When I feel my fingerprint sensor I can swear it feels slightly rounded, but I have no idea if that is true or not. I am going insane about this and i need someone else to tell me if their's is too. I feel like it was flat a week ago when I got this phone but now it doesn't feel flat. help.
Mine is flat... How hard do you push on it? Is your phone warped at all?

It feels ever so slightly rounded to me now too, but that could be because you've implanted the thought in my head.

Very softly if at all, it feels domed as in popping out a bit. My phone is not warped at all.

Just curious. I was thinking if you pushed on it hard maybe it slightly warped the device. I just checked by placing a flathead screwdriver that just about fits perfectly from side to side on the scanner. No wobble, it sits perfectly flat.

I own my HD2 for 3 days now.
I have one simple question and I hope that more users experience this.
If I slide my finger to the right of the screen, to the end, I feel the side of the HD2. If I slide my finger to the left, the display goes over in the rest of the HD2.
At the bottom of the screen, it's the other way around. There I can feel a little edge on the left side.
Other users experience this?
did you drop it? by the looks of the pictures I've seen where they take apart a HD2, the screen is held in place by the rubber sides..
it's normal...99% of the hd2 was not been totally flushed with sides which is a rubber..
yes i have it too.
Well, in that case, mines' exceptionally well built. It's totally flushed with the glass. Sorry to put that out. I just love mines!

And what does this mean?
*my english is not that good haha*
So it's normal that you feel the rubber on one side ? Whilst de other side is straight with the glass itself?

So you don't have this problem?
I think I go back to the store and change for another one. I want a perfect phone for my money

Same here. Maybe 1/2 to 1/4 of a mm below the rubber, but perfectly straight all the way round.

No, no tilted screen, its exactly the same all the way around, totally flush with the rubber.
Mine has this flaw, but it this so minor that I had never noticed it. I suggest get over it, it's not a big deal.

Absolutely the same as you described it in the first post.
Hi there,
Is there anyone in here who's experiencing hangings when "bending" the Leo/HD2?
Strange question? YES!
But the thing is... I keep my mobile phone in the pocket of my jeans. They're not that tight, but when I sit down they're stretching in the part where the pockets are. That makes the phone "bend"/twist from the force which also causes it to hang almost every time. The only way to start it again is to remove the battery pack. I've tried "bending" it carefully outside of the pocket to summon the problem which also is done with ease.
Is it the Leo/HD2 that is fragile in general or is it my phone that's got so many bends and twists that it's broken?
Thanks for your input.
I have my phone in my pocket as well but have never had this problem. My advice would be... don't leave phone in pocket
On a side note, how cool would it be to have a flexi-phone?!?

The thing is my phone has got a few hits when my daughter beat the crap out of Talking Tom. That's why I'm checking around to see if it's just me... so far it seems so
Flexi-phone would have solved it. Great idea!
My screen has several cracks and mine now flexes quite a bit, especially as you say when you sit with it in your pocket. I'd hazard a guess that you have either separated the glass from the screen, or a mounting screw has come loose. All the stiffness is in the glass and screen.
quick question....did u leave it in the side pockets or the back pockets? because i believe hd2 arent that fragile. i always put it in my back pocket and never had a scratch or bending of phone.
I've never had my phone flex at all. That's crazy

hehe, whats crazy is the sinking feeling when you hear it creak in your pocket, and the glass grinding together and squeaks a little. (I dropped it, about five long cracks from one corner)
One of these days ill hear it snap, im sure.

yikes, that would scare me. I'm rough on my phone. I accidentally stepped on it when i dropped it on a gravel road once (ahh the beauty of alcohol), but I had to go down on my motorcycle with it in my pocket to make it crack. But I did right that time, nice little spiderweb. Bought a replacement screen, broke a ribbon cable taking the broken screen off. Got up and threw it in the trash.
WOW, you all are crazy... But a quick solution.
Take better care of your phone really thats all that needs to be said here.

Like the way this thread turned out, hehe
I just got my Galaxy Tab 10.1 yesterday. If you run your hands along the backside of it, is there a slight bulge/bump in the center? You can't really see it but you can definitely feel it. Wondering what your thoughts were on it. As a result, it doesn't lie perfectly flat on a table surface.
Mine doesn't have a bulge. I even put a level on the back (something that I know is [almost] perfectly flat) and I don't see or feel any bulge.
Actually I dont see any bulge on mine either. Mine lays perfectly flat.
Nothing here...

There's no bulge on mine either. My thought is that the battery might be defective. I would exchange it right away.
I have a bulge on the back of mine too, between the camera and the Samsung logo. I can't feel mine but I can see it when holding it at a certain angle in some lights.

Thats the battery. All units are like that. I notice that as well on mine but its normal. I wouldnt consider it a "bulge"

Lol I came here to post the same thing.
Those bumps are the internal components
To get the galaxy tab thin Samsung just used a thin layer of plastic almost like duct tape to hold it together.
The only thing rigid on it is the glass.
Thanks for all your replies. Seems like the bulge (thanks for that mental image guys haha) may vary depending on the unit, because mine was much more apparent and wouldn't lay flat on the table. The location seems to vary too. Mine was below the Samsung logo, while between the logo and the camera there was actually a hollow space if I pressed down on it.
I did make an exchange and the new unit doesn't have that problem. When I run my fingers around the backside I do notice some unevenness across the entire surface, but as you guys have said this is normal due to the plastic they used to keep the device thin.
Got my GT 10.1 three days ago and also noticed a bump near the bottom right corner.
It's not really a bulge with air below that can be pressed. It's a really hard bump where something is sticking out from the interior.
I took some backlit pics showing a folded sheet of paper (which I believe is very straight)
I'm so stupid, I swear. I was feeling the back of my tab for a bulge when I realized that I was feeling my case. DOH!
perfectly flat on my tab
Never really noticed because I've had a seidio case on since new, but my cover seems too be a bit too small. The front bezel sticks out about the thickness of a piece of paper. This probably normal just thought I'd ask.
Mine was just like that too. I took apart the phone and found out that my camera wasn't seated properly. May not be the same for you, but it might be something to look into.
Tappin and talkin kindle fire + cm9 lovely
I think this is normal and intended as it protects the screen from pressure. My phone looks like yours as far as you described it and as i wrote it makes sense as to protect the screen.
yeah thats about the best way I can describe it. The battery cover snaps on just fine, but when you feel with your finger it feels like the front part is just a tad bigger. Its not an issue I just never noticed it. I took the batter cover off and everything seems fine.
Here is kinda what I noticed, Im not talking about the gap between the two but how the bezel just protrudes from the cover on the left side.
I have the same thing, it's really annoying. Also, it squeaks -.-

+1 here
No squeak here.
My SPen moves slighlty from side to side if I touch it. Just wondering if others are this way as well or is it a defect.
Moves side to side very slightly if I push it, otherwise it's a very good fit. Doesn't feel like it'll drop out at all nor does it require a lot of effort to take out.

Seems like we are unlucky ones then. Or I am because it kind of annoys me. Though as you said it doesn't drop and clicks in. I guess I'll get some tape.
Snug as a bug in a rug.
Mine moves maybe 0.5 mm wiggle in and out after a very solid click lock. Feels great and secure.

Mine feels secure and clicks in. No issues with it being loose at all.
Mine fits perfectly.

Well I guess "perfect" is subjective. I see some people say there is very little wiggle. Well that's what I am talking about. I'm not saying it feels like it's gonna fall out. Non issue for most, but holding the metal solid frame and then touching that wiggly pen. Just doesn't feel nice. Anyways, I'll get me some of that grey industrial tape and see how it works out

I should really say that I have to make it wiggle if anything. It doesn't rattle or anything. Mine feels great as is.
|> transmitted from deep inside a Verizon Note 4 <|
If we are speaking with regard to the definition of slight. Then I have a slight amount of play when I force it to wiggle. If yours is annoying you then something must be wrong.. I literally have to try and feel it move under pressure, but as with anything, apply enough pressure and it will move, slightly. Oh so slightly.
Mine fits very nice. Clicks when i insert it and then it is not moving at all.
I am one those easily annoyed types I guess. If anyone is wondering I just got some of that famous grey tape, cut a thin strip and stuck it to the side the SPen could be pushed to.
It doesn't move at all now, no matter how hard I push and the SPen slides in and out just as easily as before. You also don't have to worry about it peeling off and getting pushed as once that tape is stuck it ain't going no where.
