[Q] LG E400/Optimus L3 help

Hi everyone,
I'm in a bit of a pickle so if anyone could help me out i'd really appreciate it! Yesterday I was trying to root my E400 but first had to change the firmware. I tried to change it using KDZ and got an error. When I tried it again my phone would only boot into 'Emergency Mode'. I've made sure that I have the right firmware file and am now not sure how to fix it.
I've tried disabling the modem in device manager and have also tried using the LG Mobile Support Tool, but when it reaches the software writing stage it pauses at 4% then comes up with an error saying 'Upgrade stopped due to an error'.
I don't know what to try next and hope I haven't permanently bricked it.
If anyone can help me out i'll owe you big time!

if, you try with kdz what happens?
how did u try to root ur phone?
i suggest yo to do as following:
1-remove battery ad re-enter it
2-unistall drivers or things reguarding the phone and then reinstall them
3-retry with kdz making sure you firstly disabled modem

Thanks for the quick reply! I didn't get to root my phone because first I needed to change the firmware. Now because my phone is stuck in Emergency Mode, I select Emergency in kdz and choose the original firmware, then it runs for a while and I eventually get an error message saying Wparam: 100 LParam : 1010, nothing seems to have changed and it's still stuck in emergency mode. Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers doesn't seem to be helping and I've also disabled the modem to no avail.

Try something else
If I remember well you must choose DIAG mode in kdz tool, and in my opinion fabric rom V10m is best for unbricking.
At first connect phone to computer in emergency mode, launch device manager and check if there's a modem (LGEsomething), if it is = uninstall it. Then as I said earlier, run kdz as administrator, DIAG mode and flash with stock rom. I hope it will work
And sorry if there are mistakes in my english language

1.Can LG L3 E400 support USB OTG? (can be at least one of the functions mouse, keyboard and USB storage)
2.Do I need to flash stock or custom firmware?
3.Does it require a kernel?
4.And how do I make it work?
5.Give me instructions how to fix it?
If it doesn't work give me a issue.
(Note: I don't have any knowlege of C code if u want me to edit it)

Mobocobo, the problem is that you didn't perform a hard reset.
Hard Reset is like a Factory Reset but more advanced. (so this must work 4 u)
Works for me.
So first u must flash stock via KDZ flasher (has more chances if u flash your own carrier)
Boot your phone into Emergancy Mode. Open KDZ flasher ,select phone mode: DIAG , and after its done.
Pull the battery out of your phone.Unplug your phone from PC.(wait 5 seconds)Return the battery.(And read this part before u do it)
Don't push power button (or else u want to do this again).Now hold Power +Volume UP and Down until it shows the LG boot logo. Quickly release the power button.After few seconds u will see a arrow pointing from the box to the android dummy(doll, toy or something).First boot will take about 5-30min(if longer u caused a bootloop so try again)
And u will see your android back to normal without root of course.
When I had this problem , tooked me about 5-6 full days to figure out how to unbrick XD.

[Need Help] Soft Bricked my G2 , Fastboot Loop

I have a Korean LG G2 32GB D80220C_00, I was trying to install recovery yesterday but AutoRec bricked my phone. Now whenever I power on my phone I can only enter fastboot mode nothing else. I've tried finding some of the online solutions but none of them work. I think I may have flashed D802B partitions instead of D802C ones *facepalm* by following the tutorial here http://androidforums.com/threads/lg-g2-d802-international-hong-kong-version-32gb.877957/.
Can someone please share the partitions imgs for the 32GB LG G2 D80220C_00 . I would really appreciate it if someoone could point me to a working tutorial too ^^;
Update: My phone now turns on but is stuck at LG logo and the front LED is blinking. :/ I have no clue.
Update: Ok So I managed to get download mode working and my PC has detected the phone *Sigh of Relief* can someone please link me the kdz for a 32GB LG G2 D80220C_00 , It seems I can only find 16GB ones.

Flash 16GB version.

The KDZ doesn't work where can I find the TOT file instead?

Yup I've entered my IMEI and got the kdz but after flashing my phone turns on and gets stuck at the LG logo and then the Led Flashed on and off. I don't know what to do.

Try LG support tool http://lg-support-tool.en.lo4d.com/ someone tried it and it worked. It installs stock firmware.

Check if your phone is original or from ebay - refurbished

I bought my phone from eBay India, apparently it's an imported edition from Korea. LG Support Tool doesn't work.
Does anyone have the dll for a 32gb version?

Can anyone please help me out here? My phone is still bricked.

Yup my phone always powers up into fastboot mode. I can still access Download mode though.

When flashing with lg flash tool 2014 ->
select cdma -> CSE FLASH
if it doesn't work then your phone might be some refurbished from ebay.
try
1. download the kdz
2. extract using kdz extractor (I might have the files here so I can maybe manage and upload a doubleclick ready solution for you)
3. flash aboot, boot, laf..
Then flash kdz

[Q] I think I've bricked my LG G2 D802, But not sure

Hello there. I think I've made something stupid, but dunno what.
Now I've a G2 with firmware update screen. But it doesn't say download mode at the beginning. vol+ and power throws me straight to the firmware mode. vol- and power (factory reset thing) does the same. No download mode, straight to the firmware. And also, my pc doesnt recognise the phone. Here's what I've done so far;
FLASH TOOL
I've downloaded and installed lg drivers, lots of them. (uninstalled and restarted my pc every time) My lg usb serial port with com41 is working but LGE Android MTP Device had yellow exclamation mark, always. Nonetheless I've tried. Changed the dlls, downloaded the correct tot file, changed the port to 41, replug the usb. Returns with 1 sec error, crossdl {rectangle} to D802 bla bla. No luck
LG MOBİLE SUPPORT TOOL
Found my phone. It said I've already latest software. (D802TR30C) I tried to upgrade recovery from the tool. Downloaded my software but it couldn' install to my phone because of unknown error. So, No luck again
LG FLASH TOOL 2014
I've downloaded the correct KDZ's. Installed my drivers. Started program with admin rights. Selected kdz and CSE flash. And then Start. Always stopped at %4 because of usb connection lost. No luck again and again
NOW I'M OUT OF IDEAS AN OPTIONS. PLEASE SOMEONE, HELP FOR GOD'S SAKE.

I too similar problems but then this steps resolved it

So I tried rooting my LG Leon(T-mobile) and after the process I exited download mode and tried to boot. The phone gets stuck on the T-Mobile screen and I cant boot recovery mode or hard reset. I can however boot into download mode still.
Can anyone help me out?

i had the same problem too i flash again the firmware and i didn't use this method again. i suggest you use kingroot search in xda how and what

KingRoot Was The Fisrt I Looked At And It Did The Root Well But Google Play Kept Bugging Me About A Missing File So I Had To Disable It.

Same here. I was trying super sume on a lg h340AR v10a 5.0.1 and didn't work. After rebooting, I have a bricked phone D: Will have to flash a kdz for my version and see what happens.

Sharp Z2 brick, no fastboot, black screen, not booting

Hi @xda Team,
couldn't find any threads releted to Sharp Z2, which would match to my issue, so that's why I'm trying it in this forum.
I have Sharp Z2 phone (https://www.gsmarena.com/sharp_z2-8410.php).
I tried to root it and to install/flash TWRP recovery on it. Because of realy less information for this phone it was difficult to find proper files.
So I tried with an official version of TWRP.... didn't worked.... after long time, I found on an chineese forum some instructions for flashing the TWRP through ADB/Fastboot.
Bacause I have successfully used this technology already several times on other phones, I was happy to have finaly found something AND forgot to check the skripts
The result is, that after unsuccessfully flashing the bootloader got blocked trough this script (OEM blocked). Now my phone is not booting. I have no access to FASTBOOT and to RECOVERY mode.
I have found an unbrick instruction for LeEco s3 (based on x620) using the SP Flashtool (I have used it successfully for my other phone LeEco S3).
Following this intruction on my Sharp I'm getting following message:
"BROM ERROR: STATUS_SEC_PL_VFV_FAIL......."
It looks to my, that I have not all permissions to flash the phone.
SO still NOT BOOTING, NO ACCESS to FASTBOOT AND TO RECOVERY MODE.
Also on XDA Forum I found this guide for an ASUS Phone (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/help/thead-bricked-phone-updating-to-mm-tips-t3452785)
UPDATE:
SP Flashtool is not able to load the preloader file. Always stops with the same error: BROM ERROR: STATUS_SEC_PL_VFV_FAIL......."
In some forums I've read that flashing with wrong preloader can cause my issue and that in this case there is nothing there to save / recover the phone.
I still hope, that because of the Android OS there is still a chae to unbrick it.

mine is in a similar state but i still have access to the fastboot; i can reboot to bootloader or recovery but only to acccess fastboot. there is no recovery tool left on it and attempt to flash twrp - various versions of those have all been failed attempts. handset is still in the brick state with access to fastboot but no use.
please help to get this working again, given the fastboot is working, can i use any other recovery tool except for twrp to maybe get to having OS flashed?

Click on the SP Flash Tool "Download" and connect the switched off phone with the Vol "-" key pressed as on the screen, the tick on the Preloader is not worth it! Release the key a few seconds after filling the 100% red bar. Wait for the end of the firmware and the appearance of a green tick. Disconnect the phone from the PC and try to turn it on

So i did with a firmware i found on 4pda forum for sharp z2 using this guide http://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=870393&st=100#entry76931735
I managed to flash using vol- with VCOM drivers.
Tried to boot the phone and nothing changed.
Black screen, short vibration on power button but no progress, no fastboot no recovery no nothing.
i also tried to find this firmware TSP-1360-0-00WW-A03-update.zip in case i was flashing wrong files but there is nowhere available for download except baidu server on witch it need an acount with a phone verification.
Still dont understand what i am doing wrong..
Any ideas?

I don't want to give my because my IMEI are there

So i managed to revive the phone.. but as expected no IMEI no Baseband blah blah blah..
..and of curse i have no backup of it.
Is there a tutorial \ guide on how to fix this problem on my sharp z2 ?
