There are only 2 official Roms for Note2 , 4.1.1 which is the official and leak Samsung 4.1.2 .

But it still would be much better for all to find the info in 1 Post rather than looking in several other posts with 100 pages to find some info

[Q] Can Android L be ported to N900T?

Can Android L be ported to N900T?
Probably belongs in the Q&A section
It is not even released yet, and nobody will port a preview, as much code will change until it is officially released. So this would be work for nothing.

Whats going on ?

Guys i am serious in this Section of development .
I am trying to make more up to date android roms for explay fresh and for the clones but, my guides giving me lots of bugs which i dont like and i am unable to fix them.
Whenever i am trying to contract the devs of a120/wr/ef then either they reply without main question's answer or they just ignoring completely .
Why ??????
Its a development group so u should share/help others to make their project successfull but its actually going fully selfish mind here
If you help then i am also going to add credits of you guys but u guys not even respond me.
Hope u got my words
If u dont/Ignore here also then I dont have words

The device is old and dead. The processor won't support any more future OS versions. Even Nougat couldn't be stable too. Better get a new device if you want to enjoy development.
If u think so bro then i cant say anything.
Nougat will be stable soon because mt6582 Kernel 3.4.67 Already able to boot Nougat
Stable rom depends on the rom you port so if ur rom is already buggy then u cant do anything
Only way is to build from source but thats need kernel source which is missing for a120

We have custom kernel that can be used to build ROMs.

What the android version influence on kernal sources

As Xiaomi has just released the kernal sources for mi a1 but sadly nougat kernal sources ... I just want to know what's new with the updated kernal? Eventually i think the first custom rom for Mi A1 would be based on Android 8.1. As far as i have seen many phones dont have latest android version kernal sources but still get the latest roms... Liked to a detailed explanation about it...
Also thanks to fransico , Android Authority and many more who have supported us on this ... Just hoping to be stable custom roms within weeks or so
it should be a major help nontheless! think about all those devices that have great stable android 8.1 custom roms and only marshmellow kernel sources available!
EDIT:// If you look through all the branches, there is not a single oreo specific kernal source, also very popular devices like kenzo with lollipop sources only.
These Mi A1 kernel sources should have everything devs need to build something nice.
this will also be a great help for the developer to get the best custom rom and kernels as we have the second latest Kernel source code.

Kernel is the middle man between your software (andriod) and hardware (your phone in its physical form)
Kernels are the fruit of a corn.

Lack of custom kernels.

Hi,
How come there's such a lack of custom kernels for our S10+ devices?
I remember the S7/S8 having some atleast.
Has it become increasingly difficult or have our usual developers left the Samsung ecosystem?
Samsung isn't known for being developer friendly. I think Samsung needs to release their kernel source code for the S10+ before devs can create custom kernels. Maybe they haven't done that yet.
Kernel source has been released already . With the us version being locked and the EU version not having the same proc and being known to be hard to dev for . It could be awhile
