LG G2 Wi-Fi won't turn on - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok so I recently upgraded from a LG G2 to a G4, because my G2 was bricked. But I was hoping to still use the G2 for music and games so on road trips I don't need to waste battery on my G4. But the wi-fi won't work on my G2.
My G2 had the problem of just randomly restarting, sitting on a table or going on snapchat, you name it. But one day it had a really bad loop. It would turn on, and off, and on, and off for about 10 minutes, and then finally it stopped, but when I went on the phone the wi-fi stopped working. Not just for a router, but it wouldn't turn on. The wi-fi logo on the notification bar keeps flashing but it won't turn on and when I go to settings, it just says "wi-fi turning on.." I've already factory reset it. Can anyone please help!! PLEASE!!

LG Optimus L5ii wifi problem

Hello guys i recently got my LG Optimus L5ii. It is still using stock rom unrooted apsalutly no customs done to the phone yet. The problem i am experiencing is. That if my phone goes to sleep it stops using the internet on the wifi. When i wake the phone it shows wifi as connected but i dont recieve any data. I have to switch the wifi of then on again. I have checked wifi setting and wifi is set to never sleep.
Please Help
Slipsystem
I seam to have solved my own problem. On the top of the phone there is a proximity sencer to tell the phone how close it is to an object. I think that when your screen locks it uses the senser to tell if it is in your pocket. I made my own screen gard and realised the plastic was oven the sencer making the phone think its still in my pocket. After trimming the sheet and switching wifi of and then on again. It seams to have fixed the problem.
The senser also locks the screen when you make a call and there is nothing you can do to unlock it again or end the call.

Help: Stucked wifi turning on

Anyone has a fix for this? I attached a screen record. I'm on stock kitkat rooted. This happens everytime I am connected to any wifi network, then after some time, I will notice that I got disconnected and upon checking the wifi, it was stucked on turning on. Turning airplane mode on and off didn't help me. Rebooting the phone temporarily solves the problem. Hope there is a fix. Thanks.
Here's the screen record link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v2qi183hzozuqzg/SCR_20140806_092403.mp4
Anyone? I can't even connect to mobile data once the wifi got stucked in turning on.

i have the same issue but mine is not rooted what i did i download this one app via google play called WIFI FIXER.. it fixed it.. all you need to do every time you will open your wifi you just need to access that app and open it from there..
i actually talk to tech sup of LG they told me that the 1st batch of LG G2 phone could not handle the new update for kitkat that's why its affecting the wifi and Bluetooth feature of the phone.. its either you let them fix it they will replace the board of the phone or you need to buy one..

[Q] No WiFi Help

Hey all. My nephew has this tablet and I'm having issues getting the WiFi to turn on. It is constantly trying to turn on and I can't stop it even after turning phone off and on.
Any suggestions? Its on 4.4.4
Thanks.

Wi-fi is bricked

Ok, so my phone has this problem where it keeps turning on and off randomly, which I think is now known is an issue with some LG G2's and you know I hate it but I guesss I can live with it. Even though if any of you have a solution for that please tell me. But now one time when it turned off and then powered back on, the wifi stopped working. I don't mean my network, I mean the actual wifi on my phone. When I scroll down my notification bar, the wifi logo is grey but it's flashing, like it usually does when you turn it on, but it doesn't turn blue. When I got to the wifi section on my setting, the on and off switch is greyed out (but faintly blue, even though you can't touch it), and when I tap on the wifi section itself, it just says "wifi turning on.." HELP PLEASE

re flash the rom. i have things happened like that before, wiping all and flashing another rom fix, or go back to stock, sometimes the options settings are grey out. that fixes it.

LG G2 D802 wifi stuck turning on

Hi all,
The latest in a long line of issues I've had with my LG G2.
The phone's always had an intermittent problem with turning the wifi on - sometimes it gets stuck saying "turning wifi on" and, as a result, I can't get any signal or turn the wifi back off. For some reason, it tends to happen when data is turned off as well, so it's normally only an issue when I'm abroad. It's never been too much of an issue, it's always gone back to normal when I restart the phone. I've heard of a few people with similar-ish problems but not quite the same.
Anyway, this time, turning it off and on again isn't making any difference. It's just permanently saying "turning wifi on" and the switch continues to flash.
I'm on 4.4.2 KitKat. I've also just noticed that the MAC address is unavailable. Any ideas beyond finally getting a new phone? Would like to avoid a factory reset if at all possible, I'd rather not back everything up over 4G...
Thanks,
James
