HELP NEEDED!! (Possibly) bricked note 3 n900v verizon lte - Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello. I have a note 3 lte verizon version and I really goofed. I was messing around after I rooted it and went to try to backup the default Lollipop (5.0.0) rom but I hadnt unlocked the bootloader yet (didnt know I had to, god Im such an idiot).
Any help would be so kind.

If you need more info on the phone or anything else, contact me.

The bootloader isn't unlockable. Go download the partial OF1 firmware file in the Jasmine rom thread and flash that I'm odin and you'll be good again. That's what i did yesterday when I had this message..

How? Can you provide steps? Im so sorry im quite new to all this

Flash this in odin while you're phone is in download mode. You have and know what odin is? You must first extract this file.

Actually, I think thats where my problem is. If you can see in my screenshots I originally attached on imgur, whenever I try to boot to odin mode it gets stuck at "Downloading...Do not turn off target !!"

That's what it's suppose to say. Odin is a flashort tool for the computer. Plug the phone into the computer put the file after you extracted it. Click the AP on the odin program wait for it to load in the slot, click start

Yes, just make sure you back up everything before you do it. This is pretty much the work around for our recovery for our phone due to the locked bootloader.
Flash where it said zip.

I just went through look in that thread and idk if it will work for our phone I hope it does. Right now I can't flash anything due to other issues I'm having but I was looking for this as well so thank you lol. I just used viper4audio and this worked pretty good. On my LG g3 I use the volume booster mod and viper4audio together to get better sound quality.
Let me know how it sounds and if it does in fact work with our phone.

Okay, what I want you to do is go on your computer and open the zip file for the pa ROM. Then navigate to system folder and copy the build.prop to the desktop. Then go to twrp, advanced settings and go to file explorer. Navigate to the system folder.

I got a better idea, download this file and extract it to your computer. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1258331&d=1344846415
Then go to system and delete the build.prop that is in the downloaded file. Put the build.prop that you extracted earlier from the pa ROM into the system folder and rezip the file and flash it via twrp.

okay its still not booting, im going to flash the factory rom back to the phone with odin for the 4 time lol and i guess ill find a better way to install jasmine, my guess is either i have a corrupt .zip or something weird is going on with flashfire, or the way i rooted this phone is causing conflicts
Well I've been there. At least you can get back to stock now and root it....I helped another guy where he could not get out of custom boot screen

davekaz, can you give me the exact tutorial you used to get jasmine v6.1 installed on the verizon note 3, my note 3 has the OF1 firmware, could you tell me what version of flashfire you used ? its bugging me that i cant get this installed, when some people can
V0.30 I think flashfire..Do you have verizon account? I allowed people to get files from my dropbox but now they limited my account.. have you been on rooted 5 for a bit? Jasmine is no big difference except for xposed

And they are in the midst of unlocking the phone so maybe just enjoy being rooted have you seen the thread for xposed? If you can put that on its the same as jasmine...I gave you all the steps earlier. .the only I could think of...can you screenshot your phone settings after you root and all?

Can I get the Cache.img from the MTC20L firmware update please?

I'd be really grateful.
Why not just download the Factory Image and extract it ?
Seems like that would be fast than waiting on someone to do it for ya

You guys know metered WiFi is a thing, yes? Maybe downloading the entire factory image will eat up his data and charge more than he's willing to pay. If you aren't going to post it, no need to reply.

Pulling now..
Looking forward to hopefully an Odin version of this since it's on bootloader 2. I'm on oreo beta 4 which jumped the bootloader to 2 so good indicator we can flash back and forth in the near future.

Can you flash this to US unlocked S8+? Is anyone seeing gigabit speeds yet? In what regions is it available?

Yes, I did it on mine.
I'm not sure if the unlocked firmware supports the gigabit tech; 4x4 mimo, 256qam.
I have an unlocked S8+ , and I intend to stay that way.
Is there a way I can pull the needed file and get gigabit speeds while keeping the S8+ unlocked?
If Yes, what do I do in Odin?
can anyone send a link to this firmware so I can go from root to stock again
