hope I helped

Good evening, I recently damaged the logic card of my S5 model G900P, I am in the process of replacing it, however I have a great doubt ..
At the time of replacement I must purchase a card of the same model (g900p) or could install another logical card of another model for example (g900a or g900h)
Thank you.

There's a handful of Motherboards that are able to fit within a G900P but, the G900V is the only other device that's also CDMA.
I personally don't recommend using another carriers Motherboard unless you're absolutely sure that the other one has what you can use as well.
Good Luck!

Can you please tell me which model motherboards can be used instead of g900p? i mean which models will fit in g900p’s housing and lcd?
