Hey everyone,
after flashing my S6 edge with the custom rom xtrestolite, I finally managed installed xposed installer on my phone. I really like the xposed module called "xuimod", so I download it and setted it up on my edge. Now, my edge keeps restarting as if I'm booting up my phone manually. The issue is that it keeps restarting over and over again. Any ideas how to get rid of this boot loop?
I would appreciate any help!
Thanks for your efforts.

Thanks dude.
Okay, I have a Samsung Galaxy Prime with Metro PCS. I was just texting the other day and then my phone reset and I got a black screen saying Blocked by Binary FTP. So yes i made the mistake of bricking my phone and flashing the T-Mobiles SM-G530T firmware. I've looked everywhere for the Stock Rom but can't find it and not sure if there are any Customer Roms for this device. Can someone get me going in the right direction or am i best with just sendng it back to Samsung and letting them flash it?
same boat

I have the fix 4 Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530T1
I have the firmware 4 MPCS Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530T1
give me Plissss I need them
HOW
Can I get link too please
I need that firmware also please send me the link as well
Here's the link with Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530T/ T1 Stock rom flashed via Odin.

I know it says "Core Prime" but I assure you its the Grand Prime SM-G530T Stock. it's just a little typo.
It is the T-Mobile version but compatible with MetroPCS 100%. Metro PCS is under T-Mobile in the first place, pretty much the same thing except for the Start-Up & the apps. But it works! & the developer(s) that made the package did an amazing job!
If anyone needs further info feel free to contact me! I would be happy to assist in any way possible.

so i bought this phone about 3 months ago (SM-G530T1) and i bricked it 3 days after i bought it by installing busybox un-rooted. still not sure how that happened but that is not the point, the point is i flashed the only stock firmware i could find (at the time) and it just so happened to be a mis-marked T-mobile firmware package. i didn't let it bother me though and continued to gain root and flashed ShinySides [AOF8]. It worked like a charm! I was just running T-mobile FW on a MetroPCS phone and it just got confusing if you have to call costomer service lol. so i made sure it worked in every way and removed all the bloatware. the only problem i had was with the hotspot feature, it had a mind of its own and that got annoying but i dont really use it that often so i could live with that. the phone was a champ! so i went to find a recovery or twrp. i was looking and found TWRP 2.8.7.0...it was not for the SM-G530T1 but it sorta worked and when i say sorta i mean it does pretty much everything you want it to do except BACK UP FILES! Lol! (at least for me anyways) so i ran that with the T-Mobile software for a few months until lastnight... see I didnt know about the failure to back up my files issue so you have to understand that i fully expected the TWRP Backup files to work and last night when i went to restore one of the BUps it informed me that i had no OS anymore !! oh man i wanted to puke! Upon further inspection i realized that it was only backing up about 20% of my system only and i should have noticed but i didn't expect that and that is how we learn the difference between knowledge and wisdom right? OK so at that point i had a bricked phone (MY DAILY DRIVER i might add) and i was not to happy to lose all my personal info either, so i went back on XDA to see what i could do. i was very pleased to see that there was now a working MetroPCS Package compliments of TSAR3000 and I went to work. I flashed it via Oden and was happy to see the familiar MetrPCS logo again, but i needed to re-root it so i used the ShinySides [AOF8] just to see if it would worked with the metro Firmware and it did! it trips KNOX but i could care less cause i dont want that crap anyways and i get rid of it right away lol. I debated if i sould put this next part in the message but i decided i would because people should be weary of programs and roots applications and remember that this is the true reason we root and unlock our phones to begin with... so Im not a paranoid person by nature but i dont trust King root or any of those one click apps companies because of some article i read a while back about how the Chinese root apps and downloads could possibly contain spyware but i never found any truth to it but from what i do know about the Chinese government i dont take the chance but its my opinion and i like the good old fashion (though a little more involved) flashing of SuperSU or whatever you like. So yes if you want to use ShinySides root procedure do it cause it works with metro just fine. Good luck.

Put the file in AP slot and the metro pit file in the box marked pit and start. And in about 4 or 5 min your phone will reboot and the if you want root and recovery flash Mr Sunnyside's trap kernel AOF8 then after that flash recovery TWRP SM-G530H it's the one recovery I've been able to find that works.. Good luck

i wish someone would have been kind to me and gave me this little rundown when i started rooting my phones way back in the day. direct and to the point good job! anyways i hope there is no issues... i dont see why there would be since i have been running this exact recipe for 7 days and i must say its a rare moment in the phone modifying world when you can say "perfect" this is one of those times... now if we could only get some rom up in here it would really be awesome. hey i jus want to warn you about that TWRP your about to use. i know it to have bugs personally.... the main issue is that it doesnt back up your Data Boot Or recovery or Cache LOL, but everything else works fine so far. it will however back up about 20% of your system and shut of LOL (Basically just enough to add insult to injury) so my advice is use it cause its the best we have but BACKUP SOMEWHERE ELSE! just use the TWRP to flash or do the little weird TWRP things you gotta do K? Good luck!

I'm new to this forum. I've soft bricked my Grand Prime, flashed it, put a custom Rom on it and installed TWRP. What I'm trying to do is find the device tree specifically for this phone. If there isn't, how would I go ahead and build it from scratch?
It wont work
Can you please help me it wont work for me it says failed each time i want to do this.

Hey guys do to the Note 7 issues, im considering the s7 edge. Can the Verizon variant be rooted, id like to put xposed on it, is it limited to a certain firmware? Thanks in advance.
Yes, from all the topics you can see around here, you can root it. Is it recommended? Not entirely since battery life takes a dive from the engineering kernel. So there's my two cents.
Yes well heres is my 2 cents twrp not availability
For the smg935v
And the wifi gets messed up but there a few ad on ya can do but i dont like the fact that ya cant restore odin wont let ya
But here is the deal flashed custom rom bricked
Phone so down load mode did not even work thank god phone was under 14 day exchange
And took it baxk and got a new one

I have the same question as original post and can't understand you is this phone root capable and on which firmware and is the boot loader unlocked ?
Yes it is root able you can root it with out a problem
:victory:
RTFF!
Yes it can be rooted
I've been trying all day to root my T-Mobile Galaxy J7 (SM-J727T). I've followed multiple guides. None has worked so far. Some of the guides mention ticking the OEM unlock setting but I can't find this setting under developer section. I have also attempted to use fast boot. Is there a root solution for this Samsung model? Help me someone please!

I'm not I don't even own the device. I'd never buy a boot loader locked device.
You never know you might get lucky flashing the J327T engineering system image.
If it at least flashes and boots then there's a possibility of root.
It's highly unlikely though and the eng boot from the combo firmware would also be needed.
Hello guys,
Haven't been on the forum since I rooted my s3 years ago. I have now got a redundant s8 which I am looking at stripping right back and rooting with the intention of using it as a portable music player. After having a look round the forum it's not very clea to me what method I use to root my s8 and what Rom to use.
This is my build number:
PPR1.180610.011.G950FXXU5DSHC.
Any suggestions would be helpful
Many thanks
Paddee

Odin kept getting stuck on setup connection etc. After a bit more research needed newer version of odin and to reinstall my phone drivers on my PC. Managed to get it flashed so just leaving it plugged into my pc for 7 days. Hopefully not having a sim in it for those 7 days will affect it? As I have my sim in my new phone. Thanks again!
