I get this on my exynos edge on boot up after unlocking the screen. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong after I click wait.
Any idea what's up? Thanks
hello,
do you have an sd card in your phone?

Yup samsung evo 128gb if that makes a difference. Any ideas?
I have the same issue with 128GB SanDisk SD card which also takes ages to 'scan' for errors

Card is good in other devices
Try formatting it in computer but it might not work for long. Already "burned" 2 cards. Not using them anymore…

What's your device?
Formatted in the pc and also in another note 2 and its recognised fine in those
Its a N9005
Does your Note3 recognize other cards ?
Maybe the problem is with Note. Hardware problem.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
Yeah sounds like a hardware problem with the Note 3
My N9005 also do not recognize SD card. Problem in my case is ... one of the connectors broken. So live with it or replace of mainboard needed. I decided that 32gb be enough for me.
Check out all connectors in SD holder

If your n9005 running 4.4.2 it's firmware issue , search xda for that but you must rooted your phone , or wait
till samsung come out with firmware update which is coming and it's fix the extsdcard issue.
I recently got a Note 4 N910C which had N910CXXU1COI4 pre-installed. I have the following two queries regarding it.
1. I have installed a 32GB SD card which runs perfectly fine on it. But whenever I unlock the phone after keeping it still for few minutes, I get a notification 'Preparing SD Card...' for just a sceond or two and then it disappears. As I already mentioned there is no problem in the functionality, it is just this notification that bothers me. What should I do to it?
2. Secondly I wanted to know is it currently possible to root the firmware version which I mentioned above as I couldn't find any guide regarding it anywhere.
Regards.

Try this. Sorry, it's in spanish. As I'm not allowed to post links search in youtube for Miguel Angel Rocha channel, 9th September . And tell me if it works!
WIth a looooooooot of difficulty I was finally able to root this thing, but my earpiece stopped working and unfortunately I think it's a hardware problem, which means I gotta take it to service. I've seen a ton of guides but they seem really really complicated, so I humbly ask if someone could please make a very simple and detailed guide on how to remove root and get knox back so I can take it to service. My s7 Edge is the Exynos version.
Also, if it's possible to do it on a Mac, even better, but if not, I'll go along with it. I just really really need some help guys =/
PS: My phone is from Brazil, don't know if that changes anything...
You must flash stock rom (sammobile.com)
Envoyé de mon SM-G935F en utilisant Tapatalk
How do I do that though?
Sent from my SM-G935F using XDA-Developers mobile app
Download your specific region firmware from samfirmware ,
Unzip and flash each specific file ( should be five files ) in odin. Make sure you have the drivers installed as well.
E.G AP file choose it using the AP tab of odin and so on.
Check this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3335065
But the knox counter wont get reset, if knox is triggered one time garanty is gone

Knox is triggered, so unrooting won't make any difference.

You can only hope they won't notice / care about it, if you're lucky.
Or you gonna have to pay, probably. But they won't repair anything, before consulting with you.
Good luck, nonetheless. Hope it works out for you.
Are all the single sim version of g935f that is international unlocked
I'm considering buying this product from dubai and use it in india on Indian sim carriers
If someone could guide with the correct model and are all single sim g935f international unlocked models?
g935f is international unlocked but only use 1sim card
g935fD is international unlocked but dual sim capabilities (D stand for duos)
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Means purchasing any model would be safe, considering I want to use it in a different country on a different carrier?

Thank you so much
Hello guys! Ever since I got my new oneplus 6T, I was struggling to get volte on the phone (and still failed.)
Now, I gave up. Really I cannot find an answer for the problem (as Korean carriers including KT requires specific way to mass around twrp)
and I am worried if TWRP files that I modified, deleted or changed will affect the phone in anyway.
Would there be anyway to factory-reset TWRP files?
Before you say anything I am really sorry for asking this question. I don't really know that much about TWRP and how the whole things is supposed to work,
I just wanted to activate VoLTE not to have a horrible call quality.
If this can be fixed with just a factory reset, I already tried and few files that I added are still remaining in TWRP folder, so I guess this is not the solution.
And for those who think I am stupid for not making back-up files before doing anything, yes, I am for deleting the back up by an accident...
I don't know if anyone out there can help me with this or this is something that will cost my three old phone, but I do appreciate any efforts put into this.
Thanks.
Can you be more specific about what "files" you modified/deleted in TWRP? Is your bootloader unlocked? Are you rooted?
The more information you give the community about your issue, the more we can help.
And what exactly is the problem you are trying to fix? Did you do an EFS backup before messing with the Modem?
He can't. No TWRP for 6t (only a workaround with TWRP from 6)
Btw : VoLTE profile files are not in efs partition but in some firmware files. So flashing stock should restore factory profiles.

I thought root file system access + terminal is sufficient for efs? at least for backup it is.

I am pretty sure I left a reply and didn't get any notification, and found out there were three new replies here );
Sorry for confusing you here, I was working on qpst files to be exact, and I massed with
/data
/data_profile
/nv/data/IMS
/IMS
as well as other folders. To be sure, the phone is (surprisingly) working fine and I did get what I want at last, (volte)
but I do want to know if there is a roll back for this.
Thank you for your time!

I was trying to understand what a stock file is, can you be more specific?
I will try this when I get a chance!

"stock" ROM, files etc... is from OnePlus (original is a synonym, not sure)

It works, depending your provider.
But about what I said :
On OP5 VoLTE profiles were stored in non-los.bin but doesn't exist in dump files from 6T.
And I'm on 9.0.6 and VoLTE is still here, so I'm not sure flashing back to stock will help you.
Sorry

Thank you for your time to reply on this post! How nice community is this?!
I made my VoLTE working, I think main problem (that I experienced) was that the phone just wouldn't get IMS info.
As soon as I changed files for IMS and added efs profiles for the matter, it started to work! (I used files extracted from other phones)
It was quite easy although figuring it out took me really long time. Sad Oneplus just wouldn't provide embedded carrier information ):
For Stock Rom, I don't think Oneplus is offering it to the end users, are they? I think they are offering a software update file that cannot be used as a stock rom. I will figure this out soon.
Anyways thank you for your time!
