I installed Amazon Video on my CM11 Nook Color, but when I try to download videos that I own for my kids to watch, it gives me a message "Unable to save video, The internal storage space of your device is too small for video downloads." I had hoped that I could move the app to my SDcard, but the option is grayed out in apps. Has anyone found a way around this?
Thanks in Advance. I'd love to be able to download videos, like I do on my Tab 2, so the kids can watch them in the car....

Hey everyone I've been trying to figure out if there is a way to download music videos to the verizon droid. For instance I have an app from the market place called video box which allows you to download and save a video to ur sd card and you can even view the video while you have no data connection or wifi. Problem is their lack of music videos. If anyone can help me out with this would be greatly appreciated, I have the usb cable so even if there are websites that download videos to your computer transfering them shouldn't be a problem. Please help!!
DROID..
Hi there.
Try this great app: JetVD
The good thing about it, and thats what i was looking for is that it lets
you download any YouTube video in 3gp, flv and MP4.
Good luck...
I put some YouTube videos on an SD card and when I put it into my A7 I can play the videos by going to the "Gallery" on the Home/Main page. But all it does is play and I can stop and start it, but no other controls. Someone said that Rockplayer was better to use. Is that true?
I notice Rockplayer on the Internet as a download and it is described as Rockplayer Lite (which includes advertising).
Is this the one I would have to choose (to use for free) to play my videos? Or is there another Rockplayer that would not have advertisements (my grandson uses this A7 also)?
Is Rockplayer better than just playing the videos via te "Gallery" on the Home/Main page?
Someone sent us a Rockplay 1.7.2 APR 5.600KB, which I can transfer onto a SD or flash drive. Could I use that? Is that the Lite version with the advertising?
How would I install it onto the A7 from a SD card?
P.S. Is there someplace my cousin (living some place else) can download the FREE RockPlayer 1.7.2?
Thanks for any help.
Alice
ADD-ON:
Since I haven't had a reply from anyone on this topic, I decided to install the RockPlayer onto my A7. Now, when I click on the RockPlayer icon and choose a video (from YouTube on the SD card), I get a pop-up reading:
"Mode Select
Not show again (you'll need set mode in app settings. (a box to check is next to this line)
Hardware decoding mode / Software Decoding mode"
What is this pop-up? What does this mean? What should I check? Is this RockPlayer too advanced for us (grandson and I) to use and should we just delete it and just play the videos using the Gallery?
Rockplayer will play music (from the SD), but doesn't show any picture as does when playing music via the "Music" icon on Home/Main page. Doesn't this (version of) RockPlayer play music or is it mainly used for playing videos?
Can someone please help?
Thanks
Alice
I have problems installing market apps -- I always get a notification that Installation is unsuccessful. I was trying to install video players like Moboplayer and VPlayer. Previous installs like CNBC worked fine.
Also, I was not able to find the stock video player. Where is it? Like to add a video player which support more type of videos like DIVX.
I did found out that I could not install any apps from Market when I have connection with my PC.
Thanks for your help.
ps: my new tablet, contrary to XOOM, is not supporting synch book marks with CHROME! Anyone know how?
where are you located at?
For movies, the Gallery app is the same as the movies app. If you go to File Manager and look for the movie you wanna watch (it can be saved on the TF hard drive or the microSD card foler), just tap on the movie file name and you'll get prompted to which application to use to play that movie. It will show "Movies" and "Moboplayer" as the options if you have MoboPlayer installed. If you don't, it shows as Movies and you click on it and you can start watching it provided it's a format that is supported.
I strongly suggest downloading MoboPlayer though.
I can't install moboplayer as it fails installing. Any idea why?
Found problem...
I ran out of 16GB file space....
Anyone let me know how to use CHROME bookmarks with browser....
I think that is a huge problem on kindle fire, i mean, we can stream our music for amazon cloud drive but not videos or other documents.
I know it's possible to get to amazon cloud drive on silk (or any browser) and download files from there to kindle, but still these ones will not appear on video library but yes on galery app.
Only purchased videos will appear on video library.
Also if i upload videos for my fire they will only appear on galery app and not on video library.
I want to know if there is any way to get my videos on video library on kindle fire.
anyone?

I've looked into this fairly extensively and I haven't not found a solution that doesn't involve using a third party syncing service that can stream. I use Sugarsync, I know that Dropbox will work as well. I just use SS to store my vids in the cloud and then download/stream them to the Kindle and view using the Video player or Moboplayer.
It's a kludge, but it works fine for now.
So basically, I use:
Sugarsync to store/stream
ES File Explorer to view/delete/move
Gallery or Mobo to view
and using subtitles?
I have tried to get Vudu to play a downloaded video on my Nook Color which is running CM10. However, through I am able to install the Vudu app and install it, when I try to stream a movie or play back a movie that I have already downloaded, it indicates that the app is buffering, but never plays the movie. The movies play back find on my iPad and iPod, but for some reason it just stays at "buffering" on the Nook. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Vudu without any luck.
Has anyone found a way around this? I have a number of movies from Vudu Disc to Digital that I was hoping to play for my kids in the car on the Nook Color.
Thank you!
If you're still on CM10 might try the new stable CM 10.1 the Dev's made some changes that got a lot more running since 10.0

I just updated to CM10.1 and Vudu still hangs up at buffering when attempting to play a downloaded movie. I am running CM10.1 from a SD card. Would changing to have the rom on the internal memory instead of the Sd card make a difference with this?
Does Vudu rely on flash? steven676 is going to be putting out a patch that should help with some video players hanging watch here for it to come through.
